“Once again, a positive encounter with Duncan. This was a trial walk with our challenging boy, Rufus who Duncan has done several drop-in and overnight visits in the past. Will be scheduling more walking sessions with Duncan. 👍🏼”

“My dog Cleo was happy to see her after the consultation. Cleo was hesitant to go back inside because the alarm was beeping in my home. But Lindsey was able to disarm the alarm at my request and coax Cleo in. Stellar job.”

About: I am a professional interdisciplinary artist who has worked and volunteered in the animal welfare field for over 30 years. I’ve worked as a vet-tech and kennel tech in shelters, as well as smaller clinics and rescues in Massachusetts and Texas. I grew up in a household with multiple cats and dogs. I am an advocate for bully breeds, and have owned pit bulls and pit mixes through much of my adult life. I treat all cats, dogs, exotics and other animals with utmost care, love, compassion, and patience, regardless of size, breed, and behavior. I am willing to do pick-up and drop-offs should you decide to board at my place and don’t want to drive all the way to Wimberley (for cats, small and medium sized dogs only). I have a clean driving record and am fully insured. I appreciate you giving me an opportunity to care for your furry kiddos, and look forward to it. Because I work from home I have a lot of flexibility for pet care. During boardings I stay home so you needn’t worry about your pets being left unattended. I live in a spacious, 2-bedroom home , on 10 fenced acres in Wimberley. I am self-employed and work from home when I’m not doing Rover appointments. If you choose to board your pet at my place I WILL stay home, so your dogs or cats will never be left unattended. I’m very tidy and do not leave anything laying around that could be a potential hazard for your fur babies. I have 2 large dog beds which I wash between uses. Cats can lounge wherever they’d like. I have excellent heat and AC. I also have a variety of toys for cats and dogs (which also get washed and sanitized), and keep a variety of healthy snacks and (rawhide-free) chews on hand, food and water bowls, as well as a couple litter boxes (litter choice is up to you). I also have a variety of harnesses (currently only for medium and large breed dogs) leads, and dog seat belts, clip-on lights for night walks. If you prefer your pet be crated while here you will need to supply the crate. ** Photos of house and interior upon request. The photos here are of the field in front of my place, where dogs can run and play (fenced in).

About: Time and love! Recently retired with nothing but time and excitement to care for others’ beloved pets, especially because I don’t currently have any of my own. I have a large, fenced in backyard in the quiet hill country. There is a lovely trail for taking walks, and I love to take the pups for rides in the car! I’m experienced in administering and staying on top of medications and treatments. My daughter has two dogs that she sometimes brings for visits. So, if your dog is social, there is an opportunity for playtime with fellow furry friends. Caring for your pets would be my one and only priority. I spend the majority of time at home, and exercise is very important to me so I hope your dog loves to walk! Safety and affection are priority. Keeping a close eye on your pet and always making sure all needs are met is a guarantee when you put them in my care!

About: I raised my English Springer Spaniel from puppyhood till he crossed the rainbow bridge. I love dogs big and small and young and old! I've dog sat for dogs energetic and shy, adapting to their needs. I'm currently home from college for the summer and am available full-time to hang with your pets! I love spending my summers outdoors, and having your fur baby as my buddy would make it complete. I'm committed to creating a safe environment for all pets in my care. This includes making sure spaces are clean and secure, and being aware of my surroundings at all times. Although we all hope emergencies won't occur, I'm prepared to handle them responsibly with the same care I would my own pets.

“Used Isabella’s help with walking my Pup while I was out of town and was very satisfied with the service. Super punctual and always professional. Highly recommend!”

About: I have experience interning at a vet clinic, where I learned more ways to care for animals and grew my passion for pet sitting. I have cared for both puppies and elderly dogs whilst pet sitting. Alongside dog sitting, I also have experience caring for other pets, such as cats, and taking care of house plants. I have a very flexible schedule this summer and I am hoping to incorporate more pet care into my daily life! I am available weekdays and weekends. I own four dogs which I feed, bathe, take on walks, play outside with, feed. I am very experienced in taking care of dogs because of my four dogs at home. I care of others pets based on what they need from me.

About: I treat every pet like my own: with lots of love, play, and attention. I send regular updates, follow routines closely, and make sure your pet feels safe and happy while you’re away. I currently work full-time at a restaurant, which allows me a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. Additionally, I am a full-time college student starting August 25th. I’m happy to discuss and adjust minor scheduling details as needed to ensure the best care for your pets. When I care for pets at their homes, I make sure they stick to their routine and feel right at home. That means plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and lots of love. I take dogs on walks to keep them active and happy, and for cats, I keep the litter box clean and fresh. I also handle feeding, watering, and tidying up, plus I send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet’s in good hands.

About: I have experience in several different areas I worked in an emergency pet hospital, animal clinic, animal shelters and spay and neuter clinics. I also grew up with constant pets. I have experience as a veterinarian technician and kennel tech (3 years). I'm currently a stay at home mom to a homeschooler so my schedule is fairly open I can always move things around if needed as I don't have to stick to a certain schedule. I have a fenced area in my backyard so your fur baby can always have a safe space to use the bathroom. If I'm coming to your house to care for your fur baby just let me know what you need me to do and I'll make sure to take care of it. I will respect your home and belongings.

“Becca is the one of the best sitters I've ever had. Besides possessing the basics: punctuality, good communication, and caring about my dog- she's gone above and beyond- especially with the training. My 75lb German Shepherd is a "puller" and it's always been a chore walking him. Gradually, Becca has been training him to walk loose on his leash. Hallelujah! She's also improved his recall and taught him new tricks like "touch." Summer afternoons in Austin are generally too hot for walking dogs. Becca came up with creative ways to exercise my boy so he could blow off some steam but still be safe in the heat. I highly recommend Becca! She's not only a fantastic walker but also a caring, humorous, and dedicated person.”

“Ricky loved Renay. She is personable, and good with dogs. She is a vet tech, so I feel even more safe having her come and walk Ricky if I'm away. She took photos, and communicated well with me. Thank you Renay!”

About: I’ve had pets for over 40 yrs. That included Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Potbelly Pig. I’ve always been that person that will talk to every animal I see. I’ve had my own cat & dog for 23 years total. I have experience with behavioral issues & Medical. I recently lost my soul dog whom had lots of training for behavior quirks & also vitamins/meds for medical issues as well. Whether your companion is young or old, healthy or sick I guarantee I will take the best care of them. I have worked from home for years but am currently transitioning out of a career. Therefore I’m able to keep my availability very flexible & open. As a former Rover user, I know how hard it can be to find, trust, & like someone looking after your pet. Safety is #1, making sure directions are followed is key! I want them and you to be comfortable at all times.

About: “I’ve had a lifelong love of dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. Families have trusted me to provide calm, consistent, and attentive care—from daily walks to feeding, bathing, and companionship.” As a long-time teacher, I find myself with extra time in the summer to keep caring for living beings—just the furry ones now. My flexible schedule allows me to offer attentive, reliable care throughout the week, work with your needs, and be available even at odd or last-minute hours. Because I have two cats at home who love their own space, I provide care in your pet’s home—where they’re most comfortable. I treat every animal as if they were my own, earning their trust (and yours) through calm presence, consistency, and loving attention to their needs.

About: Animals have always been around in my family. The amount of love we all have for our pets is sweet and pure. To me, Rover is what makes me happy, my meditation. I am a giver so lots of love and outside play time or walks to the park are given. If medical care needs to be taken care of I am great with instructions and detail and you can trust that I will comfort them as much as possible as well as you with updates on how they are doing. I can be available to dog sit and or dog walk approximately 30 min. I have two mini Yorkies at home that are extremely friendly and fun to be around if need be. Monique O.
“We have booked Monique twice to look after our dogs. Both are rescues, and one is a nervous nelly, to the point of being scared to going out the front door. Loud noises scare him, he's got a bunch of anxiety, etc.. He warmed up to Monique probably within the first 30 minutes of her watching him, which was SO WONDERFUL and mostly solidified booking Monique again. She has a lot of experience with dogs and it shows. She is very good with sending picture, video and text updates. We will be booking her again soon to watch over our boys!”

Donna N.
“Donna is the most nurturing person I know. She has cared for people's dogs many times. She has also cared for the elderly. I highly recommend her for Rover. In fact I influenced her to set up a Rover profile because she would perfect for the job. She is one of the most trust worthy care giver and pet sitter I know.”

Aubrey B.
“Aubrey was the best when taking care of my cat. She was very communicative, flexible, and attentive when my cat was sick. She knew my cat loved going on walks and would offer to take her outside, which my cat of course loved. I would definitely recommend Aubrey to take care of your pets!!”

“I’ve seen firsthand how loving, responsible, and attentive Adri is with animals. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding them on schedule, or just giving them the attention they need, she treats every pet like her own. She’s the kind of person who notices the little things—if a dog’s acting a bit off or a cat seems stressed, she’s quick to respond with care and calm. Pets instantly warm up to her, and their happiness around her says it all. Any pet owner would be lucky to have her as their sitter or walker. She’s reliable, kind-hearted, and truly loves animals.”

“I cannot say enough about the wonderful care Lisa takes of animals. Lisa is that friend who truly understands how and where your pet fitsin your life, your family and what it means to them to feel truly loved! She totally gets it. With than understanding and her gift of a “pet whisperer” (that’s what I call her because she is so in tune with animals), she is one of the very few people I would trust to leave my tripod, Sebastian, with. She will spend the time it takes to get to know your babies, and how to care for them best, next best thing to you!”
