This made it very difficult for us to go on vacations since finding a sitter would be difficult. We reached out to Austin, explained the situation, and asked if he could come by every couple of weeks for the dog to get used to him, and he said he'd be happy to help us. The plan worked and, after several visits, we were able to go on a five day vacation! Austin cared for the dogs each day, showed up on time, sent pictures and notes, and even said he and the dog had bonded by the end! We recommend and will definitely use Austin in the future.”

About: I’ve loved being around animals for as long as I can remember! Throughout college, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs while they were away and have also kitten sat, giving me experience with both dogs and cats. Growing up, I had a dog with diabetes, so I’m comfortable administering insulin and understand the importance of following a pet’s care routine closely. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly home with plenty of room for your pet to relax and explore. I just moved home from college and while my parents aren’t quite ready for the long-term commitment of having a pet of our own, I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, caring, and fun temporary home for your furry family member through Rover! I’m currently working in person on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and have the rest of the days of the week to play with your furry friends! Your pet will have plenty of space to feel comfortable and stay active during their stay! My home has a large backyard and front yard, providing lots of room for supervised outdoor time and play. Inside, my home also offers plenty of space for pets to relax, explore, and feel at home.

About: I have been taking care of all sorts pets, of all age ranges, since I was 11, whether it was neighbors, friends or co-workers, people have always relied on me to give adequate care such as playtime, feeding, walks and overall just keeping their beloved pet company! Thanks to so many wonderful recommendations from pet owners, my services have grown and now through Rover, I can reach even more pets who deserve a little extra love! I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! I have my own car so commuting will not be a hassle. I may not be able to stay at the house 24/7 but will be able to exceed expectations of adequate care. I will let your dog out a minimum of three times a day, and clean your cats litter box a minimum of twice a day. Give me any instructions for feeding and I will be right on time and do whatever it takes to make sure they are healthy and fed! I play with your furry friends until they are all tuckered out and am willing to do anything to give your pet a comfortable and fun experience!

About: What sets me apart is that I don’t treat all pets the same. I adjust my care based on their age, personality, and comfort level. With dogs, I’m attentive to routines, energy levels, and basic training reinforcement—especially for puppies who need consistency, patience, and supervision. I understand how important structure is at that stage and make sure rules are followed, not ignored. With cats, I respect boundaries. I know when to engage and when to give space, which helps reduce stress—especially for shy or anxious cats. I’m also very mindful with senior pets. I move at their pace, pay close attention to behavior changes, and follow care instructions carefully, including medications, feeding schedules, and mobility needs. Above all, I treat every pet like an individual, not a checklist. My goal is for owners to feel confident that their pet is not just cared for, but understood. I currently work, but I’m also needing extra money for my daughter and I.. and what better way to earn it? We both love animals! My schedule is flexible as I am a manager @ my other position. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether they’re in my home or yours. I know consistency is what keeps pets calm and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect the space and the pet’s established habits—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter care, and any special instructions are followed carefully. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, and energy levels so I can spot changes early and communicate them right away. In my home, pets are kept in a clean, calm, and supervised environment. Dogs get appropriate exercise and structured downtime, while cats have quiet areas where they can feel safe and unbothered. I never force interaction and always prioritize comfort and safety. For puppies and seniors, I provide extra supervision, patience, and care. Puppies get consistent reinforcement of routines, while senior pets are allowed to move at their own pace with close attention to mobility, medications, and comfort. No matter the service, I treat every pet as an individual and make sure owners receive regular updates so they feel confident their pet is in good hands.
