About: I have over 15 years of pet sitting experience with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, birds, turtles, lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I have experience with temperamental or reactive animals as well. About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. “I would highly recommend Frank And Julie as your next Dog Sitters. After being referred to them, when I reached out, I had let Frank know I was having a hard time locating them in the Rover app. He went out of his way to help me get things going. Once we were able to set up a time for an initial meet and greet, due to a really bad storm that was rolling in, they were flexible with changing the time for us. That’s when we got to see the fantastic location (their house and property), where they take care of the dogs. While we were getting to know them, they were getting to know our dogs, and asked lots of great questions to make sure they understood how we approach our pups. In addition to their fenced in yard, they have acres and acres of land and are very happy to take dogs out for walks to let them burn their energy. A couple days later, our dog spent the day with them and everything went really really well, and our dogs were so very tired out when we got them back. We even got lots of pictures while we were gone for the day which we really appreciated. Frankie and Julie really understand what it is to be a pet owner and strive to treat our dogs as their own. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. About: I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 other puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily utilized park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.
About: I love taking care of dogs. I will walk your dog in the Spring, Summer and Fall in good weather. Your dog will have my 3 year old Maltese to play with. I’m CPR trained and if needed, with calling you first, take your dog to my home town ER hospital (hope we never need to use that). Your dog must be potty trained for outside. My grandchildren all love dogs, they visit sometimes. I have been with dogs all my life. So rest assured I’ll take care of your dog while I take care of mine and my grandchildren. Retired after 26 years of working in law enforcement and am much happier spending my days helping with pets. I have a very open and flexible availability. I am not able to care for your pets in my home due to my mastiff being extremely territorial. I am comfortable doing drop in care or walking your pets.

About: As far as experience goes there isn’t a time in my life I remember that I wasn’t caring for an animal. From reptiles, to rodents, to cats and dogs, I’ve had them all. From a young age I was taught responsibility and discipline when it came to caring for tiny creatures. Additionally for over two years I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. During this time I gained knowledge as to how animals interacted with one another, how to properly administer medication, warning signs to look out for, what to do in emergencies, and deeply studied animal behavior. To add on to that I am currently employed at a doggie daycare. During my time here not only have I gotten to widen my horizons when it came to taking care of animals but I have learned hands on how to bandage a wound, what to do in animal confrontations as well as how to handle the unexpected such as sickness or seizures. Additionally over the last 3 years I have volunteered at different animal welfare programs across the globe. These include Portugal, Puerto Rico, Tanzania and soon Hawaii. During this time I have not only seen hands on other cultures way of taking care of animals but also gained knowledge as to how to better the animal care I provide to clients. As I previously stated I currently am employed at a doggie daycare. Additionally I work at a bakery as well. My schedule changes weekly so it can be hard to give an exact time frame when booking. Typically I work up to 8 hour shifts. I typically prefer to stay in clients homes to keep their pets safe and happy in their own environment. I will be there in the morning before work, and will immediately come back when I get off as well as being there at night. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets while you are away I typically only offer staying in the clients home and I am comfortable crating animals while gone. I always keep things like medications safely out of reach and secured. Additionally upon booking I typically ask about any health notes, allergies, or special needs as well as a good contact number for your vet in case of emergency.

About: My family has had a dog since I was younger and I currently have a mini goldendoodle. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I am new to Rover so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I have an acre of land (not fenced in). We love to go on walks and sniffaris at our local parks. Buckley loved to play with other dogs and Wila is more of a people dog. They even loves to go backpacking and hiking which often include 10+ miles a day.

About: I have always had family pets growing up. I got my own dog when I was in high school. I currently own 2 well-mannered dogs, a hunting labrador and a scent detection pit-mix. I have more than 2 years of professional gun dog training experience, and have trained over 50 other puppies/dogs. I currently work from home, so I will be able to accommodate any schedule your pet may need. My own dogs recieve 2 feedings per day (5am and 5pm). We often take a morning walk (typically no less than 1-2 miles, less if I am walking a young puppy or senior dog with mobility issues). Also evening walks if weather is appropriate. I do not allow my dogs to do strenuous activity or rough play right after a meal. The yard is not fenced, so dogs will be on leash or long-line and fully supervised when outside the home. For off-lead outdoor fun we will take trips to the local dog park (not a very heavily utilized park, usually empty). I have experience providing oral and subcutaneous medication to pets, should your pet need medication while in my care.
