I currently work remotely as an independent contractor and I set my own schedule. I love animals and I prioritize pet-sitting since it brings me so much joy. That said, my schedule is very flexible and I often move things around if I need to for pets and pet-parents I’ve worked with before.

I give all pets the space and safety they need to trust me and warm up to me. I’m patient, affectionate, and luckily have never met a pet who doesn’t like me ☺️ I follow each owner’s carefully crafted instructions and ensure a stress free process for all. As for my home: My cat Ari is currently cohabiting with my partner's cat, Marcus. They get along great! Ari has lived with dogs before without issue but as he has gotten older he has become a bit more weary. They have cat trees, scratching posts, and two litter boxes. When they are not playing with each other, they are napping or snuggling.

I am a young physician but due to a plethora of unfortunate personal and health related circumstances, I’m taking a long break (years not months or weeks) to focus on my well being. If your pet has special medical needs I'm happy to help if you provide me with the adequate instructions.
A typical day
With cats, I first get to know them to make sure they feel comfortable with the new stranger in the house! Based on how they warm up to me, I provide play and infinite pets as long as they allow it. My approach to dogs is practically the same. I will take them to dog parks if that's requested, play ball and frisbee, and give them all the snuggles.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (a mixed breed and a dachshund), I've own a cat for eleven years and I've been a cat sitter for multiple friends and peers over the years, I lived with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for 3 years and took care of him while my roommate was away, I also lived with an American Bully puppy for one year. Lastly, my parents own a Bernedoodle and recently acquired a French Bulldog. I took care of the Bernedoodle on multiple occasions while my parents were traveling and helped with his training. I love animals! I used to want to be a vet but chose to be a hooman doc instead. Mistakes were made :)

Tania took amazing care of our two cats (ages 10 and 2) while we were away for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She followed our instructions to the letter, kept the house free of kitty messes the entire time, and communicated with us regularly so we always knew our babies were in good hands. Our cats absolutely loved her; you can tell she genuinely cares about animals. Highly recommend Tania to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive pet sitter!
