“Ed and Amy are pleasant and attentive to their pet guests. Plus, they are very good about making sure animals get bathroom breaks and exercise. In addition, Gunner’s warm demeanor always makes people feel welcome.”

“Sooo easy to work with her under flexible conditions. My hound is a rescue from a nine-year life of abuse. Celena allowed Miguel and me to do a met and greet ahead of time so that it wouldn’t be a shock for him. He was treated as a visiting family member and enjoyed his stay.”

“My pup has never stayed with anyone other than family. From all of the pictures and updates he had the best time! It was such a relief to know he was happy while I was gone.”

“Alex Z. was amazing! Very loving and caring while dog sitting for my 3 month old puppy. Her pets were loving and playful also. She took lots of pics and kept me updated with his activities throughout the day. Will definitely request her services again.”

About: My husband and I have owned multiple dogs, mostly two at a time, since we've been married, 38 years now. Two of which were rescue dogs and one of those two I actually rehabbed to be comfortable around other people and dogs. My daughter, Shannon, is also a Rover Sitter ("Shannon's Doggie Flop Pad"), and occasionally she has needed me to dog sit for her because of high demand. I really enjoyed the dogs I watched and my pups had a great time playing with them, so I decided to become a Rover Sitter myself! Shannon and I have been referring each other ever since. During your dogs stay, they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Our big, completely fenced-in, backyard lets the dogs run, play and explore as much as they'd like. I can also take your dogs for walks if that is part of their daily routine. No need to bring toys, we have toys galore. Unless, they have a favorite they can't be without. Taking care of your pets is my first priority! I am home most days all day, if not me, my husband works from home full time and is my partner in caring for the dogs. I do work very part time outside the home, a few days a month, I’m never gone for more than 3 hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in back yard for your pet’s safety. I will care for your pet or pets as if they were my own in my home, giving them lots of love and attention. I do have one small dog of my own who gets along well with all dogs and will be excited to meet yours and to keep your fury friend company.

“Super flexible and wonderful experience! Ozzy enjoyed getting to play with another dog and he was well taken care of and received a picture update during his time!”

“Dana was great. We needed someone close to my sister's house while we celebrated an early Christmas, and she was able to help us out. We will definitely use her again when we are in town.”

About: I'm on sabbatical from work for a few months and looking for some furry friends to hang out with, walk, or take to the park! I've had dogs and cats (and rabbits, birds, hamsters, rats, and a goat!) since I was 4 years old. My 18 year old rescue Lamington passed away a bit ago, and now it's just Mouse (my 9 yr old rescue dog) and I! I have a lot of experience with taking care of older dogs, administering their meds, (including subcutaneous fluids, and injectable medicine), and being gentle and doing what they like, and at their pace. I'm also great with a ball and frisbee and can take your pup for a good mentally stimulating walk (plenty of sniffing and walking, so their minds and bodies are properly stimulated!). I've done work in animal rights law and activism and I will always put your animal-child's needs first. <3 Since I am on sabbatical for at least a few months, my schedule is pretty open. That includes weekdays and weekends. I'm used to having crazy hours as a nonprofit immigration attorney, and therefore generally I'm pretty flexible and can adjust as needed. For drop ins, walks, boarding, and day care services, I'll keep your dogs safe and update you frequently with photos to ease your mind. I know it's hard to be away from your furry children. :)
“Kacie is amazing!!!! This is the first Wag daycare where my pup came home totally exhausted! She went on walks and got to go to the dog park. Thanks for taking such great care of my baby!”

Availability all week as I am currently not working and would love to walk your dog and make sure they have water and food during the day Experienced in socializing and training pups. “Andy & Lydia took wonderful care of our pup during his day visit in their home, he was so happy and energetic when we picked him up, we knew he had had a great time!”

“Whitney is an excellent care provider for my fur baby! My girl suffers from separation anxiety and I needed someone she could hang out with when I was at work and my family was out of town. All I can say is this was the first time my baby was actually excited to leave me and stay with someone! She wagged her tail and easily went to Whittney when I dropped her off. Always came back to me happy and relaxed. Whittney was great sending me lots of pictures and she regularly took her for a walk. Plus, Whittney is so sweet herself, I want to be her friend!”
Woods Landing dog parents share their Rover experiences
Idi was great! She took great care of our very anxious dog. She was great with adjusting to what he needed and trying to help him stay calm. I highly recommend her for any pet. She really cares about them and asks lots of questions to make sure they feel at home in her house.
