“Alexis was a great care taker for our dachshund over the weekend! She was very open and receptive to any specific requests we had, shared pictures and videos. Overall our dog appeared to enjoy the time with her and we would definitely reach out again the next time we are out of town.”

About: I have taken care of pets for nearly 10 years. From Dogs to cat to even birds. I’m the person that will walk your dog in the snow and enjoy it. I am also the person that will play with your cat for an hour straight. Pets are family and that’s how they deserve to be treated. I’m currently a bartender and big time traveler. I’m looking to make extra cash on weekends by doing what I love which is taking care of your little furry ones. I have fenced in yard for my dogs as well as indoor cats. My pets eat twice a day on a cautious diet due to them being elderly. I walk my dogs everyday if I can and play with my cat every single day as he is old but he’s very playful.
“I can’t say enough good things about Lauren. She was able to charm my very shy cat into letting her give him his inhaler and pill! We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Bailey was fantastic!!! I needed someone to help last minute for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and she was able to make it happen. My dog, Scout, was immediately comfortable with her. He gave her lots of snuggles and kisses while I was gone. I could not have asked for a better sitter to trust with my pup over the holidays! I highly recommend Bailey!”
“Omega has been terrific, giving 5 meds per day to my old kitty. She checked in via the app each of the three times a day thst she visited, & I appreciated the photos, taken in various locations. My stand-offish kitty even rubbed up against her after a couple of days! Thanks so much, Omega, I will def request you again!”
“Lauren visited Foxy every day to take care of her daily needs. It took a couple days for Foxy to warm up to Lauren but after that she got all the loving. Using Lauren was great and we will use her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 and also have lived with them my entire life(I have 3). I’ve trained, fed, and bathed dogs. I am available during the week I’m better during the days. Also weekends I can do all day. We can talk through times I have a flexible schedule. I take care of pets in their own home. I am use to a leash training as well as fenced in yards. I am unable to provide a place to take care of others pets.
About: With over a year of dedicated pet care experience, I treat every animal like a member of my own family. In addition to providing reliable dog walking and drop-in care, I currently work in professional animal care, volunteer at my local shelter, and am studying to become a veterinary assistant. This extensive background means I am highly skilled at reading animal body language, managing high-energy walks, and ensuring your pet stays safe and happy right in their own home. My goal is to keep your pet's daily routine perfectly on track and give you total peace of mind while you are out. My Availability for Walks & Drop-Ins My schedule is highly flexible and built around my animal care commitments. I am in class two days a week from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and I work my other animal care job on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays—but my work hours on those days are pretty flexible! Outside of my class times, I have plenty of availability throughout the week for morning, afternoon, and evening drop-in visits or walks. Whether you need a consistent mid-day break or a quick evening feeding, I can easily adjust my calendar to fit your pet's routine. Your pet's safety and comfort are my absolute top priorities. Because of my formal training as a future veterinary assistant and my experience volunteering at the shelter, I am highly attentive to animal behavior, body language, and home safety. During drop-ins and walks, I ensure your home remains secure, double-check that gates and doors are locked, and keep a watchful eye out for any potential hazards. You can trust that your furry family member will always be in safe, capable hands, receiving the same gentle care and respect that I would give to my own pets.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I rescued my first baby, Dory, a little over 5 years ago and my heart has never been more full. Since then I have rescued another dog and 2 cats. Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. Taking care of animals is second nature and something I’m truly passionate about. My animals are my world and I am excited to share that love with even more animals. I have a fenced in yard that my 2 dogs love to spend time in. They have an overflowing basket of toys that always seems to be scattered across the house and yard. We take them for walks around the neighborhood and every so often we take them for a hike.
“Jessica has been fantastic during drop-in visits for our dog Buddy! It was clear the second she walked in our home that she knows and loves dogs. Buddy was instantly comfortable with her thanks to her warm and welcoming demeanor. Knowing Buddy has someone that we can trust to drop-in while we are at work is very comforting. Highly recommend Jessica!!”

About: I’ve been an animal owner and caregiver since I was 15 years old. I currently have three dogs and one cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for different pets and personalities. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and would be enthusiastic and attentive while caring for your fur baby 🫶🏽 I work from home, current schedule is from 8am-430pm. It’s a pretty flexible job which allows me to take walks & play as needed 😊 When caring for pets in their home, I follow the owner’s routine so pets feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and meals on schedule. I also respect the home and provide updates so you know your fur baby is in good hands.
About: I have been around pets all my life's and mostly cats/dogs. I became a pet sitter and pet groomer after high school when I noticed i loved being around animals all the time. I feel more relaxed with a dog than I do meeting a new friend. Dogs and cats have been there when I needed them most. While working with pets I got to know basic training, puppy care and senior care too in my grooming classes I went too. Over time I expanded to groom snalled pets such as ferrets, guinea pigs, and small birds. I wake up around 8-9am feed my fur babies and then eat breakfast. 10am to 12pm clean any mess they made or clean around house. 1-2pm feed and eat lunch. 3pm-4pm watch a show or movie and cuddle on the couch with fur babies. 5-6pm start feeding dinner. 6-7pm go for a walk around the block. 8-9pm get ready for bed. I love having fur babies with me. They are more loving then people sometimes. I've had a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a ferret. My dream is to have a small farm one day.
“This was my first time having a sitter, and therefore my first time leaving my cat for a trip that was longer than a few days. Even though I was nervous, Ashley did a great job by ensuring me she was capable and excited to take care of my cat. While my cat doesn’t have any specific medical concerns, I do know she can be a bit finicky and I was worried about her not eating while I was away. Not only did my cat love Ashley and continued eating, I got updates even though I wasn’t able to view them for a while, due to international travel that I could look back at and know that she was well taken care of. My home and my cat were safe while I was on my vacation and I could be stress-free. If I ever need to travel again, I will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Willowick with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
