“Katelyn was so wonderful watching my girls for the first time. I was very nervous leaving them with her for the first time for in-house boarding but she made sure I got pictures and videos multiple times a day. My girls, Lola and Sadie, were so happy the entire time we were gone. Katelyn is completely trust worthy in caring for our girls. She will be our first go to for dog sitting in the future. In fact we have already booked her for the future! Thank you Katelyn for taking such good care of our girls.”

“Nancy was very accommodating after we discovered an error with our booking dates/times. We appreciated that very much! Came home to happy cats and dog.”

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“Morgan was exceptional from start to finish. Wrigley was lovingly cared for, and I appreciated receiving regular updates and photos. My apartment was left spotless, and my tomato plants were watered, just as I requested. I felt completely secure having Morgan stay at my place and look after everything. As someone who tends to get nervous leaving my cat with new people, Morgan's kindness and professionalism truly eased my concerns, and she did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Morgan to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I am an empty nester and would love to care for your four legged family members while you are away. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

“Sara is always very responsible and responsive. Super grateful to have her around - even when we surprised her with adding a week puppy to our stay request. Thank you so much Sara! 10 stars!”

“Amy was absolutely wonderful! We are happy to have found someone who we can trust with our pups. We will be using her services again! Thank you, Amy!”

“Jordan is reliable and trustworthy! An excellent communicator. Would be happy to recommend Jordan to anyone!”

“Simone had great communication and was amazingly flexible with our timing needs - during a holiday weekend on top of that! Having peace of mind while away was much appreciated. She was respectful and easy going. Would definitely have her back to watch my mischievous pittie anytime!”

About: I got my first dog when I was six, and growing up he was my best friend. I also had lizards, birds, fish, frogs, hamsters, and cats! Ever since then, I have always been passionate about helping dogs and other animals. I've taken care of many dogs and cats over the years of all sizes and ages, and now I want to make this passion my work. My favorite part about taking care of dogs is walking them. I have a Border Collie and know how to handle hyper and active dogs. I have experience taking care of disabled pets as well- I had a small dog that used a wheel chair for years and lived a happy life. All of my friends and family call me first when in need of a pet sitter because they know I'm capable and that I truly care. Whether you need walking, bathing, feeding, or someone to assist with your special needs pet, I have done it all and would love to help! I am available to walk your dog and take care of your pets any day of the week. So send me a message and I will respond quickly! First, I ask pet owners if there are any requirements or concerns to be aware of when I am entering their home to care for their pet. In addition, I always like to know what treats or activities their pets enjoy. For example, during an appointment, I will often greet pets with their favorite treat, check if they need water, take care of any potty or medical needs, and stimulate them with their favorite activity! Before leaving, I make sure I have performed all required tasks requested by the client.

“Alex was so amazing staying at the house with my dog! She sent lots of updates and was extremely flexible when my travel plans were delayed and she had to stay an extra night. I will definitely be using Alex again!”

“Natalie was an awesome & thoughtful caretaker of my sweet Ollie Polly & home. As a farrier, I imagine she's great with all kinds of animals (my dog is pretty shy) and she left my space tidy. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a reliable sitter. Really grateful I was able to connect with her last minute and go on my trip!”

“Carly was a more than exceptional pet sitter! She had such a calm, kind demeanor and asked great introduction questions. My three dogs are a bit anxious so it was a gift to have someone like Carly watching them when we were away. She gave us frequent updates and pictures of how the pups were doing and they looked so happy in each photo. Carly is a must for anyone who wants to be certain that their pets are being looked after with the utmost care. Would highly recommend her services and we definitely will be using them again ourselves! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Majesty was fantastic. Professional, respectful, reliable, accomodating. I felt totally relaxed and confident Jake was in good hands. Majesty sent updates and photos frequently and followed food and medication instructions perfectly. Highly recommended!!”

About: I have always helped take care of dogs since I was a child. I have had my own dogs for the majority of my adult life. I also took care of 9 dogs in the same home for 2 months straight, including daily walks, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, vet visits and every other dog care need you could imagine. 3 were senior dogs, 2 were on multiple medications with special needs. This past year I was flown out to Kauai to dog/house sit for 6 weeks with a total of 5 dogs. I currently do most of my work from home, I have a lard fenced in yard in the woods, nest to a river and trails. I have my own Bichon and we go on multiple walks around our neighborhood and to parks, everyday. She is very pampered and well taken care of, and this is how I like to treat all my fur friends. All of my sitting jobs have not been through this website yet and I am able to provide multiple references outside of this app, per request 😁

“Hello, I believe Dylan would make a great addition to Rover.com. He is a great pet owner, shows care and interacts with the animals. He has been walking dogs since he was a youngster and I would trust him with my dogs any time as I did way back when. One of my dogs attached herself to him and he responded to her with love and attention. It was adorable to watch. He has visited my area a few times and have seen him with his dog and mine and he pays attention to what they are doing and is respectful and responsive to their needs. I am so happy he will be doing this for other people and their pets.”

Brittany R.
“For as long as Brittany could speak I remember it as being "kitty", "birdy", "doggie", ect. She wanted to be a vet as a very young child. Then as she got a bit older an ocean biologist. Animals have always been one of her first loves, and I know that she has a heart of gold especially for dogs. I myself have 4 and with her Kipee we had 5 for a time when she stayed w\ us while attending college in Bridgton. I would highly recommend leaving any and all of my dogs with her as I have before. She is a loving, caring, sensitive, and very responsible care giver to animals as well as children. ”
