“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”

“Second time booking with Charlie, first time boarding. It was a smooth and stress-free experience. My dog seemed very happy playing with the other pups. You know your pup is always in good hands with Charlie.”

“Payten was amazing. I will definitely be using her again. It was my baby's first time being with a sitter. He is very reserved and stubborn, but he really warmed up and trusted her. That right there shows me that she is a person to be trusted. She kept me updated regularly, even sending pictures. Thank you Payten!”

“Jesse took great care of Buster and sent me several photo updates showing what a great time my boy was having! I’m grateful for Jesse’s flexibility with the last minute date change. Highly recommend.”

“Sarah makes our senior dog Brody feel right at home! Her house is perfect for a senior dog who can’t do steps very well anymore and she has a great fenced in yard. Sarah has a very calm demeanor and makes us feel less anxious when we go away knowing Brody is being so well taken care of! I highly recommend her and her son is a bonus, caring for Brody too”

“Megan took such great care of our dog! She kept us updated with photos throughout our stay and we could see how happy our pup was. Her kids were also so incredibly sweet and gentle with her! Definitely recommend and will absolutely be rebooking when we’re in need of a sitter in this area!”

“Our dog Stella had a great time with Briana & Jeremy. They took her on walks and updated us with videos and pictures during her whole stay. They had a very large fenced in yard which was nice for Stella to run around and play. Plus their two dogs were very friendly and sweet. I would definitely book with them again.”

“Our 1.5yr old puppy, Birdie, was in the very best hands with Melissa during a recent boarding! Melissa is thorough in her intake, noting Birdie's food allergies and current schedule, and is warm and gentle in helping pups acclimate to a new environment. Melissa maintained Birdie's schedule, giving her plenty of outdoor and play time, and administered Birdie's medication, giving us peace of mind to focus on family. We enjoyed the handful of photos Melissa sent along the way and always appreciate her responsive communication. Melissa is deeply professional and the most thorough and warm caretaker and our expectations are always surpassed when Birdie is with Melissa!”

“We love Catherine and her family. More importantly, our dog does too! He’s always excited to see his “other family” and loves to go on new adventures with them. We love the communication and photos, and we can always tell that Harry is well cared for and feels right at home!”

“Renee was very easy to work with! My dog seemed to enjoy her time with Renee. Renee was flexible, kind, and easy to talk to. We will definitely book with her again!!!”

“Leo loved his time with Emily! He loved exploring her property and obviously felt comfortable with her based on his behavior when dropping him off and picking him up 🙂”

“We couldn't be any happier with the care Juicy received from Charity. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and responsive, making us feel at ease leaving our furchild in her hands as we traveled. Juicy was treated like one of her own, and we appreciated how accommodating she was throughout the entire process. The pictures and videos were also a nice touch. Five stars without a doubt!”

“David provided loving care and excellent communication for our two dogs during their week long stay. We would highly recommend David and you can be confident of excellent care and communication.”

“Donna and Scott are AMAZING. We needed a last minute sitter and they welcomed our pup with open arms. Our dog is very nervous and barked when he arrived, but Donna and Scott knew exactly what to do to make him feel comfortable and at home. They sent multiple pictures of our dog at their house, and I had no doubt he was in the best hands. Thank you again for your flexibility, patience, and love for our dog!”

“I have an older min pin that hasn’t ever been away from me with someone she hasn’t known before. When I brought her over for a visit before the booking, I knew immediately my baby was going to be taken care of and would be safe. I got a bunch of pictures and videos of my baby girl and I could tell she was being taken care of as if it were me. I would recommend Min & Matt to family and friends, which says a ton about the way they took care of her.”

“Once again, Cindy was the best! My dog was happy to see Cindy. She treats my dog like one of the family. She makes sure she’s fed, walked, and sends me pictures and a note. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Cindy is the best!!”

“I cannot thank Michelle and her family enough for watching Bella multiple times! Michelle is great with sending pictures, and keeping me updated as to how she is doing, Of course Bella loves to cuddle with the entire family as well. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Lejune is a godsend. She accepted me as a new customer on short notice. Kept in touch with me over the time she kept my 6month old Poodle. She followed the instructions I left regarding feeding and potty schedules. She sent many pictures showing how the stay was going. My pup was very happy and healthy when I picked him up. 10/10 would recommend !”

“Barbara did a wonderful job caring for our dog. She provided daily photo updates and consistent communication, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I would absolutely book Barbara again and highly recommend her.”

Dimitri has been nothing short of AWESOME with Snow. This was a long stay so we were nervous, but we got pictures everyday which made us feel comfortable and snow looked so happy in all the pictures aswell. We really appreciate Dimitri and will definitely book again when we need the help.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
