About: I've had dogs since I was a child. Although I don't have any of my right now, I love caring for my sister's two chows and my aunt's three dogs when she's out of town. I've got experience working with all kinds of dogs, from high-energy pups to elderly ones needing extra care. About: I have been taking care of dogs of all types for 5 years. I currently own a Rottweiler and 2 German Shepards. I love to take dogs on walks and my husband is a fantastic bather. I can accommodate all breeds, shapes and sizes and can care for even the most of need of care. I have a large yard with a small dog friendly pool for them to play in during the hot days. I have a full time job. I am available most evenings and weekends. Weekends I can board all day and during the week I could sit after 4PM. Must be house broken/trained (to potty outside), with the exception of puppies. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.
About: All my life I've had all kinds of animals. And all my life there has always been at least a dog or more of all sizes in my household. I am a stay at home mom so being there for you pet is like a walk in the park (or literally). About: I've taken care of dogs for about 5 years now. I have most of my experience from my own dog, but I've spent plenty of time around family and friends pets to know I can take care of both small and large dogs. I already do walks and runs with my own dog, so getting in some extra exercise with your pet is just fine! I'm currently a college student, so my schedule is a little wonky sometimes. I can do morning, afternoon, and evening check-ins on your pet during the weekday, and and free all day on weekends. I currently have more time in the mornings and evenings for any extra care your pet might need. It really depends on what kind of job I'm doing. If I'm doing a drop in, I'll make sure to give the pet attention (if they're around) while I'm cleaning up and feeding them, and will stick around to give them some play time. If I'm staying at the home, I'll usually be in an open area where they can relax and come to me if they want to play, while making sure they get taken out regularly. I'll usually be doing college work, so my break is their play time.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
