About: As a fur mom to two, I know that it is a huge relief to find someone to love your pets the way that you would. Let me be that person! Along with taking care of my own dogs and multiple family pets, I also have previous experience working at a vet as a kennel tech. Want to include your pet in your wedding day? I can help with that too! I have five years of experience in the wedding industry and have helped manage pets during the ceremony and photos. Let me handle your furry family members while you enjoy your day! I currently work a remote job with a flexible schedule which allows for me to easily fit in drop in visits or walks throughout the day. I know that each pet requires their own form of love and attention. I will take the time to get to know your pet, what they like and don't like, and make sure that everything is handled while they are in my care. It is very important to me to build a bond with your pet so that you both feel comfortable.

About: I have many years of experience in the veterinary industry and animal health, and I've cared for animals my whole life, including senior pets, puppies and kittens, birds, and small mammals. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, and my goal is always to accommodate what your pet is used to. For house sitting, my standard rate covers overnight care with normal daytime absences. I stay overnight and am out during the day, with potty breaks as indicated, plus meals and playtime. Some pets need more than that. Puppies, seniors, pets on medication, and dogs with separation anxiety often do best with someone home nearly full time. I'm happy to provide that level of care, but it's priced separately since it limits the other bookings I can take. If your pet can't be left alone for long, just mention it in your request and we'll sort out the right rate at the meet and greet. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking, which are booked and priced separately. I offer pet care on the side as my schedule allows, with availability for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I keep my calendar current, so if my profile shows your dates open, I'm happy to help — reach out and we'll set up a free meet and greet. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have a dog and 3 cats who are my world - it is hard to entrust them with anyone else and I imagine this is true for you as well. I hope to earn both the trust and respect of both you and your pets!

About: My daughter and I grew up helping take care of dogs and have been around them for as long as we can remember. We’ve looked after our own dogs as well as those of friends and family. There has never been a year in our lives without a dog in it, and we truly can’t imagine life without one! I currently work full time as a 2nd grade teacher, but I’m available for boarding, doggie day care, walking, dropping in, or playing with your dog during the week and on the weekends. My 17 year old daughter will be assisting as she absolutely loves dogs too. Our house is in a neighborhood. We currently have one dog who is a morkipoo and is very playful and loves other dogs. We are able to crate your dog if needed.

About: With an extensive animal care and sitting background, I bring thoughtful service to all my clients. If you're looking for someone responsible and loving with high energy pets, elderly pets who may need medication, or anything in between, look no further. I'm also happy to take on plant care, aquarium maintenance, bringing in mail, etc. I'm pleased to offer drop in visits where possible as well as home stays. I book meet and greets with clients to find out all the details, and encourage open communication. If you have any questions or would like to set up a meeting, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I generally have a pretty flexible schedule! We will set up expectations for your pet care and staying in touch in advance of each sit. :) I am big on photos, updates, and good communication in general. It is common to hear from me every day, with a multitude of photos.

About: I have a degree in animal science so I know lots about all sorts of animals, i love all animals with a passion. I’m a dog mom of 3! Currently working Wednesday from 2-5 and Friday 6-12. So the rest of the week I can play and walk your pups 🐶!! I’m super flexible with my schedule. I have three pups of my own and two acres of land for them to run and play, I do prefer to do walks or in home check ins on others animals though! One of my pups gets anxious around others sometimes. But he’s not aggressive.

As of November 2026, there are 849 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Marler. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Marler. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Marler after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
