About: Hi! I’m Sue, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 6 years—starting with family, friends, and referrals, and now expanding to help more pet parents through Rover. I currently have a one year old sweet Labrador Retriever with a heart condition, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs who need extra attention or medication. I’ve also raised puppies as young as 8 weeks and have experience with both dogs and cats of all kinds. Whether it’s playtime, walks, administering meds, or just relaxing and keeping your pet company, I’m happy to follow their routine and comfort level. I’m comfortable with all types of dogs—as long as they’re not aggressive and are okay with someone new in their space. If your pet needs medication (oral or topical), I can handle that with care and calm. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll always treat them like my own. I have plenty of availability during the week and some on weekends. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly and make sure I’m available to meet your pet’s needs! When I’m caring for pets in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I do my own. I follow your routines closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or just making sure your pet has company and comfort while you’re away. I always prioritize safety, whether it’s making sure doors are secure, checking that your pet’s collar/harness fits properly for walks, or being mindful of any specific needs or sensitivities your pet may have. During dog walks, I avoid busy or unsafe areas and pay close attention to your dog’s body language and comfort level. I’m also happy to give updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident while your pet is in my care. Clear communication and respect—for both your pets and your home—are very important to me.

About: I've been around dogs since I was 5 years old. I have walked, played with, fed, cleaned up after them having accidents when they are older or as a puppy. I've cared not only for mine but also friends dogs while they are out of town. We has a puggle for 15 years, which passed away. Looking for a way to be with animals and get that interaction and loving in with your member of the family. That's how all of our animals were that I've had, they are family. Let me help make your time away from your precious family member be much more relaxed by knowing that he or she is being well taken care of. I send photos to my friends of their dogs when they are gone, so they know that they are doing fine and it makes them happy to see their dogs too. Look forward to meeting you! I currently work part time, so I had plenty of time to care for your pets. Just let me know how I can help make your time away from them easier. Our kids are grown and out of the house too, so have plenty of love to pour into your loved one. I am a nurse by profession, so know how to care for others and I'm no stranger to caring for older animals as we had a 14 year old cat and a 15 year old dog that we loved and cared for their whole lives and will continue to miss them for the rest of ours.

About: I’m a certified veterinary assistant and I currently work as a kennel attendant and pet care employee. I take classes at Reynolds community college and in high school, i was apart of the veterinarian science center. I have experience with all animals including cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, ferrets, and amphibians. I foster animals and I take pride in what I do. I’m determined to break the stereotype that teens aren’t good workers. I’m not squeamish about poop, vomit, or bugs if you have a reptile in need of a snack! I currently have pets of my own including a bearded dragon, a dog, two rabbits, a hamster, hermit crabs and fish. If you have a dog who pulls on a leash, no need to worry I’m strong, and learned the proper techniques. If you have a cat or dog with separation anxiety, don’t worry. Any animal is welcome to sleep on my bed. Please ask any questions about your specific pets and I’ll be sure to get back to you. I take online classes. I am free all weekdays and weekends. I do work some mornings during the weekend so let me know and i’ll clear my schedule for your pet! If your pet is staying at my house, I’ll be sure to provide the proper care. Reach out to me and we can talk about your specific pets/species. If you have a dog he/she is more than welcome to sleep in my bed and I will provide walks in the morning and night. A meet and greet is required since I have a dog. My dog gets along with anyone but I’d like to see if they’ll be a good match. My family’s always home and your dog will never be alone. As for daily check ins, I’ll check on your pet at home and provide the proper care, including walks. If i’m staying at your house, I’m respectful to other people’s property. I understand what it’s like being away from your pet and I won’t shy away if you have cameras in your home.

“Wow! What a great cat carer! Regan took the time to try & engage my shy boy kitties & was very successful! Other car caters have not been successful, or even tried much? Second, my return flight was postponed from Sunday to Tuesday, & Regan gracefully agreed to add more visits, which is a huge relief!!! Regan also thought to ask about trash pickup ( where to move the can). Another versatile factor is my rush of emails regarding changes when the house cleaner came. About: I've taken care of dogs for years, and I'm absolutely ecstatic to meet you and your furry friend! I started out by accompanying my mom on her Rover assignments while in school. We also welcomed Trixie to the family, a 3-year-old mini petite Goldendoodle with a taste for blueberries. Now that I've moved cities, I'm interested in helping others with their furry loved ones. I'm a remote worker, so my flexibility is unmatched. I also enjoy outdoor and active activities, especially when the weather's nice. Thanks for your consideration! I'm a full-time employee for a remote-based, nonprofit news organization, and I'm based in Richmond, VA. I work an early shift (7am-3pm EST), but I have flexibility all day long. Pets under my care have access to a furry-tastic care kit, which includes a water bottle and bowl, snacks, toys, peanut butter and more.
