“Chance is THE BEST!! Highly recommend him. My cat is normally pretty shy but Chance is like the cat whisperer. This was a repeat booking and I plan to continue to use him in the future.”

About: I've had dogs of all sizes since I was young! I'm currently a mom to a very active senior pitbull and two cats. I have experience with giving medications including injections and I know the importance of preserving a stable routine for pups when their parents are away. I'm frequently the go-to dog watcher in my group of friends! I'm working part-time remotely and part-time in person in the evenings. I'm an early riser so that means I'm available for care throughout the day until about 4 and then available for evening care from 8pm on! I know daily routines are important so I will strive to keep your pet's routine the same to the best of my ability! I can check in for potty breaks, walks, playtime, whatever your pet needs!
“Anna took very good care of our boy George! Judging from the photos she sent he was very happy with her and had some good snuggle time. She fed him and cleaned his litter box, and we will certainly call her next time we're away!”

“Emily was wonderful in taking care of our two cats. She was prompt in sending us photos and even took the time to water our plants without us asking! We will definitely use her again! Caroline and Joe”

“Denise was fantastic. She was so patient with our senior dog who can be a bit stubborn and also suffers from some disorientation in his old age. We appreciate the peace of mind know she was stopping in to check on him and would highly recommend her.”

“Ludi was excellent with our Franco! She came over to meet us and then provided drop-ins while we were out of town. She sent pictures and detailed events of the drop-in visit. Franco adored her and we were so happy that he was content! Thanks Ludi!”

“Heather did an amazing job of watching my 3 cats while I traveled. They were well taken care of and loved. As a first time Rover user, I believe she went above and beyond what I expected and I will definitely rebook with her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10, and cats a little less, whether that be walking, pet sitting, or just overall care. They really are a mans best friend! I am currently a student with a flexible schedule. I am able to work around owners schedules to give their pet the best. Weekends and evenings are also good for me. When it comes to caring for pets I always follow the owners lead. I love to treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they have a fun time.

About: Hi. My name is Lisa. I am new to Rover but not to loving and caring for pets. I have always had a dog or cat (or fish, guinea pig or turtle). Currently, I have Winston, my almost 17 yr old minie doxie. Previously I was an SPCA volunteer dog walker. I have experience with many breeds/sizes/temperaments. I am quite flexible and offer walking and other drop-in services in the South Williamsport area. I am currently retired and have a pretty flexible schedule. I have a senior dog to care for at home (Winston, my almost 17 year old mini doxie.) I can care for your pets in your home and will follow care instructions thoroughly. I will work with you to ensure your pets needs are completely satisfied.
“Ivy was very reliable and responsive to all my instructions and kept me apprised of everything during and/or after each visit. She is a kind and caring person who strives to provide the best care for her clients. I always feel reassured that she will not only take good of my kitty but will be respectful of my home and provide excellent service. I highly recommend Ivy as a reliable, caring and trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Thankyou so much Mikenah. You have been the best to our sweet girl Sassie. I am so happy you we're the one we chose to care for our kitty. The level of care and lovins is unmatched. I don't easily trust people but you have exceeded our expectations. I know my Sassie will always be great in your hands. 10/10 book her. You won't regret it.”

About: Hi, my name is Sara Fox! I’m 30 years old! I’ve had dogs in my family since I could walk. I’m very flexible and if something comes up, I let you know ahead of time. I’ve done pet sitting for many years. My family and I have a boxer with lots of energy. I have a huge heart for dogs and dogs have been a huge part of my life. I enjoy doing anything outside and would be more than happy to take your dog(s) on hikes. I hope that you take into consideration what I have provided you and look forward to hearing from you soon! Enjoy your day! Thank you! I currently don't have my own animal. I take care of other's animals and have always been good with that. Hope to hear from you! I would treat any clients home like my own. I want to leave it the way the it was when I arrived at your home to take care of your animal(s).
About: I’ve taken care of animals, including dogs, cats, & fish for family members, family friends, and I have always been given good reports! I love animals so much! I’m working part-time, so I’m mostly available whenever! I’m almost always available to love on and care for your pets, just communicate with me on when and how your pets need care and we’ll make it work ◡̈ Safety and Trust: I always prioritize a Meet & Greet before booking. It lets me learn your dog’s specific quirks, house rules, and exact feeding or medication routines directly from you. When we go out for walks, my phone stays in my pocket and my eyes stay on your pup. I don't let strange dogs approach us, and I always double-check that collars and harnesses are securely fastened before opening the front door. Because I am house sitting, your pet gets to stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment, which naturally keeps their anxiety low while you are away. My Approach in Your Home: Since I don't have pets of my own, your pet gets 100% of my undivided attention and affection. I treat your home with total respect by keeping it clean, quiet, and secure exactly how you left it. When I'm in your space, my main goal is to maintain your dog's normal day to day routine so they barely even notice you're gone.
About: I’ve been caring for pets reliably and consistently since I was 15, and over the years I’ve built strong experience with cats and dogs of all ages and needs. What sets me apart is my experience with senior and special needs dogs and cats—I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness they require, whether it’s administering medications, helping them move around comfortably, or simply giving them calm companionship. I’m committed to treating every pet like my own, with a balance of love, structure, and reliability that gives owners peace of mind. As a self-employed person, I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day and week. I’m able to plan around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins, and I have the time to give pets consistent attention without feeling rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make safety and trust my top priorities. I carefully follow the pet’s established routine, from feeding schedules to walk routes, and make sure doors, leashes, and gates are always secure. During walks, I’m attentive to my surroundings and keep pets safe from hazards or unfamiliar animals. I also keep the home environment tidy and respectful, treating it with the same care I would my own. My goal is to give pets a comfortable, stress-free experience and give owners peace of mind knowing their pets and home are in responsible hands.

About: I volunteer at the SPCA walking dogs and caring for the cats. I'm a lover of all animals. I'm very clean and responsible and care for all animals as I would a family member. I'm currently working full-time, but I'm available after 4 and all weekends and holidays. I have a dog and fours cats of my own and this seems to work for them. They are very happy. I take my dog on long walks and provide him enrichment treats and toys. I always check when leaving to make sure that nothing is out he can hurt himself with. I'm also very strict on cleaning the cat boxes as I don't want them to get sick or smell up the house. I will clean up after your pets and I will make sure they are safe and happy.

“Madison is super trustworthy, followed all my instructions to the T, and communicated all throughout her drop ins! I will definitely book her, again, with a peace of mind if she’s available in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Williamsport
I couldn't have asked for a smoother and seemless process. We went away for about 3 days for a trip and our dogs were in the best of care. Anna was fantastic with replies and responses. Loved the pictures she sent and updates of how they were doing :)) Thank you so much and will definitely look for you in the future!!

Emily was amazing! We had some issues with the automatic feeders and she was so great with helping find their old bowls to fill up! She communicated often and I always felt super up to date with what my kitties were up to! Both my adult cat and kitten seemed to love her presence. 100 will be rebooking in the future :)
Ludi took absolutely amazing care of our cats while we were traveling. She is responsible, communicative, kind, and attentive, and you can really tell that the cats enjoyed spending time with her and were taken care of very well. Thank you so much for being awesome!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
