About: I have been raised around animals my entire life which includes several hamsters, fish, dogs, a rabbit, and a cat! They’ve all lived very long healthy lives and are loved very much till this day even after passing. I still my own two dogs and cat though who continue to thrive and live out the rest of their (hopefully eternal) lives! I have loved and felt a connection to animals since I could under what they were and will continue to do so till I roam this earth. Most my experience comes from owning my own pets and taking care of families or family friends, but I believe the best type of pet sitter is one who has had their own and felt that connection with very own furry friend. From pet owner to another pet owner, I will love your pet like my very own. I am currently on summer break and won’t be returning to school till August 22nd. I have a very flexible schedule besides from Monday-Thursday where I am taking summer classes from 9am-11:15pm but other than that I am ready to work any day at any time! I also have my own car so transportation will be no problem! I am myself a very cautious pet owner and honestly tend to over think little things that might be unsafe for my pets, so you count on me that I will be the same for your pets as well. I am knowledgeable on what is safe or harmful for dogs, cats, and any of the previous animals I have owned before. I am very to the book so if you give me instructions for certain feeding times, certain walking times, or anything of that sort I will be following exactly like instructed.

I will take them on their walks for physical activity and for their potty breaks. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life! Since moving away from home a few years ago, I found myself missing my fur babies I was accustomed to living with throughout my childhood and teenage years. For 3 years living in California, however, it was not feasible for me to own a pet because I was serving in the military and frequently away from home for days on end. Now my wife and I have moved to Silver Spring and adopted our own fur baby - a Bernese Mountain Dog named Brewer. We love to host dogs in our home and have sitters come to help out with Brewer as well. We both work full time but have some flexibility in our jobs. We love taking care of dogs and Brewer loves making new friends too! We have a large backyard for Brewer and a good size home as well. Plenty of room for activities and our neighborhood is great for walks!

About: I have been taking care of my family friends' pets since I was 10. One of those family friends had a chicken, two cats, 1 dog, 2 bearded dragons, hamsters, fish, and a turtle (not to mention a garden to tend to!) all in one go, and I was the one that was called to take care of them all when the family was out of town. I also cared for a 17 year old cat, making sure to give her the medication she needed in a timely manner. I helped my friend care for and train their puppy when it was 10 weeks old, which included socializing it in a variety of situations. Most recently, I took care of my friends axolotl, which had its own specific needs. These experiences have definitely taught me the joys and responsibilities of caring for a pet. Any pet care would easily fit into my everyday schedule. I am currently not working so I am quite flexible every day of the week. I already go on walks at least twice a day, which could easily include a dog by my side! There are trails by my house that I typically love to go to, and beaches where I am a regular. We are a very pet friendly household. I have an entire empty bedroom for a dog to play in or to put their kennel, if they are kennel trained. We do not mind having dogs on the couches in the living room and porch. I spend a lot of time in common spaces already and so much of my time would be spent with the pet, either playing with them, or in their company if I'm working on things on the computer.

About: Growing up my family always had dogs and cats and as an adult I grew to love to care for them. My love for dogs and cats landed me my dream job a cage less 24 hour doggie daycare, boarding and grooming facility. I worked there for 15 years and loved every minute of it. Since working with dogs for such a long period of time I honestly couldnt see myself doing anything else which is why I am now a full time dog walker.
