I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. “Arnie is incredible! He came over a few days before my first booking to meet my 2 dogs. My senior dog warmed right up to him, and my 3 year old rescue even allowed some scratches and to be held. I was able to tell they both felt safe and secure with Arnie around. My senior needs a little extra help up and down the stairs, and I’m still working on leash confidence with the 3 year old. These things didn’t faze Arnie or stand out as a problem. He was ready to tackle them head on. This made me feel safe and secure knowing my babies would be in goods hands with him. About: I took care of my shih tzu for 12 years, he recently passed of old age. I had dogs growing up but Oreo was the first that really attached to me. He whined if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me. He slept in my bed with me until he got too old to be that high up without supervision. I gave him embarassing mom haircuts for 10 years because I knew he hated the entire experience of going to the groomers and I wanted to spare him the discomfort. I was always looking for ways to make that dog more comfortable. I have experience in caring for senior dogs, so you can rest assured I will do everything I can for your senior furbabies' comfort. I'm currently working part-time weekdays caring for children but my weekends are open for watching your fur babies!! I usually wake up around 10-11am so I can be available any time after that Friday-Sunday! I always check the water after being gone to make sure there's still enough in there and that it's clean, and feed the cats 3 times a day when possible. Some days just twice usually when I have work. I am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule you have for your fur babies! I also try to brush the cats once a day to cut down on shedding. If you have brushes I am happy to give your pets all the brushin's! We also play with chew toys, cat wands, laser pointers, and socks! Whatever toys you have I'm sure we will have a blast!

I also completed my internship at an animal shelter, giving me experience with hundreds of animals. My dog is currently walked 4-5 times a day, with 2 or 3 play sessions interspersed throughout the day. We take him to the park every Saturday and his nails are trimmed every other Sunday. My cat gets 2 or 3 15 minute play sessions during the day, and her litter box is scooped nightly. She is given dry food in the morning and wet food in the evening. The care provided for my clients will revolve around what the client wants and the specific needs of the individuals. Every animal is different, and I strive to provide the care that is requested.
