About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.

About: Hello there, I have been an animal lover my whole life. I have had my own dogs for the last 15 years, and love taking care of and interacting with all animals. I have experience with training dogs to leash walk, taking them outside to the dog park, taking them to the beach for a swim, and playing fetch with a slobbery tennis ball. LOL I also have plenty of experience loving on cats (ones that are ok with cuddles, that is!), and playing chase the wand. I have pet sat mice, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs, and even a chameleon and a bearded dragon! I love small, large, and in between size animals and there are no breeds that I refuse to work with or for. Allow me to play, walk, and take care of your animals as if they were my own. I will send text updates and pictures to help ease your mind. I assure you, we will be best friends in no time! Please note that while pet sitting at your home, I will likely have my 12 year old child with me. I will never leave my child alone in your home, I will always take them with me if I need to run an errand. I have an open schedule and plenty of time to take care of whatever is needed. Morning, afternoon, and night walks or visits are no problem! I will come into your home to care for your animals so that they will be most comfortable. I will feed, walk, play, and clean up after your animals as if they were my own and it was my home.
About: I am new to Maryland, I am originally from Greenville SC! I grew up there my whole life. I developed a loyal clientele over the span of 5 years. I started with neighbors, their friends, their friends, and so on. I was very happy with the level of networking I was able to accomplish, I am excited to enter a new state and meet your sweet furbabies. I am a full time nanny, I work 6am-9am then return to work from 3pm-8pm. I would be able to provide overnight care, be with them during the day (walks, affection, and up to 5 hours of attention). I don't work on weekends, so I am fully avaliable. I am not able to provide housing for animals where I live, becuase of my landlord. As for in the clients home, I like to come and meet the animals before accepting the job. I meet the pet with the owner present to show them I am safe and welcome. If a written care packet is not provided, I bring my own notebook to document routine and special care. I strive to keep their routine the exact same, while building a bond with your pet/s. I write and keep track of everything ahead of time so when the client is out of town/ busy they will only recieve photos (upon request) and/or emergency situations.
“I can't even begin to explain how wonderful a pet sitter Addie is! I was anxious to leave my 14 year old Yorkie and 19 year old kitty to go on vacation. They both have health issues and take multiple medications, and are used to me being home most of the time since I've been working from home the last 3 1/2 years. Addie came to meet my boys and patiently listened while I went through multiple pages of instructions and other information I wanted her to know. I could tell then that she was going to do a great job, and felt much better about leaving my guys. Addie stayed at our house 8 nights to care for them and worked from the house while here. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
