About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner for 10 years, I’m now embarking on a new chapter after 24 wonderful years in Chicago. Following a long career in advertising sales, I’m seeking a slower-paced, more fulfilling path — one that lets me combine my reliability with my love for animals. At 49, I bring maturity, responsibility, and genuine care to every pup I watch, ensuring your they are looked after as if they were my own. Also, the doodle you see in some pics is my amazingly chill, gets along with every living thing, sidekick Lambeau. So please note your dog(s) must be okay with other dogs. I'm currently taking some time off and won't be going back to remote work until the fall '26, at the earliest. So I'm very flexible with my time at the moment. I live in an apartment complex (2 bed / 2 bath) with a huge unfenced grassy area off my lanai, that Lambeau and I call our own backyard. I also live across the street from John Chesnut park, in the Tarpon Woods area so Lambeau and I spend lots of time at that huge dog park and/or exploring the various trails. So if you're open to that as well, I'll gladly take your pup(s) over there for some adventures.

About: I’ve had a variety of dog care and sit experience throughout the years. I’ve taken care of puppies, and I have taken care of older dogs that require medication and extra attention. I currently work remotely, so I am flexible with pet care needs. There will be situations where I need to run errands or take care of things outside of the home but as of right now I am flexible and able to meet the pet and parents needs. I will be providing care in the clients home. I only offer home sits at this time. I am happy to meet with the pet parent prior to the sit, pending availability in person versus FaceTime, to go over needs specifications of routine and review care needs prior to the sit.
“Taylor was very good with Hunter. He had a couple of skin infections and she was on top of it! He had a trip to the vet and a trip to the ER. She made sure he had his medicine, daily exercise, food and water, and made sure he wore the dreaded cone. Taylor took very good care of him. Taylor gave us daily updates and pictures of Hunter. If she had a question, she asked. Taylor also stayed at our house. She treated it as her own. Everything was in order when we came home. Bedding (ours and Hunters) was washed. We were very pleased with the care Taylor gave Hunter and our home.”

I was very nervous to leave my baby girl with a sitter as we have never done that before. But Peggy made me feel so comfortable with knowing Lily would be left in her care while we were on a trip. She kept me updated about their days and sent little pictures as well, she also cares for your home likes it’s hers which really meant a lot to us. Any time we leave in the future for any vacations or trips I will for sure be reaching out to Peggy again! 10/10 recommend.
Stephanie was an amazing sitter for my two large dogs! She took the time to meet them a few times beforehand so I could make sure my older dog was comfortable, which I really appreciated. While I was away, she walked them multiple times a day, kept the house tidy, and sent me updates with photos and videos throughout the day. Andrea was caring, communicative, professional, dependable, and a pleasure to work with! She responded quickly when I first reached out and generously made time for a meet-and-greet the very next day. This was my first time booking a house sitter and my longest time away from my recently adopted senior kitty, so I was understandably a little nervous. But Daisy immediately greeted Andrea at the door and seemed comfortable with her, which put me at ease. Andrea was attentive to all the little quirks I shared about Daisy, asked thoughtful questions, and was transparent about her daily schedule. She had the flexibility to spend most of the day at my home with Daisy, which was a huge benefit. Throughout my trip, she provided daily photo and video updates and was always quick to respond when we communicated. I also appreciated coming home to a tidy space—Andrea vacuumed, kept the kitchen clean, and took out the trash and recycling. I felt genuinely relieved knowing my cat had loving care and steady companionship while I was away. One of the best signs of how well the stay went was that Daisy was completely herself when I returned, with no apparent signs of stress or separation anxiety after my time away. I would highly recommend Andrea for house sitting and would happily reach out to her again for future stays or drop in visits!
Lydia and Emmitt took amazing care of our puppies while we were on vacation! They sent us updates and photos every day while we were gone. They gave them multiple walks per day and lots of play time. The pups looked like they didn’t even miss us! They stayed in our house for a whole week and left everything exactly as they found it. I don’t think anyone has ever cared for our puppies so well while we were away before!
We were new to Rover and had previously only had family or close friends look after our dogs when traveling. We ran into a last minute bind and needed to find someone to look after our dogs a day before we left. That’s when we were fortunate enough to get paired with Katie. Jasmine watched our dog Mickey while we went away for three nights and we were very very happy with the care that she gave him and the updates and photos that she sent to us.
