About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. About: Time and love! Recently retired with nothing but time and excitement to care for others’ beloved pets, especially because I don’t currently have any of my own. I have a large, fenced in backyard in the quiet hill country. There is a lovely trail for taking walks, and I love to take the pups for rides in the car! I’m experienced in administering and staying on top of medications and treatments. My daughter has two dogs that she sometimes brings for visits. So, if your dog is social, there is an opportunity for playtime with fellow furry friends. Caring for your pets would be my one and only priority. I spend the majority of time at home, and exercise is very important to me so I hope your dog loves to walk! Safety and affection are priority. Keeping a close eye on your pet and always making sure all needs are met is a guarantee when you put them in my care!

About: I raised my English Springer Spaniel from puppyhood till he crossed the rainbow bridge. I love dogs big and small and young and old! I've dog sat for dogs energetic and shy, adapting to their needs. I'm currently home from college for the summer and am available full-time to hang with your pets! I love spending my summers outdoors, and having your fur baby as my buddy would make it complete. I'm committed to creating a safe environment for all pets in my care. This includes making sure spaces are clean and secure, and being aware of my surroundings at all times. About: I have experience in several different areas I worked in an emergency pet hospital, animal clinic, animal shelters and spay and neuter clinics. I also grew up with constant pets. I have experience as a veterinarian technician and kennel tech (3 years). I'm currently a stay at home mom to a homeschooler so my schedule is fairly open I can always move things around if needed as I don't have to stick to a certain schedule. I have a fenced area in my backyard so your fur baby can always have a safe space to use the bathroom. If I'm coming to your house to care for your fur baby just let me know what you need me to do and I'll make sure to take care of it. I will respect your home and belongings.

“Becca is the one of the best sitters I've ever had. Besides possessing the basics: punctuality, good communication, and caring about my dog- she's gone above and beyond- especially with the training. My 75lb German Shepherd is a "puller" and it's always been a chore walking him. Gradually, Becca has been training him to walk loose on his leash. Hallelujah! She's also improved his recall and taught him new tricks like "touch." Summer afternoons in Austin are generally too hot for walking dogs. Becca came up with creative ways to exercise my boy so he could blow off some steam but still be safe in the heat. I highly recommend Becca! She's not only a fantastic walker but also a caring, humorous, and dedicated person.”

About: I’ve had pets for over 40 yrs. That included Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Potbelly Pig. I’ve always been that person that will talk to every animal I see. I’ve had my own cat & dog for 23 years total. I have experience with behavioral issues & Medical. I recently lost my soul dog whom had lots of training for behavior quirks & also vitamins/meds for medical issues as well. About: As far back as I can remember, there have been animals of all kinds in my life to love! I am experienced with all sorts of dogs, cats, farm animals, exotics, and equines. For the past 15 years I have been raising, training and showing German Shorthair Pointers. I am a member of the SAGSPC and the NGSPC. I have owned/ridden horses for 30 years. I believe that training with lots of love creates a well behaved, trusting animal companion. I currently share my small ranch with 4 horses, 3 dogs, and one spoiled cat. They are the first things I see in the morning and the last thing I see at night. I love and care for these animals that I consider family on my small acerage. In addition to exercising, grooming, entertaining, feeding, toileting, and loving on generally healthy pets, I can also care for special needs animals of all kinds. I provide the flexibility to fit you or your pet’s needs, last minute bookings, your schedule, or unforeseen circumstances. After every visit, you’ll get a detailed report with adorable photos of your pets, and notes about how things went. House sitting includes 8-12 hours overnight in your home with the option of an additional midday 30 minute drop in. Leashed walks are also an additional option. In addition to your dog or cat’s care, interaction, play time, and feeding, this service includes things like watering plants, taking out trash, bringing in mail/packages/newspapers, tidying up pet messes, extra snuggles for your pet, etc. Leashed walks are an additional service for extra active dogs. My main goal is keeping your home safe and your pet(s) happy while you are away. I treat your home with respect and care, making every effort to leave your home as you left it or better. Dog walks include 30 minutes of brisk or relaxing exercise, depending on your dog’s needs. Of course, this includes potty breaks and snuggles/playtime. Drop-ins in your home include 30 minutes of a combination of walks, exercise, potty breaks, water/food, medications, litter box cleaning, snuggles, while you are away. Additional time is an option if you need the drop in to be up to 60 minutes. Dogs staying in my home overnight (Boarding) stay for up to 24 hours beginning at 7am. They enjoy companionship, playtime, walks, toys, and exercise along with unlimited snuggles, and a calm, clean, restful environment. Above all, your pet is safe, stress-free, and happy. I do ask that you provide your pet’s food, any medication and that your pet be neutered/spayed and vaccinated. Dogs staying in my for Doggy Day Care stay for up to 8 hours beginning at 7 am. They enjoy their regular scheduled feeding, companionship, playtime, walks, toys, and exercise along unlimited snuggles, and a calm, clean, restful environment. Above all, your pet is safe, stress-free, and happy. I do ask that you send your pet’s food and that he/she neutered/spayed and vaccinated. My relaxed schedule allows for ample time with your special pet for playing, cuddles, stimulation, and socializing. I am currently available most weekdays and weekends. I have a spacious fenced yard and several spaces to contain dogs separately and safely, if needed. I feed them on their customary schedule as well as administer basic medications. (I cannot administer IV medications). I am available most days during the week and on weekends. Dogs staying with me are safe, relaxed, and content as I observe, interact, play, and monitor your pet frequently throughout the day. I have ample indoor spaces, a fenced yard, crates, and separate rooms inside my home to accommodate most dogs and cats. I always supervise, play, and stay with dogs when I have them out in the yard. Housesitting includes care in you per’s own, familiar home without interruption of his daily routine and activities.

About: I’m new to rover but I’ve done many pet sitting and pet walking jobs informally. I’ve cared for chickens, a turtle, a rat, senior dogs, big dogs, watered plants, bathed dogs, you name it! I grew up with a chihuahua so I love small yappy dogs too. Making pets happy makes me happy and I love to give personalized care! I am using Rover to supplement my income while I work for myself so I have a totally open schedule for the foreseeable future! I can accommodate all sorts of schedules I’m very patient with all pets! I know the difference between grumpy and aggressive and make sure to respect boundaries and build trust. I like to let dogs out as often as possible because fresh air is crucial! When walking I make sure to keep and eye on the dogs and maintain a shorter leash around other dogs and people, I prefer harnesses to reduce tugging at the neck, regardless, I never yank a leash! Stopping to sniff for a bit is also fine by me.

About: My family owns a company that sells to feed stores , so I grew up going to feed stores & pet stores with my dad all over Texas. I've always loved animals of all kinds. I have a cat myself, named Sashimi & I've grown up with dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, horses, goats, you name it. I've also fostered a few litters of kittens, puppies & bunnies. In college, I volunteered with a sea turtle conservation program & at the local animal shelter. I know how important a pet is & I would only trust mine with the best petsitter which is what I aim to be! I'm currently renovating a cabin so I make my own schedule & can be available when you need me. I have some weekend & holiday availability. If your pet needs someone to give them constant attention, endless games of fetch or just be there, I can do that!
