These things didn’t faze Arnie or stand out as a problem. He was ready to tackle them head on. This made me feel safe and secure knowing my babies would be in goods hands with him. About: I have grown up with pets of all kinds my whole life. I have owned dogs, cats, small reptiles, rabbits, fish. I have over 25 years of Petcare/animal experience. I have professionally cared for animals for 15 years. I have worked in Petcare in a pet store caring for the in-store animals: fish, reptiles, amphibians, birds, pockets pets, insects. I have volunteered at an animal shelter. I have worked my adult career in a primary veterinary clinic, and a specialty veterinary referral hospital. I have lots of experience with cats and dogs. I have pet sat for many friends and family. I have personally rescued several senior pets- cats and dogs, and I am very comfortable with medication administration, physical ambulatory assistance, and incontinence support. I have established and maintained many personal aquarium & terrariums of my own, as well as for family & friends. I have my weekends open for time to spend and company to give for a sweet pet in need of some special attention while their owners take care of some things. I work full time at a veterinary referral hospital and am available Saturday-Sunday (all day), and currently Monday & Tuesday, and Thursday Evenings. “This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. About: I never had a dog of my own growing up, but I always had a blast watching animals for my family and friends! Taking dogs on walks and simply playing with them is so much fun. I love to be able to bond with pets and really get to know them. I’m not a professional dog trainer, however I’ve attempted to crate train and teach other simple tricks to dogs and was successful. I have experience with senior dogs as well as high energy puppies. I am able to adapt to any dogs personality to ensure they have a great time while their owner is away! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I am currently available full time, Monday-Sunday. I make sure to set aside time for walks, feeding, and playtime with the pets I care for. I also ensure they have regular check-ins and any necessary medication or grooming is done on time. I prioritize their needs around my other commitments, and I’m always flexible to adjust my schedule to accommodate their care. I am not currently able to have pets in my home, however I can travel to your home if dog sitting or an overnight stay is needed!

About: I took care of my shih tzu for 12 years, he recently passed of old age. I had dogs growing up but Oreo was the first that really attached to me. He whined if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me. He slept in my bed with me until he got too old to be that high up without supervision. I gave him embarassing mom haircuts for 10 years because I knew he hated the entire experience of going to the groomers and I wanted to spare him the discomfort. I was always looking for ways to make that dog more comfortable. I have experience in caring for senior dogs, so you can rest assured I will do everything I can for your senior furbabies' comfort. I'm currently working part-time weekdays caring for children but my weekends are open for watching your fur babies!! I usually wake up around 10-11am so I can be available any time after that Friday-Sunday! I always check the water after being gone to make sure there's still enough in there and that it's clean, and feed the cats 3 times a day when possible. Some days just twice usually when I have work. I am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule you have for your fur babies! I also try to brush the cats once a day to cut down on shedding. If you have brushes I am happy to give your pets all the brushin's! We also play with chew toys, cat wands, laser pointers, and socks! Whatever toys you have I'm sure we will have a blast!
