2. Alyssa T.
“Alyssa is a true dog lover. From her own dog to others, she has compassion, patience and understanding with them. She is punctual and will love them like her own. I would definitely choose Alyssa again and again to be with my Rottweiler Penelope. Definitely would recommend 👍”
3. Jaszmyn L.
“Jaszmyn is really good at taking care of our dog, Harlow. She takes him for walks, baths him, and tends to all of his daily needs. She even teaches him tricks to do and she is very good and patient with him as she is with all animals. Jaszmyn would be a great pet caregiver because she would treat each pet as her own and provide the necessary care that any type of pet will need.”

About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didn’t end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
5. Destiny W.
“Destiny lives down the street from me and she watches my dog luna while I’m out of town or working a long shift. Luna absolutely loves her and she is great with her. She doesn’t just come and let her outside and feed her but she spends time playing with her and showing her some love while I’m not there. Destiny is very dependable and trustworthy. When I go out of town she will even stay the night at my house to make luna feel more comfortable. She is such a sweet animal lover.”
6. Jeff L.

Can't wait to take care of your pets! Retired Volunteer Fire Chief/Medical Responder Coach Little Baseball and Basketball President Of Nonprofit for Veterans, 1st Responders, Nurses with mental illness. My schedule is very open. I do occasionally have dr appointments, and help take and pickup my kids from school. But I will work around that the best I can. I will come to your house and spoil your baby. Take them on leashed walks, bathe if needed and just spend good quality time with them.

About: I got my first pet when I was 10 years old. I've had years of experience caring for a turtle, rabbit, and several dogs. I've potty trained 3 puppies, so I'd be happy to work with your puppies as well! I'm a REALTOR, so I get to make my own schedule! I'm happy to check in on your babies from early morning to late afternoon. I'm used to dogs with lots of energy! I'll be happy to take for a potty break, walk, play, and crate your dog before I leave. I'm used to a lot of responsibility, and have worked/do work in environments where being trustworthy is of the utmost importance.
15. Pam E.

Carly currently has 2 dogs and has fostered so many more through the years ,in fact both of her dogs were earlier fosters of hers. About: As an avid animal lover I understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy and attentive to look after your furry family member. I assure you that I prioritize the well-being and happiness of pets under my care above all else. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet feels loved and comfortable in my care. Pet care has been a lifelong passion for me, but I officially began my journey as a pet sitter in 2020. My experience spans a wide range of breed sizes and ages, including extra large breeds like Cane Corsos and Great Pyrenees’, as well as caring for senior dogs and puppies. Additionally, I've had the privilege of house-sitting for pets on a full-time basis for consecutive months while their owners traveled. I'm more than happy to arrange a meet and greet at your convenience. With my flexible schedule and reliable transportation, I'm well-equipped to accommodate your needs! Since I don’t have any pets of my own, yours are always my main focus and I can be very flexible to your needs. I just moved to the area, so I’m filling my time with short term or one time clients while looking for the right long term families. Im great at following precise instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise routines to ensure your pet doesn’t fall off their schedule if they have one.
18. Alex L.
“Alex has a ton of experience caring for her own dogs and others as well. Back a few years ago, I had a Rover account and took in dozens of dogs during a period when my freelance work was sporadic. Alex actually did 90% of the work even though I was responsible for the results. Together, we earned a consistent 5-star reputation and enjoyed a lot of repeat business. (Look up Justin Lambert in Stony Point, NC) Since then, she's also studied and become adept as a dog trainer. Her own dog, Fezzik, is the smartest, most obedient dog we've ever owned.”

About: Hello (: I’m Shannon, 28 years of age and have 2 furry friends myself. Bailey (golden doodle) and Tucker (Flat Coated retriever). Each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pet wants and needs. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. Your fur baby will be supervised 24/7 and get plenty of attention. They can play outside, watch TV with me, or even snuggle up in bed. This is their vacation and I’m here to make it there best vacation. I grew up in Wilkes county and currently still reside in Wilkes but I also provide services for Surry County. I can’t wait to hear from you and meet your fur babies. Thanks, Shannon
