“Carissa was so good to my animals! If anything was out of the norm during her visits she made sure to contact me! My mind was put at ease during working hours knowing I had someone like her with them! 10/10 recommend booking with her and will definitely book again in the future. About: Hi! I’m a caring, responsible, and dependable dog sitter who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to provide the love, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make time for pet sitting throughout the day. I can plan visits around my daily responsibilities and make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, walks, feeding, and care. I’m able to adjust my schedule based on each pet’s routine and needs, whether that means morning visits, afternoon check-ins, evening care, or overnight stays. My goal is to provide dependable and consistent care while keeping your pet comfortable and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and caring environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed. I follow each pet’s routine and any special instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and other care needs. I believe trust is important, so I communicate with pet parents and keep them updated while their pets are in my care. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, giving them the attention and care they deserve. 🐾❤️

About: Hi! My name is Ryaan, and I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Animals have always been a huge part of my family, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also worked for several years at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Your pet will be treated like family in my care! 🐾 I currently have just a few 1 hour classes a week on just Mondays and Wednesdays and am home for the most part otherwise making me available for your pets. -fenced in yard -home frequently -able to provide long walks and lots of playtime -safe home (mostly pet proofed) -stairs are needed to be taken to get up to the house and down to the backyard
“My two cats were well cared for by Tiffani. The photos she sent each day make me believe they were comfortable with her being there. I came home to find them fed and watered, and having been cleaned up after.”

About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
About: I’ve been training a German Shepard and a Rottweiler for 2 years. I’ve walked all of my friends and family’s dogs. Just know your dog will love me! My job is hybrid so I’m usually available every other day for couple hours. Available on weekends. I can always make time for you and your dog! Since I’ll be a dog walker, I will make sure I’m general and relaxed with your pups if they are aggressive. No dogs are bad, they just need correct guidance which I can offer. Let’s make dog walking fun for your pups!

“Shane was amazing with our dog, Ritter! He provided great feedback and updates at every visit. Lots of pictures and he was very patient and flexible when Ritter was not wanting to walk. I would highly recommend Shane!”

“Hanna is definitely a animal lover. She took the time to make sure our oldest kitty was able to eat without being pushed out of the way by another cat. She took the time to visit with everyone. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Rachel is the best sitter ever! One of my us is a VERY fearful dog and she worked with him until he was comfortable with her. Plus made all the visits and took so very good care of my pets through this terrible ice, snow, and single digits crazy weather in (along with the electricity going on and off) nashvile had this year over Christmas!! I was so fearful about leaving my pups to go on our out of state trip and she ended up being a lifesaver!!! Thank you Rachel you are truly the best!!!!”

“Alexia came over and walked our dog and played with her outside. She sent pictures and followed all the directions. All without ever meeting our dog or being to our house before.”

“Katie did an excellent job taking care of my dogs while I was out of town for a couple days. The boys loved her!! She gave them lots of extra attention. Katie is awesome with big dogs.”

About: I have had a dog for 12 years and do dog sitting on occasion. I love dogs and will take care of your dog as if it were my own! We can go for walks, runs, or just take a nap depending on what your dog enjoys. My goal is for both you and your furry friend to be happy. No dog is too big, no dog is too small as long as their tail is wagging I can dogsit them all! I love all dogs and would love to take care of your pet! I can assure they’ll have a great time and come back with wagging tails and happy smiles (maybe some drool too). Pick me to watch your dog and everyone will be happy! (: I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pups! Always ready to go for a walk whenever needed! I have two dogs at home so I know just how badly one occasionally needs a walk! Both of my dogs are relatively large so no matter the size I’m ready to accompany your pup on a walk!
About: I’ve grown up raising 2 toy poodles from my childhood. Now as an adult I adopted my first dog of my own, Mabel, who is an 5yr old lab! I also have horses, so have been around all sorts of animals my whole life. Love any and all sizes and breeds of pups! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and can do last minute/short notice requests no problem! If you need me to spend a little more time with your pet, I can easily bring my work computer with me. I would treat your home as my own. Follow any/all rules you may have as well as rules for your pet. My dog is crate trained when away so I am comfortable having anything to do around crating.
“It was a true blessing to come across Bryanna to help with drop in visits for our 2 adult rescue dogs and outside cats. Our dogs are seldom left alone over night and this was their first time having somebody come in to care for them. Bryanna came out to meet the dogs and learn of the routine and responsibilities a few days before. During the drop ins, Bryanna sent pictures and would respond to messages promptly. Although our dogs would bark at Bryanna when she came in, they were fed, let out and were given treats. They were in good hands. Bryanna was prompt with her care and time with them. Thank you Bryanna!”

About: I grew up from childhood in a family with dogs around all the time. I’ve had my boy Jordy for 5 years now. He’s husky just like I had in my teenage years. Training him went super well and it’s been one of the best experiences of my adult life having him around. He gets along great with most all other dogs and loves kids. I absolutely adore animals and I've been a nanny for several families over the past 10+ years, where I've cared for pets as well as children whether just on a normal daily basis or while the families were out of town. I'm currently a freelance photographer and I generally work from home most of the time which offers me a good bit of flexibility and free time to take on some odd jobs like pet-sitting and or childcare. I have a fenced in yard and a high energy friendly husky to play with. I also drive a 4runner that'd be easy to load up and take a couple pups to the parks nearby and/or it’s a great neighborhood to go for a long walk/run.

Lisa was wonderful! She is incredibly sweet and truly treats your furry friends like they’re her own. During her drop-in visit, she was prompt, followed all of our instructions, and sent thoughtful updates that gave us peace of mind. Our pets absolutely loved her and soaked up all the scratches and attention they could get. She was a pleasure to work with, and our fur kiddos already miss her. We’d happily book with Lisa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
