“Paula provided just what we needed for our Chihuahua—a safe place to stay while we were in town for lunch. Our venue was not dog friendly, but knowing that our pup was being well cared for put our minds at ease.”

“We were impressed with Jessica’s care for our border collie mix Boots for a very long day care day. Boots enjoyed the fenced-in yard and romping with another visiting dog. With a lovely, flexible, positive personality, Jess made us feel assured that Boots was being well taken care of. We would highly recommend her to others and will definitely seek her services again, when we return to town and need temporary dog care.”

“Rebecca is an amazing pet caretaker. She is thoughtful, attentive and knowledgeable. I felt good knowing my dog was with her and my dog, who is shy at first, came out of her shell and had a great time!”

“So glad I recently found Carolyn for occasional doggie daycare support for my sometimes-anxious Doodle. She was so responsive and clearly cares deeply for dogs!”

“Kyle and Meagan were absolutely AWESOME! They even got my grumpy guy to have fun. That never happens, never. We are on vacation and it was a great burden lifted to know that there are such great people to leave our dogs with! Thank you guys so much!”

“Lady is a funny little Cavalier who doesn't have much interest in playing with balls or toys, or even other dogs, although she is friendly to them. She mainly just likes human companionship and sitting in people's laps! This was Lady's second visit to Svitlana for Day Care, and we are very thankful for the safe and cozy, quiet environment Svitlana provides in her home and securely fenced yard.”

“Mary and her family are awesome! Sage has some health issues and Mary was extremely attentive with him and took wonderful care of him. We are blessed to have found her and Sage will definitely return for daycare.”

“Rachel is great!! She was thorough with communications. I was on a tight schedule and we decided to meet up for the drop off and pick up. She was on time and ready to go! Ziggy is still very much a puppy and has a ton of energy. He spent the day with Rachel and I could tell he had so much fun because he was happy and healthy, but completely worn out. Thanks so much to Rachel for taking great care of my pup. Highly recommend!!!”

“Jenny watched my Lincoln today and was AMAZING. She was so responsive and easy to work with. She asked enough questions that it was obvious she really cared that my pup was comfortable and happy. She also sent me updates and pictures throughout the day including ones of him snuggled up on the couch so I know he was cozy. We would 100% recommend her.”

About: I have had a dog since 2012 when I finished my time in an operational Navy squadron. My family has rescued several dogs (we have six now!), and I have a 9-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix. I recently began fostering to help give shelter dogs a break, which led to me adopting my second pup, a year-old boxer mix. My dog is diabetic, meaning I am comfortable and able to administer injectable medication if needed, and can handle oral medication as well. I have taken care of everything from 2-month old puppies to 13-year-old senior dogs. I love them all. I work from home, so my hours are flexible. Generally will take my dog for a longer walk in the morning and after lunch, and several potty breaks throughout the day as she needs. I have a big front and side yard, but no fence. I am extremely careful with the dogs on the leash, plus always make sure that I'm aware of what our surroundings are.

“Kirtly was very responsive, and gave a ton of feedbacks on the daycare session with our two dogs, one of which a 2 month old puppy. Will definitely book with Kirtly again.”

About: I am a social person. I’ll work hard and take good care of your dog. I have a dog back home. I love dogs a lot. I’m free all day Friday-Sunday. I’m a former football player so I know that I’ll be dedicated to giving your dog the best care. I truly love dogs. We have a playground for the dog here at my apartment. They have treats everywhere for pets and I believe this is a great space for a dog to be.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, from small breeds to large, so I’m comfortable caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I currently have an 11-month-old black Lab that I adopted from the Charlottesville SPCA, and together we’ve completed puppy training and loose-leash walking. My experience with training, combined with my lifelong love for dogs, means I’m patient, attentive, and ready to meet your pet’s needs. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily work around your routine to provide reliable, personalized care for your pup! I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of extra time in my schedule to give your pup the love and attention they need! Again, my work schedule is pretty flexible, so I can find times throughout the day/week/weekend that work the best for you! In my home I have an extremely friendly and energetic 11 month old black lab, who would love to be your dog’s play mate. I also have a size large crate available if that is something your dog requires. Normally, my dog and I go out for 3 or 4 30ish minute walks a day, accompanied by lots of fetch and tug, and on weekends love going on longer hikes!

About: Is your dog quirky, energetic, or prone to silly behavior? I’m a dog walker at the SPCA with varied canine care experience, and I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and sensibilities. I have open availability during the week, and I love nothing more than spending those days walking dogs! I’m always open to making something work and getting your pup the exercise that it needs. I have a quiet apartment near some great walking trails! I can crate your dog if needed and I’m able to offer a flexible potty break schedule during the day.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My house is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. Whenever I watch my friends animals, I bring my own food and activities and leave the place better than I found it.

“Wow, great experience! Lindsay was responsive, flexible, and treated my doggo like family with two walks and lots of cuddles from the kids. I’d recommend her in a heartbeat and anticipate dogsitting with her again in the future!”

“Gwynee is a great babysitter and so grateful I have her to watch Zoe while I work. She's flexible on her hours and Zoe really loves being with her!”

Caroline H.
“Caroline has always been incredible with our pups, Hudson (9) and Maris (3). Though Hudson is a bit high-maintenance (Beagle-mix, anxiety), she’s formed a unique bond with him where she understands his quirks. She reliable and often can jump in last minute, which is always appreciated. Thanks for always taking such great care of our fur-babies, Caroline!”

Jayden N.
“Jayden is great with pets. He has stayed with my partner and for a couple of weeks while we were boarding two different pups through rover, and he was always vigilant about their safety when taking them on walks and ensuring no small objects were left within reach. He’s also very loving and enjoys playing with dogs. Jayden also grew up with and loves cats!”

Woolen Mills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was fabulous when she took in our little Frenchie for the evening. She was communicative and ensured she got all the instructions needed to make his stay both safe and fabulous. She gave us an update with a great picture which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend having your loved ones stay with her.

Amazing experience with Madison and Ryan! We needed last minute daycare for our two dogs and they were able to help us on the spot within the day. They provided great care for our pups which were relaxed and happy at pickup! Absolutely recommend choosing them to care for your fur babies!!
