We have house trained our dogs and know the patience required with the process. We always stay outside with them. Inside the house is pet proofed with couch protection covers and scratching posts for cats. All kitty litter is gated off from dog access. Water bowls are available upstairs and downstairs. If we are outside for more than 15 minutes we also bring a water bowl outside.

I’m currently a student at USC, go Gamecocks! On MWF, my classes end at 2 so I am free anytime after that. I ran a small animal sitting business, caring for families and friends pets and I decided to take my services to Rover! I have had family dogs my entire lives and have experience training puppies as well as kittens. I work from home currently which leaves lots of open availability throughout the day and night to care for your pets! I can accommodate walks, frequent check-ins, overnight stays and more! First and foremost, all instructions for caring for the animal inside the home left by the owner will be respected and closely followed. I maintain cleanliness and leave the homes exactly as I found them!

About: The biggest thing that I believe sets me apart from other pet sitters is my knowledge of psychology and behavior which in turn allows me to connect and tend to the needs of animals. I have been told many times that I am the only stranger that their pet gets along with! I also am a part time caretaker for my grandfather. My responsibilities often include cleaning, shopping, and cooking. I really enjoy it. Lastly, I volunteered at a farm in Oregon for about 3 months back around early 2022. I was routinely in charge of many tasks relating to the care of animals including feeding chickens, cleaning the chicken coop, periodically moving cows to fresh pasture...etc. I am currently attending college online and work a part-time job. Taking care of animals on my own time works very well for me and I enjoy it a lot! I have been the primary owner of my 3 year old pug named Captain up until a year ago when I started to live with my grandfather to take care of him. Due to various factors, Captain now primarily stays at my parents' house (15 min away) which works out very well for everybody. I often have him over and also watch him at my parents' house when nobody is around. I take him out whenever he scratches at the door and take him on at least one walk a day. In between his meals I will give him snacks in exchange for tricks! That being said, if you are teaching your dog certain things, I would be glad to do my part in teaching as well! Last thing that I believe is very important would be cleaning off the paws with a towel after letting my dog outside when it’s muddy and wet outside.
About: I've owned a cat for 10 years now and in those years I taught her how to sit and high five. I also grew up with animals in my household since I was born. I've sitted my grandpas dog for a week at his house while he was away and took care of my moms dog for a weekend. I also volunteered at a few shelters, the most recent one being NAWS. I just got a new job so my schedule for January is currently unknown. They still need to get back on me for the date that ill start but itll be 5 days a week for 8 hours a day when it does. While I'm at the client's home I would treat their pets as if they were my own. In my household I always make sure to spend as my time with my cat as I can. With my cat I fill up her bowl and when it gets low I usually fill it once more, this is because she doesn't eat much in a day and never finishes. If the client has a certain feeding schedule I would make sure to feed the animal at the times the client requires. With a dog I would take them on walks atleast twice a day, if the client doesn't have a yard or has a certain walk schedule for their animal I would take them on as many walks as needed. With cats depending on how long the client is gone I will make sure the litter is cleaned once a day and replace it every week.
About: I have had animals apart of my life since I was born! Although we do not currently own any pets since we love to travel we love taking part of pet sitting and dog walking! We started asking our neighbors if we could spend some time with their pups after seeing our son was scared of dogs as a simple way to help introduce him into the world of joy that comes with owning a dog. About: Hello! My name is Megan. I have both professional and personal experience caring for animals. I have previous work experience at a dog grooming salon where we also occasionally groomed cats. I can do basic grooming such as brushing, baths, ear cleaning, and nail trims. I do offer nail trimming and filing, as well as 15-30 minute brush outs. Brush outs are great for in-between grooming appointments to ensure your pup doesn’t get any uncomfortable matting! For these services I try and take a “fear-free” approach with lots of snacks, treats, and favorite toys for distraction and motivation. I don’t use any restraints, other than body positioning if needed, and aim to make your dog as comfortable as possible. Working with animals is my true passion and I would love to care for your fur babies! I had my first family dogs when I was 12 years old. Two labradors named Buddy and Shadow. I currently own one 3 year old black lab mix, Dexter. I have also owned cats for nearly my whole life! I currently have a 1.5 year old kitty named Helena. I am currently a stay-at-home mom to two boys. My schedule is currently pretty flexible. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings I’m typically unavailable until 10:30am, but with some notice I can usually work to accommodate your schedule. I am currently available for nail trims and brush-outs, walks, drop-ins, or sitting at your home.
