“Last minute sitter who made it work. Showed up on time. Took pictures and sent them along with updates. Very appreciative of her taking the time to FaceTime to get info and see the layout.”

About: I’m a reliable and easygoing dog and cat sitter who really enjoys being around animals. I’ve had both dogs and cats for over 10 years, so I’m comfortable with their different needs and personalities. I also have caregiving experience, which has helped me become patient, responsible, and good at paying attention to details. I like staying active, so I’m always happy to take dogs on walks and play with them, and I make sure cats feel comfortable and relaxed too. I follow instructions closely and keep good communication so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My schedule fluctuates daily, so I’m flexible with same-day appointments. I’ll do my utmost to accommodate your pets on any day of the week! I provide my dog with daily walks and administer medication and schedule vet visits as needed. My cat receives additional playtime with me, but if she shows signs of detachment, it’s important to respect her personal space.
“Sara is always great with my girls! I love the peace of mind she offers, making sure they are well cared for during my long days at work. She is also very accommodating and flexible! Couldn’t be more satisfied!”

I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with walking, feeding, bathing, and general pet care. I’m very patient, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s needs, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it’s an energetic dog or a more independent cat, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m a student with a flexible summer schedule, so I’m able to give pets lots of attention and care. I’m available most days and can work around my class and work schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings depending on the day. I’m happy to be flexible and communicate to find times that work best for you and your pet. I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I’m very attentive and make sure to follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any specific care preferences. I create a calm and safe environment and take the time to make sure each pet feels comfortable and secure, whether in your home or during walks.
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. I’m an avid runner and LOVE to be outside so I’m happy to provide short or long walks for your animal. During summer months, my availability is based largely on your needs.

Williamsburg cat parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t be happier with the care Sara Q provided while we were away. She came every single day—even in heavy snow—to make sure our cats were well cared for and comfortable. Her dedication truly went above and beyond. Sara took care of everything: feeding and caring for our cats, bringing in our mail, and watering our plants. She was extremely informative and communicative, always letting us know if anyone came by the house or if there were any happenings we should be aware of. That level of transparency gave us real peace of mind. Her professionalism, thoroughness, and attention to detail really stood out. It’s clear she has excellent knowledge of cat care and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We came home to happy cats and a well-kept home. We highly recommend Sara Q and would absolutely trust her again in the future!
