About: Hi I'm Matt. I'm a big animal lover, and have been in the animal field for 15yrs working with all different types of wildlife. Have experience in giving vaccines(IM or SQ), oral meds, and basic care. I have since moved onto a new adventure in lawncare. I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with a German Shepherd, a purebred Samoyed, and a tabby cat. Currently, I have 2 beagle-shepherd mixes, Hunter and Holmes, who are 2 of the sweetest boys you will meet. We are often outdoors taking our daily walk, hiking local state parks, camping, or just working in the yard. I have always loved being around animals, especially dogs, and find that having them brings such happiness to life. The boys and I are together daily. I currently work typically Mondays thru Fridays sometimes varied or longer hours. However, we always make time to go for a walk daily, and on the weekends typically are out exploring. Hunter gets meds twice a day in a pill supplement as well as I trim their nails and baths occasionally. I currently rent a duplex that has a fenced backyard, and also have a spare bedroom and wire kennel if needed. Typically my dogs free roam during the day, and are good to be alone overnight or up to 10hrs which can allow me to spend time with your furry friend.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old and have a passion for giving them the best life! I will treat your pet as my own, making sure they are well taken care of and happy. I'm always ready and willing to go for walks, give them approved treats, lots of play time and willing to give them medicines if needed as well! I am available most of the time!! I can be available for early morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, or weekend runs around the block! Pets are a huge priority in my life and I will make your pet one of my biggest priorities. I currently have three rescue dogs and one rescue cat. I understand that every pet is different in their comfort level with humans. I will work with your pet, at their comfort level, to ensure we create a positive and safe relationship. If possible, I'd be happy to set up play dates with other dogs as well! Leashes and harnesses are what I use for my pets, but I'm open to walking your pet how they walk best.

Many friends, family members, and even some clients from the clinic I worked at have relied on me to care for their pets (both cats and dogs). I've cared for young pets, seniors, and all in between. I am comfortable giving medications to pets who require them. I'm currently working full time, but I am looking to move into a part time position to have more time for pet parents and their families. I live in an apartment at the moment, so I would not be able to accept services where pets would have to stay with me. About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
