“Rilea is awesome! She was able to accommodate a drop-in visit for my pup on a last minute booking and she is very communicative and so good and sweet to my baby. 🥹 Absolutely recommend her!! Happy to have her and will definitely be booking with her again in the future. ☺️☺️”

“Thank you so much for watching Oliver and Allie!!! Lindsay has been absolutely amazing!!! I have felt so comfortable being away from home knowing she were taking such good care of them!! We will definitely reach out to her again if we need her! I definitely recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs!!!”

About: I’ve loved being around animals for as long as I can remember! Throughout college, I’ve cared for friends’ dogs while they were away and have also kitten sat, giving me experience with both dogs and cats. Growing up, I had a dog with diabetes, so I’m comfortable administering insulin and understand the importance of following a pet’s care routine closely. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly home with plenty of room for your pet to relax and explore. I just moved home from college and while my parents aren’t quite ready for the long-term commitment of having a pet of our own, I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, caring, and fun temporary home for your furry family member through Rover! I’m currently working in person on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and have the rest of the days of the week to play with your furry friends! Your pet will have plenty of space to feel comfortable and stay active during their stay! My home has a large backyard and front yard, providing lots of room for supervised outdoor time and play. Inside, my home also offers plenty of space for pets to relax, explore, and feel at home.

“Grave was the kindest professional caregiver we’ve ever had — sadly our sweet Ellie passed away on the second day of our trip — she hadn’t been sick and we will never know what happened but Grace handled a very difficult situation with such care and concern. She made sure Kai was cared for everyday knowing he had lost his companion, Thank you, Grace!”

“This was my first time using Rover because I had kittens under the vaxx age that can't be boarded. Valeria was very trustworthy from first meeting to meet my 5 cats and go over their needs. She followed the instructions for each different animal , inside vs outside , food type and quantity , and checked litter robot daily. Great set of pictures and report card daily. And to top it off, she took my holiday drop in booking 3 days before the holiday weekend. The reason she has nothing short of 5 stars is she's a professional, and she knows her business attending to unoccupied homes requires the trust she has built from these reviews.”

“I couldn’t have found a better person to drop-in on my dog to let her out and play! My dog is always happy to meet new people, but she was on a whole different level of excitement when she first met Julie! Julie is responsive to messages and follows instructions/requests left for her to a T. I’m so grateful I found someone I can fully trust with my dog when they drop-in and not stress about the what-ifs!”

“AMAZING! I cannot recommend Barbara enough, she was so sweet and kind to our Chowpei, I booked her last minute due to a family vacation mishap that turned out to be an emergency event. Barbara was always on time trustworthy and spent time with Charlotte. It was truly one less thing I had to worry about. I would give her 6 stars if I could. 🙏🏼❤️”

“Zoe did a great job watching Nathan. She was punctual, attentive and a good communicator. She was on time for all visits and sent photos every drop in. She was very responsive in a timely manner. We really enjoyed working with her and will definitely be booking again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of animals of all sorts since I was a teenager. Dogs, cats, Rabbits, and goats and the list goes on. With my ten years of experience I have gotten to love and care for so many animals. I strive to provide the best care for all animals. I currently have a lot of free time and want to utilize that free time to play or entertain your pets. I am available most days of the week and weekends. I always pay close attention to your pups as if they are my own. I have two dogs at home, and a cat. I can walk your dog as much as they need and make sure they are getting optimal care.
“I highly recommend Carlie! This was my second time working with her and my 14 year old dog Jameson genuinely enjoys his time with her. He can be picky with who he warms up to and between the frequent update pictures I received (and the fact he didn’t rush to leave when I picked him up ha) I could tell he was in good hands during his time with her. Always appreciative of her communication and reliability, I’ll continue to book with Carlie for any of Jameson’s dog sitting needs!”

“Veronica took care of our 4 dogs for 10 days and did a wonderful job. She was always on time, kept us updated on how the gang was doing and made sure each pet stayed on their routine. We received many pics of the pets and you could see everyone was well taken care of during our trip. Will definitely use Veronica in the future!”

About: I am an avid animal lover! I have always owned a pet (dogs/cats) and couldn't imagine my life without one! I worked at a kennel for 4 years and I've always pet sit for friends. I started pet sitting professionally 4 years ago. I had a beagle who was almost 16 years old so I have lots of experience with senior dogs. Now I have a puppy so I’m definitely used to puppies! I don't do pet sitting just for a job. I do pet sitting because animals are truly my passion. What is more fun than playing with precious doggies to and loving on them and receiving their unconditional love! It's very rewarding. I treat your pets as I would want mine treated! I will send you pics and/or videos of your baby while you are away also. I look forward to meeting you!
About: I have experience caring for animals including dogs of all ages (senior to puppy), cats, goats, chickens, and even gerbils. I am able to work with you to meet the needs of all pets. You can enjoy your vacation knowing your home and pets will be in good hands with me. On the weekends I am available (for the most part) to be at home full time. During the weekdays I am able to care for pets in the morning, come check in at lunch, then for the entire evening/night. I treat both pets and the homes that I am in just like I would my own - with love, respect, and integrity. You can count on me to follow all instructions left for me exactly as they are written.
“Christina took good care of my cat, Reno. She made sure he stayed watered and fed while I was out of town for over a week. I'd recommend her to anyone who needs their pet tended to.”

“Jose was such a great care giver to my dog Mack! He took great care of him, posted pictures and called with a concern. Jose took the time to come visit Mack twice prior to me being out of town and it made Mack very comfortable with him. I will definitely use Jose again!”

Thank you so much Maddy! I know Titus was a little scared and hid from you. But I appreciate you stopping in and trying to engage. You are so sweet, attentive and prompt that I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet baby while away.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Raymond. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
