About: Hello! My name is Shelby and I am a recent grad from Georgetown University! After years of volunteering at LaMancha animal rescue and dog walking / pet sitting on the Wag app, my favorite way to spend my spare time is with furry friends. I would love to meet some new fur babies on Rover!! I work from 8:00-4:30 every weekday, but my weekends are very open. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I worked at a Dog Kennel for 6 years. I would typically take care of 20+ dogs by myself. I am comfortable with all types of dogs at any age! From scared old pups to crazy hyper pups! I have taken care of dogs that were over 15 years old who couldn’t walk and puppies who were trying to eat everything they saw. I know my way with dogs pretty well and I’ve never met a dog that I couldn’t handle. My schedule is currently only open after 5pm Monday through Friday and any time on the weekends! I am able to do walk in to check on the pups and walks! I always try to get to know the owner and dog before taking care of the pup or staying in the clients home. I prefer meeting both client and dog about a week before starting to take care of the pups just so everyone is comfortable!
