“Cordell was super helpful! He allowed me to extend my pet's stay on very short notice, which was absolutely incredible. He was very patient with my rescue dog and sent photos of her to let me know she was doing alright. I did have some issues with her having an allergen on her upon pickup, but that subsided quickly. When there was a mixup in regards to the amount of food left with her, Cordell let Jade have some of his dog's food, which was very appreciated on my end. Thank you for opening your heart and home to my dog Cordell!”

“Friendly and communicative. Gave update every day. Very accomodating, I needed my two very anxious dogs to be watched for 10 days on short notice. The dogs actually pouted when Matthew went back inside, so I know they enjoyed his company very much.”

“I would come back! Tre is caring, sweet and you can tell Mayzie enjoyed her time with Tre and Mocha. Sometimes delay in message responses, but never late. Trè was flexibile and easy to work with.”

“Julia is simply awesome. We had her watch our two dogs while we had to make an overnight trip to Statesboro. They feel in love with her right away. Animals can sense when people are good people and with Julia they knew. They had complete run of the house including hanging out on the couch and the beds. Hey and her roommate each had one puppy that slept with them she kept us updated and sent pictures. If you are looking for a dog sitter. I will so vouch for her and great loving attitude. You will not be disappointed.”

“Gingi is awesome! We feel so thankful to have found her through Rover. Communication was excellent from the start. We got so many cute pics and videos of our dog while we were away. We will definitely be using Gingi again!”

“What a wonderful person to trust with my pets while traveling. Xionella is a very gentle and caring pet sitter. Both of my small dogs stayed with her for almost a week and were relaxed and happy on pickup day. She sent frequent updates and some of the most cute pictures I have ever seen of my pups. I recommend booking with Xionella and I know I will for my next trip.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Amelia, not only because she could take care of Doggy during Christmas Holidays, which is not really easy to get, but also because she is the most amazing pet lover you could ever find. Doggy wouldn’t have been happier and more comfortable than he was while staying with Amelia, she treated him as a pet of hers, with the same love and dedication just as much as with her own pets. During our days out of the country, Amelia kept us updated everyday regarding Doggy’s activities and mischief, she shared with us pictures and videos, we realized that fortunately Doggy was not missing us at all!! Thank you Amelia!”

“When I say that Caylei is amazing, I really mean that. My cat, Tim, has special needs and can be temperamental/ really grumpy, at times. He has been fired from several boarding facilities for his bad attitude. Well, Caylei was willing to take him on and not only that, her care and patience was rewarded with a super happy cat all week! I am truly so thankful to have found her. She sent me updates, photos, and videos while I was gone, which really helped ease my mind. We have a few other trips planned that I wasn't sure we would be able to take if Tim misbehaved for her, too, but everything went significantly better than I ever hoped. Caylei is smart, caring, knowledgeable, and very competent in pet care, even in special circumstances. I can't recommend her enough.”

“I know I've found a good dog sitter when my puppies come back tired and happy! They were excited to see me for five minutes but bored as soon as we got home! They were already missing playing on Adrienne's farm! I have already booked their next stay and we will continue to use Adrienne in the future!”

About: Over the years, I have had 10 regular canine clients, 4 cats, two birds and countless one-time and occasional ones. I have lived in Athens thirty-three years and currently serve on the executive board of the ARK and on an advisory board for Georgia United Credit Union. I was a (human) CPR/First Aid (American Red Cross and National Safety Council) instructor for 21 years and I have taken dog and cat first aid courses. Pet care, to me, means helping the owner have no worries while they are away. It means giving the best pet care possible. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs especially ones with arthritis and hip dysplasia. I have experience with dogs with fear aggression. I will always make sure your mail and packages are secured and make sure your trash can is rolled out / put back. I care for your home and pets the way I want mine cared for. For the time being I can only accept short term (up to two weeks) jobs— dog walking and drop-in visits. I have a maximum number of full time jobs currently. I am punctual by nature and a good person to ask on short notice. Available Mon-Fri and many weekends. Generally, I do not charge for cancellations. Life happens. So unless you live several miles away and I am already en route, it’s not a problem for me. My availability calendar is always accurate well into the future. My yard is not currently fenced, so I will always be with your dog when we are outside (there is a leash law in Clarke county). I get to know them so I can learn their nuances and personalities. I am affectionate with animals taking into consideration their comfort level. My wife is usually around to give extra affection.
