About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I am currently a full-time student at Appalachian State University studying Veterinary Technology. I am going to be entering my third year in the fall. I am looking to spend time with fur babies while I am completing school! I am currently a full-time student studying veterinary technology to become a licensed veterinary technician. My schedule is generally very flexible; on occasion I will have some classes where we meet online. I treat all animals as if they are my own. My animals are my children, and I will take care of yours the same way. I will have to say taking care of animals of all kinds is a true passion of mine. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. Now that I’m older I’ve had plenty experience caring for them whether that be pet sitting for friends and family or in my line of work. Something that will set me apart from other sitters you may come across is my experience working at a kennel. This includes specifically working with service dogs, boarding pets, and k9 working. I’ve worked with a variety of dog breeds, ages and behaviors, meaning I can cater to whatever your pets needs :) Since I work as a kennel technician, being with and caring for animals is practically second nature to me. Being able to pet sit would be right up my alley and perfect for the experience I have. Your pet is 100% guaranteed to get the best care I can provide. To list a few this includes always having fresh water, appropriate exercise, meals according to their routine, cleaning up any messes, administering any medication and of course lots of attention. About: I’m a 20-year-old college athlete currently playing volleyball at Gardner-Webb University. I’ve been taking care of dogs for several years and have experience with breeds ranging from French Bulldogs to medium-sized mixed breeds. Friends and family trust me to walk, feed, and care for their pets with love and attention. I’m dependable, responsible, and truly enjoy spending time with dogs—whether it’s playtime, a relaxing walk, or just hanging out together. As a student-athlete with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets—especially for walks, drop-ins, or weekend boarding. I’m usually available weekdays after 10 AM and most weekends. I make sure to plan around your pet’s needs and routines, so they always feel cared for and comfortable. I live in Statesville and offer pet care in your home, where your pet feels most comfortable and secure. I always prioritize safety and follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet happy and healthy. I’m trustworthy, dependable, and committed to treating your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own.

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

About: I have a lot of experience working with dogs. I have cared for young and old dogs - small and big dogs. I also have experience caring for cats. I love to interact with and care for animals. I can administer oral meds if needed. As of August 11th I will be back at my full time job. I am available on the weekends and and some holidays. Message for availability. Thank you! About: I have worked in the veterinary industry for 10+ years, and have personal experience caring for senior pets, puppies/kittens, birds, and even rats and other small mammals. I would be honored to watch your pet while you have to be away. There are only very few irrational requests - it is my goal to be accommodating to what your pet is used to! Currently, pet care is my sole source of income and caring for, walking, feeding, bathing, snuggling, and playing with your pets is my full-time job! I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have a dog and 3 cats who are my world - it is hard to entrust them with anyone else and I imagine this is true for you as well. About: I have taken care of dogs/animals since i was little. I have many exotic animals and 5 pups of my own that I absolutely adore! I am a stay at home pet mom. I spend all my time with my dogs and other pets, and have plenty of time to watch other pups and kittys! I am also available to pet sit exotic animals as I have several and know an extreme amount about them. And have years of experience and rehab with exotics. As well as dogs and cats! About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 5 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. Im a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. I’m a stay-at-home mom during the week, and then I work on Saturdays, so I’m pretty flexible with my schedule! I will have to bring my toddler with me to any visits on a weekday if it’s before 4 pm. When I’m caring for a pet, I always play with them and make sure they get quality interaction with me. I also check over their physical appearance to make sure they’re healthy and safe. As a vet tech, I’m very concerned with pets’ health and wellbeing.

About: Growing up in Michigan, I have had ample experience with caring for pets (not just dogs, but goats, cats and chickens too!). Since earlier childhood, I have had dogs including and most recently had two beautiful and hilarious bulldogs. I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking for friends and family back in Michigan. I have had experience with Rover as me and my sister for two years pet sat for several families in the Chicago area. I currently work during the week but am home in the early afternoon. I'm typically home all weekend which lends itself to being able to give dogs the attention, cuddles and care they need. I live in an apartment complex that has a dog park and personally love to walk, therefore can walk as much as your pet needs.

About: I LOVE animals. I was raised around animals from babies to adults so I am familiar with the processes from raising a baby to an elderly animal (cats, dogs, cows, horses, etc.) I have also volunteered at several animal shelters. I am currently raising two sweet pups of my own, Luna and Ranger. I have trained all of my animals and I’m extremely patient. I also know ASL, if needed to communicate. I am a full-time interpreter, but working with animals calms my stress. I understand situations come up, so I am extremely flexible. About: I have had many different kinds of pets throughout my childhood up into my young adulthood , I have had many years of experience of taking care of them and their individual needs along with caring for family friends pets as well and pet sitting when needed!! I am a full time college student ,however I do my classes online and only work part time in retail. Leaving plenty of time for me to give your fur babies the care and attention as if I were their owner! I am off on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s as of now so that is my only availability for boarding at the moment. I would feel more comfortable if I was supplied with a leash to take your dogs out for breaks , unless they are trained , my yard is not fenced in and would hate if anything were to happen.

About: My schedule is very laid back and flexible because I work from home. My brother, Travis, is also home full time and loves spending time with the dogs. Our own furbaby is always excited to have a new friend to pal around with, and our large yard makes the perfect canine playground. Your pup can expect plenty of exercise and attention in a clean, safe environment. And, if you have any special requests or unique needs, I'm always happy to accommodate as best I can.
