About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals most of my life, starting on my grandparent’s farm in Eastern Oregon where I spent my summers and winters surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to goats, chickens, and horses. I’ve been pet sitting professionally since I was 16, and now with over a decade of experience (I’m 26), I bring both passion and expertise to every pet I care for. I’m trained in animal behavior, body language, dog training techniques, veterinary care, and medication administration. I’m also certified in Cat and Dog First Aid, Pet CPR, and currently studying Wildlife Biology—so I bring both instinct and science to the job. Whether you have a puppy learning the ropes or a senior dog needing gentle, consistent care, I’ll stick closely to your routine and provide the love and structure your pet needs to feel safe and happy. Your pets are family—and I treat them like it. As Wildlife Biology student currently taking all my classes online, I've built my days around caring for animals-both wild in theory and domestic in practice. My schedule is highly flexible, which means I can adjust to your pet's needs, whether that's early morning walks, midday enrichment, or evening cuddles. Caring for animals isn't just a job I fit in-it's woven into my routine and values. I spend my time studying animal behavior, then reinforcing those lessons in real life through play, care, and consistent routines. Whether it's a structured feeding schedule, daily medication, or simply being present for companionship, I'm here to provide reliable, heart-led care whenever your pet needs it most. When I care for pets, my priority is making sure they feel safe, happy, and at home—even when their people are away. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, and I tailor my care to fit both your pet’s routine and your comfort level. On walks, I like to switch up our routes so your dog can explore new trails and sniff out new adventures. During drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets play, affection, and any care they need—whether it’s feeding, medication, or a quick game of fetch—before I leave. When house sitting, I follow your daily routine closely so your pets experience the same rhythms they’re used to. I’m happy to include walks, dog park trips, or even pup cups and store visits if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I love including dogs in my day whenever possible, and I’m always respectful of boundaries—yours and theirs. Every animal is different, and every household is unique. That’s why I focus on communication, consistency, and making sure your pets feel truly cared for while you’re away.

“Mary did an amazing job with our dog and cat. She kept in touch every day, sent lots of pictures and genuinely cares about the furries under her care. Would hire again!!”

About: I am very active. I like to play and move. If your pet needs energy used I would love to find out how long they go. Outside of this play style my family and I have an elderly cat that we do special care for. For example, special treats, water treatment, food, and toys. The cat we have is given special treats that help joints and hips. We use special food to help digestion. We give massages to her variously throughout the day/week more so when needed. I am the go to pet sitter for many of our family friends. I frequently play and visit with their pets. I am cautious on opening the door being aware of what may be near the other side to get out. Moving my way in to the house I will call the pet by name if they’re not by the door to give them affection. If they don’t come by the door I will go search for them to make sure they are okay and greet them in their area if they seem to be comfortable for a greeting.

“Janet was professional, on time and a pleasure to deal with. Our dog and cat took to her right away. We will be happy to use her again. Thank you Rover for finding people we can trust and depend on.”

“Richard did a great job. He updated me frequently with pictures of his and Nipper's play and interactions. He left my home clean and neat. He also stayed until I was sure that my plane made it and would be home. I will definitely keep Richard in mind when I need a sitter again.”

“Having to book a pet sitter due to a family emergency, Benjamin went above and beyond expectations to make a sad and stressful situation a little more bearable. He sent me daily updates and pics and reassured me that my animals were happy, well cared for, and having lots of fun. I knew I did not have to worry one bit while Benjamin was taking care of my dogs and home. He even washed my pets' dishes and left them on the counter with a very nice note! Benjamin is very responsive, sweet and caring, and I would let him take care my pets and house in a heartbeat.”

“Pam stayed at our home and looked after our dachshunds and parakeets for over 1 week and we couldn't be happier. Her little poodle Jessie got on well with our babies. We recommend Pam without reservations!”

About: I've owned dogs, cats all my life. I grew up on a little farm with sheep, pigs, chickens and horses I did 4H and FFA. Available for walking, sitting training and drop ins. “Jasmine was an amazing sitter! She took great care of my pup making sure she was happy, had excellent communication, and even left my place more tidy than I had it. Will definitely be using her services again”

About: I can’t remember a time when dogs were not a part of my life. I grew up with high-energy dogs (labs, border collies, vizslas) and have been taught how to properly care for and train obedient dogs in a kind and loving way that treats them as a member of the family while also ensuring they are well-behaved when they need to be. My wife and I currently have two Vizslas who hunt upland game with me. I have also cared for and trained numerous puppies over the years. I feel confident dealing with and helping to train “problem” dogs as dog training has been a family business since I was young. Our family loves dogs and the joy and unconditional love they bring into our lives and we could not imagine life without them! Rest assured your dogs will be well cared for when we are looking after them. My wife and I both work remotely and are home 7 days a week. We take breaks throughout the day to take the dogs on walks, play with them in the backyard, or do mid-day training sessions. On the weekends, we enjoy exercising the dogs with longer walks and/or hikes. Because we work remotely, we also have the ability to stay and care for your dog(s) at your home if you prefer! We are very flexible with our schedule because of the remote work that we do. If you’d prefer us to care for your dog at your house, that can be done! If you’re ok with leaving your pup with us, we have a large fenced backyard with plenty of room for exploring and exercise. We have two friendly, energy-filled vizslas that will be sure to keep your dogs company if they want it. We have numerous crates and can crate your dogs if necessary!

“We truly appreciated have an experienced pet guru to watch our animals while we were away. Jessica kept us updated and our pets happy. Thank you!”

“Brenna is amazing. She is so wonderful with the dogs. The loved her and she loved them. Sparkling personality and a great communicator. Our house looked like it hadn’t been lived in! She’s top of our list!!!”

About: I have had many pet stays at our house. From a wolf husky puppy, senior rottweiler, to a pit mix. All ages, sizes and breeds I love! I believe that our home is a safe place for any animal. Going above and beyond is the normal around here and there’s never anything I wouldn’t do. I have 2 German short haired pointers. Brixley who is 5 and Captain who is 4. They lovvveee to play! They are sweet balls of energy. We spend a lot of time on walks, doing basic commands, mental stimulation (lick mats, homemade treats/popsicles, and bones) I hope to have the chance to spend time with your furry babies! I work from home Monday to Thursday 6am to 4pm. I’d love to do evening check ins, walks, or even stay overs if needed. I am always happy to invite any furry friends over as long as they are friendly with other dogs. My 2 GSPs loveee to play! I care for pets by making sure they have everything they need and more. There is never not enough when it comes to any pets. I go above and beyond for all animals and would do the same for yours!

9. Xavier F.
“Xavier was amazing with my dog! My dog had ACL surgery last November and needed extra care, care that I couldn’t provide alone due to work. Xavier stepped up and did everything and anything he could for my big guy. He was willing to lay with him by his crate to prevent him from moving around to much and feeling lonely, brought his food and water to his crate and helped him get comfortable enough to eat, he took him out and helped him around the yard so he could use the bathroom. He was a savior when it came to getting my dog healthy, and when he was healthier enough to walk Xavier was willing to help take him for little walks to start helping his surgery leg recovery and helped give my guy stretches. Xavier is willing to step up however needed and without a doubt cares about the dogs he is trusted with.”
