About: What truly sets me apart is my lifelong devotion and hands-on experience as a pet parent myself. I've been a fur baby mom to both cats and dogs, from playful puppies and kittens to graceful seniors, for half of my life. This isn't just a job for me; it's a passion born from a deep understanding of what our beloved companions need. Beyond my personal pets, I've dedicated my time to volunteering at the Austin Animal Center, walking dogs onsite and providing them with much-needed breaks from kennel life. This experience has further honed my ability to connect with and understand diverse dog personalities. Currently, my own family includes Scully, a wonderful kitty I fostered from Austin Pets Alive! and happily adopted in 2022. Her presence is a constant reminder of the joy and responsibility that comes with welcoming a pet into your home. To ensure your pet has the safest and happiest stay possible, please share any important details about their personality or needs. *Interactions with Cats: Please note that I have a friendly house cat named Scully. She’s very accustomed to dogs and just minds her own “cat business.” That said, if your dog is cat-aggressive, has a strong prey drive toward cats, or has never been around cats, I may not be the right fit. I want to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable in the home. Let me know what your dog’s experience with cats has been like! Working remotely from Kyle, Texas, gives me an incredible amount of flexibility, which translates directly into top-notch care for your furry family members! My daily and weekly routine revolves around being fully present for your pets. You can expect: Personalized Attention: Every pet is an individual, and I tailor my care to meet their specific needs, whether they're high-energy, a couch potato, shy, or outgoing. Communication: I provide regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can see your pet happy and well cared for. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you're away. Safety First: I am always vigilant about potential hazards and prioritize a safe environment.

“Hey everyone, Denise is the pet sitter you want for your pet babies! My dog Daisy was so excited to go to her home each day. Before we even got the truck stopped she would jump down to the floorboard ready to get out! Denise is so accommodating and we just felt safe leaving Daisy with her. You won’t be disappointed!”

About: Hi my name is Mimi.💗We build such strong bonds with our fur friends 🐶 and fur babies that's why it is difficult leaving them home for a day when we need to go to work. Trust me I get it! and I know you feel the same because you are here and you want someone who can care for your animals as if it is their own, and I am your gal. In Colorado, my husband and I were small-town pet sitters. We enjoyed caring for the neighborhood's pets of all kinds and helping their owners feel secure knowing that their pets would be well taken care of. I have experience fostering animals and raising my Siberian puppy, and I have gained so much insight into animal behavior. Siberian Huskies are known for being stubborn, but we have built such a loving connection with our Husky that you wouldn’t believe how sweet and much he responds to us. I take care of my fur baby by understanding what his needs are based on his breed, personality, and what he tells me through his behaviors. This is so important because our companions has needs too! As a pet sitter, I want to give your pet lots of love, we could go out to nature trails and help them manage their separation anxiety by building trust and comfort and following their daily routines. I understand that each of our companions is different and it takes nurturing their needs so that they may live fruitful, healthy lives like us and that’s where I come in. I'm very patient and have a knack for understanding all walks of life which I consider to be my greatest strength! I would be honored to care for your pups. Currently, I am also a Graduate Student attending Texas State University for Recreational Therapy. My goal as a recreational therapist is to combine my creativity to help others heal! When I complete my grad program, I plan to educate others on the benefits of animal-assisted therapy. Our pup Po Bear has brought so much joy and comfort into our lives, so we love what we do. Please reach out if you have any questions, and I can't wait to connect. I am currently a grad student so I have a flexible schedule. Pet care is the perfect opportunity to fit exercise, my love for animals and my need for the outdoors into my routine. I like to build trust through play, learn their breed and behaviors, motivators, and create fun activities. I am very careful with understanding as much as I can to accommodate their needs to make them feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of whether it is modifications in my home. I will also make healthy dog friendly organic snacks!

“Amelia was an amazing sitter for my Kevin. She sent me photos and updates throughout the day. She was also flexible with my schedule and great about communication. I will definitely be using Amelia in the future!!”

“Danielle was great with my senior Maltipoo. She did provide me with text messages and pictures of how Bela was doing. She was very reassuring that Bela would be fine. I felt very comfortable with her and her fur baby Jasmine who by the way was very calm and polite with Bela their new house guest. I will definitely continue to book with Danielle when she is available. Love the fact that she works out of her home, which is extremely clean, has a fenced big yard and when you walk into her home it has a warm welcoming feel. She only takes in one client at a time and this is what I wanted so my baby wouldn't be overwhelmed by too many other pets around. Oh, and a big plus is there are no children in her home. Thanks again Danielle for being there when we needed you.”

“Calvin loved his day with Carol. He had fun with his other dog friends and also enjoyed time in the shade with Carol. We got picture updates and Calvin was so happy and well taken care of. We can’t wait for our next visit to the area, knowing that Calvin has a home away from home.”

“Ashley was great with my pup and kept her active and even worked with her a bit on a new trick! Ashley informed me how much my pup loves the water and being in it, and Merlot got to take a daily swim in her kiddie pool. She had other pups to play with during her stay and got to spend her energy well while being with Ashley so that she was nice and tired coming home to relax. I received photos and lots of videos during her stay and Ashley's communication was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Meghan is amazing!! Thank you for letting Daisy come to your home on such short time request!! Sent pics of Daisy during her stay and kept us updated that she was being shyyyy”

About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. The photos here are of the field in front of my place, where dogs can run and play (fenced in).

About: I’d set myself apart by focusing on personalized care and attention. Here’s what would make me stand out: Reliable & Attentive: I’d follow each pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable. Experience with Different Needs: Whether it’s energetic puppies needing training reinforcement or senior dogs requiring extra care, I’d tailor my approach. Enrichment & Play: I wouldn’t just watch pets—I’d engage them with games, walks, and mental stimulation. Strong Communication: Regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners feel at ease. Calm & Patient Approach: Especially helpful for anxious or rescue pets. Basic Training Reinforcement: If the owner is working on commands or house manners, I’d help maintain consistency. While going to school full time, I have opening hours pretty much all day. It aligns with my schedule at anytime of the day, while I am going to school. My approach is depending on whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. In My Home Provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with space to play and rest. Follow feeding schedules and dietary needs. Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment activities. Supervise interactions with other pets (if any). Maintain a clean and comfortable space for them. In a Client’s Home Follow the owner’s routine to keep the pet comfortable. Feed, water, and administer any necessary medication. Take dogs for walks and provide playtime. Clean up after them (litter boxes, accidents, etc.). Provide companionship to reduce stress from their owner’s absence. Send updates and pictures to the owner.

Monique O.
“We have booked Monique twice to look after our dogs. Both are rescues, and one is a nervous nelly, to the point of being scared to going out the front door. Loud noises scare him, he's got a bunch of anxiety, etc.. He warmed up to Monique probably within the first 30 minutes of her watching him, which was SO WONDERFUL and mostly solidified booking Monique again. She has a lot of experience with dogs and it shows. She is very good with sending picture, video and text updates. We will be booking her again soon to watch over our boys!”

“Thalia was great with our pup! We left Archie in her care in our home for a week. She was very respectful and responsible with our needs and requests while we were away. I highly recommend Thalia!”
