About: I have over 6 years of experience as a veterinary technician and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have experience administering medications (oral, topical and injectable), recognizing early signs of illness and maintaining structured, low stress routines. I do best with dogs that are comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time and thrive on consistency. I take a calm, patient approach and tailor care to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s relaxed companionship, routine potty breaks or extra attention for seniors. My goal is to provide reliable, stress free care while keeping your dog safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I have a flexible schedule and structure my day around pet care visits, drop-ins and overnight stays. I’m able to provide consistent morning and evening care, along with mid-day visits when needed. For house sitting, I provide overnight care and routine check-ins throughout the day, while maintaining a realistic schedule outside of the home. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine to reduce stress while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining a calm, clean and secure environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications and household routines. With my background as a veterinary technician, I’m trained to recognize early signs of illness or stress and respond appropriately. I take a low stress, patient approach and respect each pet’s comfort level, especially with shy or sensitive animals. I’m reliable, detail-oriented and treat every home and pet with the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own.
“Madeleine was the best!! Booked last minute after boarding cancelled on me day before leaving on a trip. She was amazing!! From communication to timelines on check-ins, 10/10!! ❤️”

About: Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m a full time student at FAMU and I double major in animal science and agriculture. I own a 5 year old Rottweiler named Nyema, she’s very mild mannered and mostly stays in her room, so you shan’t worry if you have a smaller dog or a cat. I often volunteer at the local animal shelter and I’m currently in training to become a vet technician. I love animals (obviously) and I’ve been pet sitting for the past 6 years and I’m experienced in sitting dogs and cats, but I’m open to sitting exotic animals. Being a full time student I have very flexible availability. I’m always available to sit overnight, and on weekends. During the week, I’m free on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I am available after 3:45 p.m.

“Iomar took excellent care of our cat and guinea pigs! We received lots of adorable photos while we were away, and it was clear they were well taken care of. We would book again!”

“Cher was so helpful in watching our dog during spring break. She stopped out everyday and fed him and checked on him. We were stressed being gone from him but it sure was easier not having to take him to a kennel since he gets so nervous. Thank you so much for your help”

“Sarah has taken care of our fur babies to the same level we would! She is always on time and communicates with us before, during, and after each visit. She has gone above and beyond what we’ve asked, and I’m so glad we found her! 🐾 🧡🤍🖤”

“Caroline came in clutch last minute and took great care of my baby. She made sure he was settled in before she left and came at the perfect time for his night-time potty break.”

“Fantastic sitter! Shes watched my kitty twice and went above and beyond this second visit. My cat had an accident and she cleaned it all and washed the blanket. Spent extra time with her and gave her plenty of attention. Louisa is very communicative when stopping by, keeps you updated on what's going on. Highly recommend!”

“MacKenzie is a great pet friend! Lilly loves her visits. She really helped us when we were in a jam when our previous sitter was no longer available. MacKenzie jumped right in and has been an incredibly reliable sitter who gives Lilly lots of time and cuddles. I highly recommend her!”

“Jordyn is a wonderful house and pet sitter. We have used her many times and plan to in the future. She watch our senior cat while away for the holidays and checked in everyday giving us piece of mind while away and our cat is very shy but loves her. Highly recommend!!!!!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of cats and dogs. From family and friends to just neighbors. I love taking care of people’s pets because it allows me to get to know them and enjoy them from a far. I am currently finishing up my senior year in high school. I am available most weekends for now, but will be looking for more opportunities over the summer. I am very trustworthy and care for peoples pets as if they were my own. I am also very careful when in others peoples homes because I would expect the same treatment if they were in my home or taking care of my pets.
“Sara was absolutely fantastic, she was great to work with and took amazing care of my dog and two cats! I reached out to Sara with very short notice about checking in on my pets for the weekend and she responded promptly and was so accommodating. She is clearly responsible and knowledgeable, and asked questions about the pets care during our initial meeting that made me feel like my babies were in very good hands. She was very prompt with all the check ins we scheduled, sent lots of pictures, and went above and beyond by playing fetch and taking my dog for a walk when she could have very well done the bare minimum by refreshing food and water and letting her out in the backyard to go to the bathroom. Sara even helped me out and unpacked a grocery delivery that I forgot to have cancelled before we left, she was a lifesaver and I will absolutely request her again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
