About: Hey! I'm Sadie. I've lived in West Asheville for about 4 years now. I'm a former overnight pet sitter and dog trainer/handler at Evolutionary K9 in North GA. As well as a former Kennel Tech at a Daycare/Boarding & Grooming spot in Black Mountain. I have taken classes on Dog Cognition + Emotion through Duke University. I love animals and have my own 9 year old Siberian Husky who I spend most of my time with when I'm not working. I've been in animal care this for roughly 10 years. About: I genuinely love animals, and spending time with them never feels like work to me. I’m an active person who loves walks and playtime with energetic pups, but I’m equally happy giving a cat some quiet company and affection or simply respecting the space of a pet who prefers to do their own thing. While I’m new to offering services through Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I’ve cared for pets through TrustedHousesitters, including cats, active dogs, and senior pets with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m also happy to share reviews from my previous sits. I’m a pet mom myself to Daisy, our sweet, social, and playful Golden Retriever. We’re not looking to add another pet to our family right now, but Daisy loves other dogs, so welcoming a friendly pup into our home gives her a chance to make new friends and enjoy some meaningful playtime too. I primarily work as a gigging musician on weekends, so I tend to keep most of my bookings to weekdays. If I’m available for weekend boarding, my husband is also home and helps with pet care, so your pup will still have plenty of company and attention. My Rover calendar will always reflect my current availability! We have a spacious home with plenty of room for pets to relax and play, including a puppy-proofed area where dogs can safely hang out and make themselves at home. We also have a large yard that is currently unfenced, so dogs are always supervised and leashed outside. We’re having a fence installed soon! Our sweet, social Golden Retriever puppy, Daisy, loves other dogs and would be thrilled to welcome a friendly pup for a stay and playdate. We live on a quiet little street that’s great for walks, and I’m also happy to load up the pups for longer adventures at nearby parks, greenways, and trails. “We left our dog Molly with Kay and Zada after she didn’t get along with another dog on our trip. So the stay was very last minute and we were very anxious about the situation. Kay and Zada were both so sweet and accommodating that we felt a ton of relief leaving Molly with them. Our dog can be temperamental when first meeting a new dog and Zada rolled with her style! Kay was also very obviously comfortable with and knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language. We really appreciated how she worked to make sure we were all comfortable before we left. Kay let Molly play with some of Zada’s toys and offered to give her Zada’s food as well! Zada was very cool with Molly laying on her bed and playing with her toys - she is such a cool dog! When we picked our dog up, she was being very lovey with Zada and gave Kay lots of attention. This made it obvious that Kay took amazing care of our dog and that she and Zada became good buddies! We cannot recommend Kay and Zada enough, they are an amazing duo! Communication was great and Kay was so flexible with our schedule! We will be leaving our dog with them anytime we’re in the area!”

About: I am a volunteer firefighter and a full time nanny. I have watched dogs since I was 13 years old and I have had dogs all of my life. I love all kinds of animals. Right now I have 2 dogs a 45 pound husky and a 90 pound American bulldog red boon coon hound mix. I also have three rescue cats and two bunnies one of my bunnies is a rescue bunny. My schedule is very flexible so I can work around the routine you already have set up for your dog. I can also work on house braking your dogs for you. I would like to know if your dog has any behavior problem, what thier normal routine is, what activities they like, what things they are scared of, if they have any health problems, and if they are up to date on shots and flea meds. I work Monday threw Friday 8-5 I’m not normally available during those hours to let animals out. I only work those hours during that time I keep my eyes on them at all times well they are outside and when going in and out the doors. Safety is to priority
