“Brandon and Mary C. were absolutely wonderful with Millie! They dropped-in Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and went above and beyond every single visit. They made sure she got outside, spent time playing with her, practiced tricks with her, and even took lots of pictures so we could see how she was doing. It was clear that they genuinely cared about her and wanted her to have a fun, happy visit each time. We came home knowing Millie was well taken care of, and that gave us such peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend Brandon and Mary C. and will definitely be booking them again! 🐾❤️”

“Our second longer trip within the last couple months. Knowing that Mariah was taking care of our animal family was a great relief. We know they’re all well looked after, getting attention and subject to her keen eye for things that might be astray. Constantly doing all she can to help. Thanks and we can look to travel more with no concerns for our pets well being.”

“We have a 4 month old Golden Retriever puppy and a 5 year old Lab. The dogs loved Mariah! She did a fantastic job taking care of the puppy and being very respectful of our house. The dogs seemed happy and refreshed. I would recommend Mariah to anyone!”

“Tania is amazing!! We are so grateful to have her in our lives. She’s so accommodating, very communicative, always quick to respond and just a pleasure to interact with. I feel so at peace when she’s with our boy. She’s been with him pretty much every weekend this summer!”

“Janis did an amazing job watching our dog while we were away at our wedding! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in great hands during such an important weekend. She was reliable, caring, and clearly treated our dog like her own. We came home to a happy dog and couldn’t be more grateful. We highly recommend Janis to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

About: I will care about your pets like they are my own. They deserve the best care and best time during their lives. I can give medication to pets if needed as I have a senior cat of my own. I'm currently working full time 4 days a week, but would like to branch out and work with animals again part time. I am available friday-sunday. I will make sure they have fresh water & clean bowls, feed them when needed, make sure they are safe and clean. If they have accidents I will make sure to clean them up. I will walk dogs and check in with them, clean up after them, and give them water/ treats/ food when requested. I will make sure cats litter is clean and fresh, they have access to clean water, and feed them/ play with them during drop ins.
“Cassie was the absolute best! She was so attentive and responsive, and gave great care to our two cats! She also sent great updates and pictures, would highly recommend her to pet sit!”

“Pups loved Robin. This was our first try with a drop in and her ability to deal with two very active dogs with food, meds, and getting them out and back in was perfect. We will definitely use Robin again.”

“Having never used a pet sitter for our 3 cats we didn’t know what to expect. After chatting with Stephanie, our minds were set at ease. She did wonderfully with our 3, one of whom needs daily medication. She sent daily updates and pictures. If we need a pet sitter again she would definitely be our first choice!”

“Last minute trip and Pam was very accommodating. Came on very short notice to meet the dogs and go over details. Very professional and my Goldens had a great time. They were well taken care of..... This was my first experience with Rover and I'm very pleased. 5 Stars!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Woodland Run
Eric took care of my two cats while I was away on vacation, and I could not have asked for a better experience. He was pleasant and easy to work with from start to finish. It was clear he took excellent care of them. When I got home, both cats were relaxed, happy, and clearly well looked after. That peace of mind means everything to me when traveling. His check-in cards always made my day, and he sent some fantastic photos that reassured me they were doing great. I really appreciated the thoughtful updates and attention to detail. I highly recommend Eric and absolutely plan to use his services again for future travel.

Fantastic sitter; highly, highly recommend!! Calailah was very kind to our two kitties even when Orion wasn’t very kind to her at first. Orion usually doesn’t like new people but he warmed up to Calailah in one day- the fastest he’s ever warmed up to someone! Will definitely be reaching back out next outing!

The last time my family and I went away we had to put our pets in a daycare and our dog got sick so our experience with putting them in a daycare was tainted. So this time around I chose Rover but I was very nervous about It however after speaking with Haylee I felt much better and confident that things would go well. She did just an amazing job and she sent reports every step of the way. I was so thankful that I was able to leave our pets home this time around and will do so moving forward. Highly appreciated Haylee and would definitely recommend!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodland Run. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
