“Peyton was really good with Ginger, sent at least 1 photo daily, kept in contact with us about Gingers care and anything that seemed a little off. Ginger seemed happy with her.”

“Mary was very good at taking care of my cat , during our trip to the uk . She was prompt at replying to my texts about how Alfie was adjusting , and kept me informed of his eating patterns . Very happy with her service .”

“Alyssa was available to take care of my boy at the last minute, and im not sure why she was available to book because she did an amazing job caring for my 75 pound siberian husky. She went above and beyond to ensure his needs were met and provided lots of photo updates to put my mind at rest that everything was going fine.”

“Mason did an awesome job even under the circumstance my dog got hurt the day I was leaving and needed medical attention the whole time with Mason! He sent me pictures the entire time, the dogs were so happy too. He was extremely communicative and understanding of everything going on. I highly recommend him to anyone with 3 crazy dogs like mine haha!”
“We’re so happy with Brooke taking care of our fur baby, Maggie Mae! She’s absolutely amazing for overnight stays—we trust her completely in our home, and everything is always just as we left it. On top of that, she’s gone above and beyond for us. While we were away, she graciously was willing to deal with roofers and show them exactly where the leak was—such a huge help! Also, Brooke is incredibly accommodating and understanding, especially when our travel plans shift due to airline delays or cancellations. She sends plenty of pictures (which we love, because we miss our Mags!) and is always super communicative, positive, and reliable. Highly, highly, highly recommend! We are thankful for her.”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! I know my babies were in great hands and were loved beyond belief. Stephanie has the ability the juggle multiple pet sittings as once! She will take extra care of your animals as if they are her own. She sent pictures the whole time so I could see their furry faces! She will constantly make sure you are updated and in the loop and has a fast response time. She even went so much as to empty our garbage and empty the litter box even though she did not have to. 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking so my babies can see Auntie Steph!!”

“Barbara is a very good pet sitter! Our cat & dog love to spend time with her when she is taking care of them. We prefer a house-sitter arrangement because our dog is elderly and Barbara has been great and gives us the peace of mind that our babies are being well taken care of when we are on vacation. I highly recommend her services!”

“Taylor and Bruno are fantastic, we really appreciate their house sitting-dog watching and taking care of our chickens. Wonderful communication and pictures. Thank you Taylor and Bruno!!”

“Lydia and Emmitt were fantastic. They were very consistent in their visits and updates and I could tell they gave our pets plenty of love and cared for them like their own! They also were very respectful and left our house exactly as we left it & even brought in packages for us. Would recommend!”

“Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾”

“We feel so lucky to have found Debra. She made us feel so comfortable that we felt like we were leaving our dog, Kevin, and our home with a friend! We hope to be able to welcome her back in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for ALL types of animals since I was a kid, and it’s something I truly love! I have 2 cats of my own, regularly dogsit 3 large shepherds for a close friend, and occasionally volunteer with the Humane Society of Pinellas. Having worked with pets of all ages, from bottle babies to seniors with special needs, my best approach is to calmly match energy. Patience is more than key, and I will always respect each animal’s unique personality and nonverbal boundaries. Pet care is my full-time job! Working with animals and supporting my community are truly my passions. I’m very savvy with time management and love keeping my schedule steady, reliable, and flexible for my clients. Unless we discuss otherwise, I typically spend 30–40 minutes at each drop-in to give your pets proper attention and care without ever rushing. Weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests are always welcome! Even if my calendar shows I’m booked, still feel free to reach out. Caring for pets in their own home helps them feel safe and secure in a familiar space. With my own animals at home, this setup also works best for me! I focus on maintaining your pet’s usual routines and paying close attention to their comfort, body language, and any changes in behavior. A calm, familiar environment is essential for building an organic, trusting relationship between new human and pet!
About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 14, big and small animals. I’m also experienced at giving medicine to elderly and young animals. The most I’ve ever cared for at one time was 8 cats and 2 dogs! I’m a college student so it fits well with my class schedule. As well as I miss my puppies back home in Tennessee! So watching other peoples animals can fill that space. I have a fenced in yard. Plenty of space in the house, couch is never off limits. I can provide potty breaks every two hours.
“Megan took such great care of our dog while we were away. She was wonderful about communicating with us and giving us plenty of updates. We are so grateful to have met her!”
“Christine took exceptional care of my dog. She immediately established a schedule consistent with his day to day life. They blended well and she made meal time an enjoyable experience for them both. She left my home just as she found it. I will definitely hire Christine again! She's a gem!”

Wilshire Estates pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mary was an amazing caregiver to our dog Gracie while we attended our daughters wedding in Washington State. I appreciate her staying the entire time so my dog didn't get lonely. She is a kind, caring and trusting person. I would highly recommend Mary to stay with you furry loved ones.

Debra is a 5+ sitter! My dogs enjoyed their time with her. Debra took great care of them and I am so grateful for her attention towards them! Debra is very professional, very knowledgeable about caring for dogs, attentive to details as to how to make the doggies happy and feel safe, and extremely considerate as a house guest. I would highly recommend Debra! Luna and Kaia send you a big doggie hug!
Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾

Stephanie did an incredible job with our two golden retrievers. She sent me lots of pictures while we were gone and i could tell the dogs were having a great time. She left our house immaculate - it looked better than before we left! She was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be using her again in the future!

We cannot rave enough about Lydia & Emmitt. This was our first experience using dog/house sitters and we were very nervous about the well-being of our pups especially with one being older. It’s obvious that they love animals and take great pride in their work. They followed every instruction exactly with regards to feeding/schedules/medication. But more importantly, they were very affectionate with our pups and provided enrichment. Our home was also left immaculate. They were very respectful and responsive throughout and will definitely be booking them again.

Peyton was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be happier. Our dog Charlie is over 15 and blind, so requires some extra attention and someone to stay at our house. Peyton took great care of both Charlie and our home. She provided multiple updates and photos throughout each day which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

I know my dog Pickles is in great hands when Richi comes to pet sit for him. Pickles loves lots of attention and love and Richi is so caring and always sends me photos to enjoy. I highly recommend these two pet lovers for times we need to be away from our fur babies.
