“Highly Recommend! The Best Dog Walkers You Can Find! Look no further—these are the people you want to welcome into your home to walk your dog! From the moment I started fostering (and likely will fail to give them up!) my new furry friend, I knew I needed someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy to help with walks while I’m working long shifts. And I truly lucked out when I found them! They are responsive, communicative, and go above and beyond in every way possible. You can see their genuine love for dogs in everything they do. It’s not just about the walk, it’s about making sure your pup is happy, safe, and well taken care of. Whether it’s playing, giving extra attention, or sending me updates after each walk, they make me feel completely at ease. I also love how they treat my home with the utmost respect, always following instructions and being so considerate of my space. They truly embody the meaning of “dog lovers” and I’m so grateful to have found them. If you want peace of mind knowing that your dog is in great hands and your place is treated with care, these are the dog walkers you need. I hesitate to leave this review because I want to keep them all to myself, but they absolutely deserve all the praise! ⭐️”

About: Hi, I'm Ash! I've grown-up and taken care of dogs & cats of ever kind since I was a child. I've always been the trusted fur "auntie" for my family, my friends and my neighbors when they needed an extra hand taking care of thier pets. I own my own hair & makeup company that allows me to build my own schedule. I have flexible availability during the week for walks, feedings and cuddles! I work most Saturdays for a few hours in the morning, but I am available in the evenings and most Sundays are completely open. I offer in-home pet-sitting services, so your pets can stay comfortable in their own environment while you're away. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or just providing some company and cuddles, I treat every pet like they're my own. I'm responsible, respectful of your home, and committed to making sure your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I’m here to provide peace of mind while you're gone!

“Caitlin was a total lifesaver! She took great care of our big boy last weekend while we were out of town. If you are looking for professional and reliable dog sitter Caitlin's your girl! ”

“Our pup fell in love with Katie right away! Katie was excellent communicating with us throughout the process of booking and during her daily walks. Hope to see her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, lizards & birds since I was 8 years old. I have a passion for working with animals as I myself have a cat & know how much I worried when I recently went on vacation and used Rover for the first time. I had a great experience with my sitter and am hoping to offer the same services that can tailor you & your loved ones needs! I work a full time position that allows me to be flexible in how I schedule my days and where I will be without needing permission from a supervisor. I can create a schedule that works for you and your loved one that works for me as well. I believe meet and greets before services begin are necessary. I also know proper ways of introducing myself to animals like bending down, holding out hand, etc. I let animals come to me, as I have had an aggressive dog in the past, and know how to handle them.

About: I have been given the opportunity to have taken care of over 20+ animals from the minute I’ve been born. I’ve held responsibility in most recent years of my 2 dogs and 4 cat household. Additionally, I graduated high school while doing a 2 year program that taught me all of the foundational skills of a veterinary job. From pesky medicine administration to skillful handling and training. I would be more than happy to help out a new puppy struggling to use the bathroom in the correct location or even a senior dog with the same problem! As I have just graduated from high school, I have all the time in the world to provide the best care for you and your furry (or furless) friend. At the moment I am taking care of 3 cats back at home. In my house, our cats are great adventurers. We have allowed them the opportunity to explore the world, but also provide them with a gentle and inviting place they are always welcome to come home to. I administer daily morning and night oral doses for my 12 year old cat, Mr. Cuddles. If your furry friend, dog or cat, needs medication, you can trust I’ll provide the dosage they need. To keep you and them as happy and safe as possible. The right way.

About: I love all cats, and enjoy playing with dogs too! I can't wait to spend time with your babies. I love to walk, so walking your dog in your neighborhood is great! I have experience with giving oral medication and eye drops to cats. I am available to visit your pets in the daytime as well as evenings. I have a flexible schedule. I am a trusted pet companion, and I will give them lots of love! I will take care to leave everything in its place in your home. I will communicate in a timely manner and give you updates on your pets.

“Heidi took very good care of my little Corgi while I was out of town. Heidi showed up every day, sent me photos of her walking Tubbers, and made good friends with Tubbers. Tubbers will miss Heidi. You can trust Heidi to take good care of your pet.”

“Andreea is always on time and our dog loves his walks with her. She sends plenty of pictures and videos of the walks so you know how your dog is doing. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. I’ve taken care of dogs as young as puppies and of senior age. I’m especially well versed with young dogs who may need extra care with training. I’m currently working a job full-time, but the hours are pretty flexible and I also work from home. My work day gives me time to go on walks and run errands when needed. I like to make sure they are leashed properly before they begin their walk, and well equipped with potty bags. I also like to make sure that if other dogs are present, we wait for them to pass or maintain a safe distance before continuing our walk.

“Madison is so wonderful! She is very responsive and reliable. She sent detailed updates of her walk with Rocket, and we truly appreciate her calm energy and kind care! I feel completely confident leaving Rocket in her capable trust. She's part of our family now!”

About: I am incredibly passionate about caring for animals and it brings me great joy and peace to be around them. I have been around pets since I was little and have worked with them all throughout my life, including walking, house sitting, and volunteer work at kennels. I am currently a senior in high school, graduating in 2025, so gigs up until May will be less flexible! This summer is the most flexible time for me to work! I have two adorable dogs in my home, a labradoodle and an australian shepherd. They get plenty of love and attention from me, including baths, brushing, and lots of walks! My australian shepherd is nearing the end of his life, so my family and I are doing our best to take care of him and give him the extra attention he needs.

About: I've had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. I have helped family and friends with walking and sitting their dogs. I have two cats of my own, named Dunkin' and Donut after my favorite coffee. I would love to help you out with your fur-baby by dropping in to give them some company or taking them for a walk. Please consider me when looking for a sitter or walker! I am currently employed full-time, M-Th. However, my work day starts at 10am, leaving me with open mornings perfect for drop-ins or walks! Thursdays are my remote days, which leaves me with more availability for care opportunities as well. I do not work on Fridays and have plenty of time available for your pet care needs! I can provide you peace of mind that your pet is cared for and thriving by giving you updates (cute pictures included). Any pet-specific instructions that are necessary for taking care of your pet will be followed in great detail to ensure they are getting the best care and attention possible.

I treat your pet and home with total respect, just like I’d want someone to do for me. Whether you need a daily walk or drop-in visits, I’d love to help give your pet attention, care, and love while you’re away. 🐶🐾 Serving both areas of Waynesboro, VA and Richmond, VA. I have a flexible schedule with availability during mornings, variable evenings, and weekends, which allows me to give pets the attention and consistency they need. Whether it’s a midday walk or a weekend drop-in, I prioritize being dependable and communicative for pets and their people. Whether in my home or yours, I treat pets like family — with patience, respect, and intention. I follow all care instructions closely and take time to understand each pet’s unique routines, preferences, and personalities. In a client’s home, I ensure pets feel comfortable in their own space while maintaining cleanliness, boundaries, and security (like locking doors and checking gates). If I care for pets in my home, they’ll have a calm, cozy environment with limited noise, no other pets, plenty of cuddles, and structured downtime. Safety is always at the top of my mind — I never leave pets unattended outside, and I’m careful with food, toys, and household hazards. I also provide regular updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and enjoyed taking care of them along with others pets. They are the highlight of my life and I have the biggest heart for animals. I have always watched neighborhood or family friend’s pets from as young as I can remember. I have volunteered and fostered both cats and dogs and done pet setting frequently. I am currently doing online school so I am very free throughout the daytime and evenings. I am currently not working and am devoted to taking care of others animals. I am very aware of my surroundings and put animals safety as my number one priority. I will always go above and beyond to ensure safety for the pet.

He has lovingly helped raise three dogs, 3 guinea pigs, and 8 cats, and successfully rescued and nursed back to health 1 turtle, 1 baby squirrel, and multiple frogs.
