“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our sweet goldendoodle, Farley! Heather went above and beyond, caring for our old boy better than we could have ever imagined. She kept us updated with tons of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Farley was clearly loved, pampered, and treated like family. We will definitely be booking with Heather again—she’s the best!”

“Megan did a great job with Henrik. She sent plenty of pictures, and when I picked him up he was happy and tired (clearly well-exercised!). Megan was easy to communicate with and I will have Henrik stay with her in the future!”

“Liz and her family did an amazing job accommodating my Beagle Pitbull Mix Mollie ♥️. Sent lots of pictures and we're flexible with travel delays. I could tell she had a great time and was in safe, welcoming hands ✨♥️”

About: Since childhood, I have dedicated myself to the care of animals, finding immense joy and fulfillment in this endeavor due to my inherent affinity for them. Currently unemployed, my flexible schedule enables me to dedicate my time to the care of the animals. I am committed to ensuring that their needs are met. Although I do not have a fenced-in yard, I do have two dog runs. I will prioritize walking the dogs and ensuring their needs are met.
“Hopper had the best time! He loved being with Amy and Milo so much, he jumped out of the car and ran back to their house. Amy and her daughter were wonderful with our baby. 100% recommend them to watch your babies! Will definitely book again”

“Dannah is amazing! My anxious little guy warmed to her immediately and had a fantastic stay. Dannah is extremely communicative and responsive - she is truly one of the best sitters I've worked with.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10, and cats a little less, whether that be walking, pet sitting, or just overall care. They really are a mans best friend! I am currently a student with a flexible schedule. I am able to work around owners schedules to give their pet the best. Weekends and evenings are also good for me. When it comes to caring for pets I always follow the owners lead. I love to treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they have a fun time.
“Thank you so much for taking such great care of our girl! Julie updated us daily with pictures, videos and texts while we were on vacation. We had complete peace of mind, knowing Pepper was in good hands for the week.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Laura and it was such a blessing coming across her on Rover! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional and caring. My two fur babies took to her and her family right away, which put me at ease immediately. It’s very clear that she has a genuine love for animals, and my pups were well taken care of during their stay. Her communication was excellent throughout the stay as well! She kept me updated with many photos and messages, which I really appreciated! It was reassuring to know things were going well. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and caring dog sitter!”

“Erin is awesome. We have a Golden who gets very anxious and likes to be near a human at all times. Erin took amazing care of our dog. Excellent communication with us. Beautiful fenced yard & our dog had a blast playing with her dog. Highly recommend and have already made another booking.”

About: I've raised both of my dogs since they were puppies and understand how important consistency is. I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and discovering ways to connect with them. Dog hugs are just a plus! My pet care availability will typically be before 8am and after 4:30pm during the week. I would also consider overnight bookings during the week. Weekends, I am typically available at all times day and night. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I live in an area with a great walking trail and a dog park we can visit. I also have an available crate (Large) with a dog bed and plenty of dog food/treats to share.
“Alexandra has walked my dog for me in the past and just boarded him for the weekend for me too. If I could give her more than five stars- I would. She’s a sweetheart and I know my dog is always safe & entertained with her. She even went above and beyond and came and picked him up for me to make things easier. She sent pictures & videos throughout the whole weekend which we loved! I’d definitely recommend her and will always use her in the future. Thanks again Alex!!! ☺️”
“Linda was a wonderful sitter for our two high energy pups. We booked her over the holidays and she went above and beyond. She gave them all the care and affection they needed and was very open in her communication with us. Her dog Nio enjoyed the company of our dogs and was a great play mate for them. Based on how happy our dogs looked in the many photos she sent us, we would highly recommend Linda for your pet sitting needs.”

This was my first time ever leaving my puppy and I couldn’t have asked for a better puppy sitter! Madison was so thoughtful and caring— sending updates and pictures to help ease my own separation!! She was attentive, patient, accommodative, energetic, and it’s clear she loves dogs! I would highly recommend her and I will definitely be using her again soon!

Nicole was very sweet and responsive and accommodated every need, including taking them short notice and letting us pick our dogs up near 1am. She sent me pictures and did great with my anxious dog, i'm very pleased. My only issue arrises with my poodle, who came back with dirt spots and he smelled a bit like urine. obviously his fur is dense so that could've been due to rolling in it or getting peed on or a number of things. His crate also came back with a lollipop in it and it was quite sticky. she has children so i can see that happening on complete accident. Overall i recommend her, and the only thing that could be clearer was maybe some communication on both of our parts. Thank you so much for taking good care of my dogs!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
