I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. About: I've helped take care of many dogs and cats as well as other animals within my main family and extended family for as long as I've been able to! I've helped out with puppies, kittens, and full grown pets. I also have some hands-on experience with senior care. Currently my availability is primarily within the midday stretch on most days. 11AM to 2PM. Though I can extend the earlier hours to 10AM if needed. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet has fresh water, is fed if requested, gets plenty of attention, playtime, and bathroom breaks, and I can administer basic medications if needed. I'll also provide updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. For dog walks, I prioritize safety, keeping dogs securely leashed and tailoring the pace and distance to their age, energy level, and needs. I'll make sure they get the exercise and enrichment they're used to while staying safe and comfortable. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible so they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I’ve had years of experience caring for my own dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I’m comfortable handling high energy dogs, including strong pullers, while staying patient and confident with larger breeds. I also have experience giving medications, including injections, and always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I’m currently working from home so my daily schedule is very flexible. I may need to take calls and meetings during random times of the day, but this does not effect my work office environment or pet needs. I have a fenced in yard at my home, including private spaces inside for calming time, private eating area, or one on one attention with your pet. I can provide neighborhood walks multiple times a day. I own two dogs and two cats. My dogs are experienced in meeting and sharing a space with other animals. They are up to date on their vaccines and flea and tick prevention. My cats are used to other dogs as well. I offer private space with me in my office during the work day if you would prefer your dog to not be around other pets. I can also arrange private yard time with no interactions with my pets outside as well.
