“Jason did a great job watching our German shepherd and our Lab He came out to meet them before and stayed 2 days and nights. Jason is reliable and a great sitter we will definitely use him again”

“Omg!! What an absolutely beautiful day! I got photos collages!!! COLLAGES!! Videos... i am so impressed right now. My dog were calm, smiling, having a great time outside and indoors, and i was gone all day with ZERO anxiety over it. They loved my sitter from the moment she came in for our greet. Communication was too notch and i was excited to not only know but vividly see my babies were fine and in great hands. I will be more than happy to use her services again and again.”

“We would definitely use Rachael again! She was great with all 3 of our dogs - even the little Chihuahua mix who has a bad habit of going potty in our mud room! She sent us pictures of the pups and communicated with us while we were gone and even played with our ferrets! We highly recommend Rachael!”

About: Hi! My name is Kacey, and I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I’ve worked with energetic puppies, senior dogs, shy dogs, and dogs that need a little extra patience and attention. As a caregiver in my professional life, I’m dependable, responsible, and understand the importance of providing safe, compassionate care. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, or just someone to stick to their routine while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for and treated like family. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾 I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. My daily routine allows for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. When I am away from home, a family member is always there, so pets are never left alone for long periods of time. In my home, pets are treated like family and are given plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. While my yard is not fenced, I have leads available and always prioritize safety during outdoor time. I can follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and potty breaks to help them feel comfortable and at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routine and preferences to keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and updates so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets! From dog to tarantula I’ve had them all. I’ve handled the stubborn breeds like bull terrier to the loving breed like Labradors. I’ve raised multiple kitten litters and helped them get adopted out and took in many strays. I treat every animal as my own. Im available every week day after 8am! If im needed earlier I can make it work as well. My schedule may be more open soon depending on jobs. Pet care come first for me so no need to worry about anything preventing me from that. I can easily crate your dog if needed and have a fenced in dog park. I do live in an apartment complex so room isn’t as spacious as a house.

About: My first job in high school was working at a dog day care/boarding facility! I worked there for a little over 2 years before I went to college. I learned a lot about dog behavior, grooming, and overall care for dogs. Before I was able to get a job when I was younger I would walk my neighbors’ dogs. I also grew up with Labrador Retrievers and currently my family has a 6 year old black lab named Tanner! I’m currently a college student on summer break so my availability is very open! I also work at green garden country club so occasionally I will be busy. I have always loved animals but especially dogs. I loved growing up with dogs, birds, and fish. As someone who has worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, I have hands on experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels! I love making pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and lots of updates and photos so you can feel relaxed.
“Jaclynn and Nala seemed to have loved their stay with Michelle! She is very responsive and sends pictures to let you know your pups are doing okay. Will definitely book with her again”

“Haily was awesome, she took great care of our dogs. She spent time with them in the basement during a tornado warning. My golden Is very afraid of storms and is not fun to be around during them but Haily took it in stride. She communicated with us while we were gone and sent pictures. Would definitely highly recommend her.”

About: My experience comes from a lifelong love of animals. I cared for my childhood dog from the time I was young until he passed away at 15 years old. Throughout his life, I was responsible for feeding him, spending quality time with him, ensuring he was comfortable, and providing extra care as he became a senior dog. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding a pet's individual needs. I know that pets are family members, and I treat every animal with the same love, compassion, and attention that I gave my own dog. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work remotely from home Monday through Friday. This allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Since I'm home most of the time, I can provide pets with consistent attention, supervision, and care, helping them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I provide a clean, safe, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I pay close attention during walks, playtime, and daily activities to ensure pets stay safe and happy. I also keep pet owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind while they are away. Having cared for my own dog throughout his life, including his senior years, I understand the importance of patience, reliability, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve.
“Holly is so great!! She responds quickly, is reliable, responsible and on time. She left my house immaculate and really bonded with my cat (who hates people) and my dog. Highly recommend!! 💫”

About: I have taken care of all sizes and temperaments of animals for 6 years, no one is too much to handle! I am very gentle, playful, loving, and energetic; i tailor myself to the pet's specific personality to make them feel comfortable as possible while their parents are away! About: Please take into consideration the quality of your pet sitter over a low rate inexperienced "pet lover" that just wants to watch animals . There's a difference. "RATES LISTED HERE ARE BASIC RATES- THEY MAY BE ADJUSTED ON A CASE BY CASE SCENARIO (UP OR DOWN) DEPENDING ON THAT ANIMALS PARTICULAR NEEDS" *******IMO- ANIMALS trump most people 😁 I Specialize in special needs animals & alternative ways to treat that aren't offered by most vets due to my life long experience , I know what works. I also am fond on taking care of any & all animals including horses and farm animals. Right down to guinea pigs n snakes of all kinds. If you need dog boarding, as long as I have notice I can make myself available & home 24/7 ** I work M-F daily, so any animal I can work into my schedule is a great fit. I cannot do daily letting out of dogs unless I have NOTICE (deposit required) I am open to ANY animal watched in my home if that is preferential. I can also "stay" in your home outside of my daily work schedule I'm in a huge farm house, large yard and except for weekly job am always home for one on one. Im extremely close to my local vet and have dealt with many different situations.

“I was very nervous leaving my pet behind on vacation but Lucy was always in good hands with Alli. She went above and beyond. We can't thank her enough. Lucy now has a new friend. I would rate her 100 on a scale from 1 to 10.”

About: I’m fortunate to have experience with a wide variety of animals thanks to my cousins, who have two cats, three dogs, a turtle, and a horse. I help care for their pets regularly, so I’m comfortable meeting the unique needs of animals of all kinds and treating each one like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m currently finishing up breast cancer treatment and have intentionally chosen pet sitting as my primary work. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and being able to provide reliable, loving care while I’m in this season of life has been incredibly rewarding. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. At my home, pets have access to a securely fenced backyard for supervised play, exercise, and potty breaks, along with plenty of attention, affection, and a comfortable place to relax. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other care instructions. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.
About: Lifelong animal lover experienced in river walks, companion feedings, soothing chest rubs, treat distribution, and earning a sly cats trust. I will make sure your pets are happy, SAFE, and completely spoiled while you’re away! After a recent career shift- a friend suggested I try Rover to generate a bit of income. Bonus: an opportunity to do something I LOVE! I’m just getting started (here), but I look forward to meeting your fur family. I closely monitor outdoor time to ensure the pet is secure in the yard. I do NOT have a fence (all neighbors do). I will either clip them to the ground lead (125 lb hold), or long leash them in hand (I prefer your dog wear a harness while in my care). For their safety and security, your pet will NOT be outside without supervision. When out walking I will remain aware and assess surroundings to prepare for any triggers the dog may have and offer redirection. I will closely follow your schedule and preferences to make transition of care easier.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,426 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wilton Center. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wilton Center walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wilton Center maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wilton Center choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
