“Ashley was such a super find for us. Our 12 year old cat is afraid of people and hides when anyone shows up to our very quiet household. We were afraid of the emotional toll our week long vacation would cause our cat who is never alone for more than a few hours. Even though she hid under the bed when Ashley came twice each day, she got the cat to engage in a little play and a few head scratches. Ashley kept to the cats usual feeding schedule, watered plants and the garden and even changed out hummingbird feeders every day! This girl aims to please and that she did! For walks, I make they get plenty of fresh air, exercise, a potty break, and time to sniff and explore while keeping a close eye. This semester I have a lot of free time and can do drop-in visits or overnight stays depending on your needs I love playing with cats but I also love to sit calmly with them. I keep an eye on doors and windows and keep them closed to prevent any safety concerns and I make sure they always get fed on time so they can be healthy and happy. About: I am certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am very serious when it comes to pet care, safety, and health. I have experience in pet care through all stages (puppy - senior), and complex medical cases. Each dog and cat is an individual with their own needs, wants, and traits that need to be fulfilled and noticed. BOARDING & DAYCARE: I LOVE pet care, and providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment. I will also analyze your pets individual needs and allow them to approach me as they become comfortable. I understand how important it is to choose the right person to take care of your beloved dog or cat. My primary focus will be the safety of all pets in the house. I will also make sure you feel happy and comfortable that your pet is in my home. I will also make sure you feel happy and comfortable that your pet is in my home by going through all of the details before your pets stay, and updating you with pictures and videos! DROP IN VISITS: Playing, potty, feeding, cuddling, bathing... I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure your pet is both happy and safe! PLEASE NOTE: - I work until 1:30pm on Fridays. - I will accept boarding OR daycare. I cannot accommodate both arrangements on the same days. - If you have one dog and more than one cat, I will accept them all. I will have a private, separate room for your cats. - I would like as much notice as possible to set up the pet care arrangement! CATS ONLY: You can drop off your pet on Thursday evening if needed I have a fenced in yard and two dogs that are very friendly, well-behaved, and playful! I will always monitor them, and never leave them alone without supervision. Our cat is blocked off by a 5-foot tall gate (she stays in the bedrooms) and the dogs are in the rest of the house. My previous dog, Johnny, passed away last year and throughout his life he experienced health issues that required daily oral medication (he had epilepsy and hypothyroidism, and during the last 6 months of his life he struggled with Cushing's Disease). I am experienced in how complicated medication and health issues are in pets, and I take it very seriously. I make sure our home is a calm environment filled with toys, playtime, cuddles, and mentally stimulating activities. My goal is to do what's best for the individual dog/cat and make them feel both safe and loved! If needed, there is a private pet room that will be changed to fit the dog or cat's needs. The set up will include toys, their own items the owner provides, and washable mats on the floor that will be washed/disinfected before use. If your pet needs their own private space, I will make this room a fun, and relaxing place to be! Please note: to ensure the safety of all pets in the household, I need to see the most recent Vet paperwork showing your pet is up to date on vaccines (unless health or age prevents them from receiving vaccines), and does not have a contractable health issue. Also, your pet must NOT be aggressive.

About: I have had dogs, cats, gerbils, fish and mice as pets for the last 57 years. As an adult, I have had cats and dogs as pets. Currently I have 1 dog in my home. Walking for about 1 hour is a daily ritual we all enjoy. I cared for an elderly person in her home for nearly 2 years in the evening and was responsible to care for the dog as well including walking and feeding. I provide care in my home for my friends and family dogs while they are on vacation. I have experience with puppies and potty training. I have experience with senior care including diapering and lifting dogs. Additionally, I administered insulin to a prior dog. I have expeince walking multiple dogs at a time. My dog is friendly. I work from home so I am available during the day for breaks. I am available to walk in the monring and at lunch but after work is our 1 hour walk in the neighborhood and around the school or on local trails in town. My son plays baseball at night and I enjoy taking the dogs to watch the games. The dogs join me in the yard when I am working in the gardens and are often under a shady tree or enjoying the sun. I do not have a fenced in yard so I usually take the dogs out in the yard on a retractable leash to keep them safe but allow them to roam around. I like to leave the glass storm door open so the dogs can sit in the sun and watch the outdoors. I enjoy daily walks with my dogs. I can replicate any routine for your pet in my home or your home.
