Kristin was absolutely the best! Goose got so excited each day I dropped him off. Kristin was flexible with my changing work schedule and so loving towards my sweet boy. Will definitely be using her to care for my pup again.

BOOCHI’S FIRST DAY AT DAYCARE 🐶 All I can say is WOW... I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Monti! When it comes to loving on your fur baby & making them feel at home away from home, Monti is an absolute ANGEL!!! When we first met for our meet and greet last week, it was abundantly clear that Monti and her husband truly love and understand dogs. At first, I was hesitant to book my pup, Boochi, for his first day at daycare because he tends to be a bit picky and kinda anxious sometimes, but Monti and her hubby made him feel completely at home right away – it was like Boochi was part of their family! ❤️ Yesterday was Boochi’s first day at daycare, and he was initially a little nervous when I dropped him off… he wasn't sure whether to follow me or stay with Monti. Fortunately, Monti is a PRO with dogs, and she was SO on top of his care plan – you can tell that she honestly loves and cares about the dogs she watches. From bringing out an entire room full of toys to streaming Boochi's fave comfort cartoon, Monti went MUCH further than the extra mile to make sure that he was comfortable and content… and did I mention how well-fed Boochi was? Not only did she make him his fave lunch, but she even sent him home with cheerios and some leftover chicken with broth! Throughout the day, Monti sent me adorable photos and videos, as well as regular updates with cute little stories about Boochi’s first day at daycare – which really put my mind at ease while I was away… it was clear that Boochi was bonding with Monti, having an awesome time, and getting LOTS of love, attention, and “sugars” (aka kisses). Later, when I arrived for pick-up, Boochi almost didn’t want to leave… he was happy, totally relaxed, and sorta tired from his fun, eventful day – which is always a good sign! In fact, Boochi barely ran over to me because he had become SO comfortable with Monti! Ultimately, Boochi’s first day at daycare couldn’t have gone better! I’m SO glad we found Monti and her husband, and we will definitely be booking again ASAP… it’s such a relief to know that we’ve finally found someone that we can trust with our baby boy! For anyone seeking a warm, caring, professional, and reliable sitter who goes above and beyond to treat your fur baby like family, I HIGHLY recommend booking with Monti… and don’t just walk – RUN!!! 🐾

Christianna is wonderful! They are great with Copper, and she is usually always available late notice! I always receive pictures during the stay, and updates on food and potty breaks. Copper is always very excited when we arrive at Christianna's house, and he is always so happy when I pick him up. I would definitely recommend Christianna!!

About: I have been a babysitter for over 20 years. Most of the families I worked with had pets, dogs or cats. I have had cats of my own over the years but now I help my mom take care of her 2 dogs. I recently moved to Newport News so I have a completely open schedule. I am already cooking fresh food for my mom's dogs and walking them regularly. Come join us. I prepare meals for my mom's dogs weekly. I research foods they can and cannot have to make sure they are happy and healthy. I also walk them 3 times a day minimum. There is a dog park on the premises but they mostly just sniff around :).

About: I grew up on a farm in Ohio taking care of all sorts of animals. Being a Dog Mom myself I know the daily stress and worries that come through your head while you're busy days take over your schedule. We make bath time fun, or at least try our best! Every dog has their own personalities and needs throughout the day- am here for them and you! My constant goal is to provide the security to you and fun to your fur babes at any time because I understand life isn't 9-5 and your needs cant be confined. I have an open yard and an open floor plan house for all the zoomie needs. We are a walkable distance to the Experimental forest for short or long winded walks. I have space for crates and a large crate for use if needed. My babe Zoe will keep great company to your pet and share all of her toys. Your pet will be so loved however you want to utilize my service opportunities!

We are so appreciative of Ricardo and his family opening up their home for our dogs. Taking it slow and making sure they have a good time while we are getting settled into our new house. We get pictures and updates throughout the day and our dogs are so excited to get there to spend the day. Very grateful to have found them nearby to us.

About: I am a true animal lover. I have a level of empathy for pets that most people think is crazy. Your pet is part of your family and will be part of mine as well. I have a lot of love to give. I am more then happy to accept a million phone calls and texts because I know top care is important. I am patient and understanding and take the time to help with house breaking and learn new tricks. I use to breed Siberian huskies. That is one of the most energetic and mischevious breeds out there. I help with a local rescue in rehoming and donations. I am also actively involved with helping take strays to local vets and following up with owners. My family consists of me, my husband and our five children. There is always someone to give love and attention. We keep our own pets somewhat on a schedule and we play a lot in our back yard. I have a large fenced in yard and three very active dogs who enjoy to play. I also have 5 indoor cats. I can easily crate if needed.

About: I'm a high school math teacher and my wife works from home full time. Looking to watch after your little guys so we don’t have to get another one. Our dog Penny, has recently passed however we would like to keep her pictures and memory alive on this profile*. Most days I'm up early and dont mind being active and taking morning walks. Experience wise ive taken care of neighbors cats and dogs as a teen and have had 2 dogs myself over my adult years as well as turtles if you care about that. Dropping off your pet at my place seems like the best but I'm open to stopping by your place if need be. One of us is almost always at home full time to care for your pup. My wife loves snuggles and always looking for another blanket buddy We have a large yard and one friendly toddler looking for her next best friend. Overall it is a quiet home with lots of space.

About: As a stay at home and home school mom there is usually always someone home to love and play with our (your) animals. We have two daughters (17 & 15) and one son (10). *I’ve recently updated this profile to include the following: As an owner to two small dogs myself, I understand the worry and anxiety of leaving my small, fragile, pup, in the care of others who may have larger dogs coming and going where an accident can happen. I don’t like to take chances with one of my own, or one of yours getting hurt. Even by accident. I’ve recently updated my profile to only accept dogs up to a certain pound. This will help with my profile score, for the many dogs I’ve had to turn down. However, if you are a prior client, I will accept your larger dog (they’ve all been wonderful and fine because of my judgement at meet and greet) and in addition any future clients who have a small dog/big dog combo, I will consider a meet and greet to verify we would be a good fit and will make exceptions on a case by case. I will not be sitting for more than one family at a time. I’d like to advertise our service as a small dog oasis. We have tons of toys, treats, dogs beds, and love to offer to spoil and keep your little ones happy and safe. I know the peace and ease of mind I offer will stand out. I send pictures, and/or videos, daily, unless you ask me not to. I will also FaceTime you with your pet, upon request. * We have a 5 year old, 10lb Maltipoo, who acts more like an indoor cat, (sleeps a lot) and follows me everywhere, a 9 month old, 7lb, Malshi (Maltese Shitzu), who is a baby and wants to play with her toys all the time. We also have a 4 year old yellow lab, Sam, who acts like a lab. Aren’t they all full of energy? Sam likes to stay outside and loves his job as a guardian dog to our miniature goats. He comes in for freezing temperatures, over night to sleep, or heat advisories only. He’d rather be outside. All three get along with ALL animals, strays, neighbor’s yorkies’, neighbors dogs, etc. We have two acres of yard with a fenced in area that has a dog house, goat house, tree house, etc. which is where he stays. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.
