About: I have always loved animals, and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life! I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. We are working on repairing a huge fenced in area right now, so we would walk around the property on a leash always. I have woods and trails on my property that I love to take walks through. Your pet and I will have so much fun together, I like to be very active and really enjoy hiking and playing with my dog. My playful dog would also love a friend to play with! I am starting a career in pet grooming in about a month, and I would love to gain experience working with animals professionally. I am very interested in learning about dog behavior and training. I have one dog, a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mix, two cats, and two goats. I've had senior dogs in my family before so I have experience with dogs of all ages! I would love the chance to take care of your animal for you and to take care of anything and everything that they would need to feel comfortable, safe and loved. I understand that patience is key when taking care of an animal! I have open availability until Aug 24. After that I will adjust my availability and I should have week nights, Sat night and Sun available. I will take care of your home, make sure I follow your directions, follow any rules in your household, and have utmost respect of your home. If boarding at my home, I will make sure your pet gets plenty of one-on-one time walking, hiking, playing, training and cuddling. I will give your pet the time, patience and love that they deserve!

About: I love dogs and like to walk dogs to earn some extra money for my household. I had a male Australian Shepherd named Gonzo who passed away 3 years ago when he was 10 years old. He was pretty big for his breed weighing in around 70lbs so I can handle big dogs. I took Gonzo to training classes which honestly trained me more than it trained him so I feel pretty confident in my dog handling skills. Gonzo had a fear of people which lead him to nip at people. We worked hard working with him to help him overcome this fear as best as we could. I think this experience has taught me a lot about reading a dogs emotions and catching signals before a bad situations appears. I now have a 2 year old mini aussie who we rescued named Betsy. We had to work with her to help her with her fear. She is finally in a place where she can comfortably encounter people and approach with no fear. Betsy gets a little excited around other dogs she's not allowed to approach but she is making excellent progress. Just like with Gonzo, we are socializing Betsy and training to give her confidence. A dog should be able to go on walks carefree and with a feeling of safety. I feel that a dog needs a confident yet a friendly companion while taking walks and I can provide just that. My schedule is a little sporadic so I dont have a set schedule and usually do one-off jobs since I can't guarantee a consistent commitment due to my odd schedule. I typically care for pets at their home. Depending on how your pet is around other animals and pets, I would consider taking care of your pet or pets at my own home. I have one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon.

About: (**175/day cash) I have always been very good with animals. Sensing their energy allows me to handle their attitude in different situations, enabling me to care for them in the best ways possible. I love to play in their favorite ways and could brush or pet them all day. I would strive to make your pet happy:) Friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets knowing I am an avid animal lover, and I am relatively confident in saying most animals love me! Whatever makes your pet happiest is what I would enjoy doing, because bringing animals joy is my favorite things to do. My availability is flexible currently so if you’re interested shoot me a message! My every day schedule is build around caring for our animals. I wake up and the first thing I do is feed mouse (our cat). Then I bring the ducks (blueberry, broccolini, Beansprout, bubbles) out to forage. Throughout the day I play with mouse as she expresses a need for it and the ducks are allowed to forage as long as they behave. Mouse then gets dinner around 4 and that’s around when the ducks go in for the night, sometimes let out later for an evening roam before bed. I keep Metal’s (bearded dragon) food and water bowl full and he gets weekly showers, he has become less energetic with age so he has less interest in roaming outside his tank than in his youth. I talk to them like they’re children, as many pet parents do. They recognize some words I use regularly, mouse (our cat) has learned “sit” for when she’s begging for food. The ducks (blueberry, broccolini, Beansprout, bubbles) know “very good” as positive reinforcement for good behaviors. They also know wow and stretch as admiration for their regular preening and, well, stretching!

About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! My natural love for animals, along with my experience as a nursing student, means I’m observant, nurturing, and not afraid of a little extra care—whether that’s for puppies, seniors, or pets with special needs. I currently work part-time on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care after 4:30 PM during the week. Evenings are a perfect time for walks, drop-ins, or spending quality time with pets who need company after their owners leave for work. On weekends, I’m fully available and happy to offer boarding services, since I’ll be home and can give pets my full attention. My schedule allows for a healthy balance, so I can make sure each animal I care for gets the time, consistency, and affection they deserve. About: I have been fortunate enough to have had animals most of my life. These have ranged from dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, and fish. I have volunteered time at a wildlife rehab and also worked a few years at a dog daycare facility that would average about 50 dogs a day. I have a bachelors degree in Animal behavior, ecology and conservation. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I currently have 2 rabbits and a dog. I am a substitute teacher so my schedule is rather flexible. It allows me to arrange my week how I need it. My afternoons are usually pretty open.
