Vet Tech to care for your pets
I am a former veterinary technician, pet sitter and have been caring for pets personally or professionally for over 25 years. I am a true animal lover and I have experience caring for amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates, small animals, dogs, cats, birds, chickens, rabbits, horses, goats, other livestock and fish. I am pretty comfortable with any animal and can provide excellent loving care. I can administer medications, injections and other therapies and have lots of experience with geriatric care of elderly pets. I also have experience with teaching basic obedience, and leash walking skills and offer training services. I love teaching a pet a new behavior or command - especially puppies! I am also a horticulturist and can provide care for your houseplants!

Shannon is the best! I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take good care of your fur babies. We’ve used her several times now and never had an issue and our fur babies are always well taken care.

Programa
I am self-employed full time and work at home, so I can provide your pet with frequent attention, and lots of outside breaks and playtime. I am currently booking full time, daily and weekends. I have availability for drop offs (dogs) or small animals in their own enclosures, home visits or walks, boarding short or long term. I am flexible with drop off times as long as they are discussed in advance. I am also offering transport services to vet or grooming appointments. IF YOU NEED ANY OF THE ABOVE SERVICES FOR A SPECIES NOT LISTED ON ROVER, OR HAVE A MIX OF SPECIES PLEASE MESSAGE ME TO DISCUSS RATES. I offer a FREE 30min. MEET & GREET at a coordinated location with you and your pet to make sure I am a good fit. For boarders and daily drop offs, the meet & greet will take place at my home (outside due to Covid), to make sure your pet will get along with mine. For dog walks and drop ins, MEET & GREETS will be at your location. I offer a 10% discount for military, first responders, and teachers. Please let me know if any apply to you.

I provide a fun, caring environment that meets your pets needs. Safety and is my number one priority as your pet sitter. For drop off care or boarding in my home, I have a fun, safe, large fenced back yard, perfect for running around and exploring. For home visits I always refer to my clients for best practices regarding safety with their pets. Every pet is different so I use a flexible approach based on my clients and their pets needs. FOR BOARDERS AND DAILY DROP OFF CLIENTS * Your pet MUST be friendly with CHILDREN and DOGS as both live on the premises. * All pets must be up to date on their RABIES if applicable for your pets species. * To prevent parasites from being introduced into my environment, all pets need to be currently on flea/tick medications. ** Grooming services are offered exclusively through Diamond Dogs grooming in Hamilton. I provide many different types of toys, treats, and a doggy pool during the summer. One of my favorite activities to do with the dog friends I am taking care of is going on a walk through my neighborhood or hiking at one my favorite dog friendly trails. It's also fun playing training games in my big, fenced backyard or throwing a ball with my ball launcher.
