About: I've been working with dogs since high school. First volunteering at the shelter and working at a daycare (mainly with dogs) and then progressing into some training. I've been working with cats almost all my life, fostering, volunteering and then eventually having my own!! I'm comfortable adminteresting meds to cats (oral, or inhalers) and walking moderate reactive dogs. I have a flexable schedule, generally with more availability during the evening 2-6pm and mornings 6-7am. If you are flexable on times we can make it work! I offer a meet and greet to allow everyone to meet and to go over any directions, and locations of items. This gives time for your pets to get to know me and for any questions to be asked. I love to read, and have found great success with pet parents who leave written instructions and contact numbers.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.

About: Since I’ve been living on my own, I’ve had 3 dogs. Three Golden Retrievers over the last 30+ years. They are the best animals and I will take care of your dog as if it was my own. I can take care of animals Friday nights and all day Saturday and Sunday. I am available to stay over to watch animals on Friday and Saturday nights. I can come by houses to walk dogs or feed animals anytime after 5:30 during the week from Monday to Friday. I will come to your house and walk dogs, feed animals, and even clean litter boxes if needed during the work week. On Friday and Saturday nights, I can stay over.

About: when you choose me as your pet sitter, you have nothing to worry about. I care for all pets as if they're my own. I live in an apartment and I'm currently only available to do boarding with one dogs but will consider two if they are bonded pair. before any boarding or housesitting services confirmed, I require we meet in person to ensure all the details are understood and that your dogs are OK with my dog. I have a 30 pound beagle mix named Daisy who is three years old and she will be with me at all times. I am always available for drop in visits and dog walking. prices fluctuate due to various factors but the main ones these days are gas prices and distance of travel. I.e The farther away you are the more likely there is that a added fee will occur before confirmation of service. I provide pet care in services full-time as of November 2021. I am available at any time if you need me. i'm currently available for the following services: housesitting, pet boarding, drop in visit, dog walking for 30 minutes or 60 minutes, and one on one dog training. if your dog is with me, I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly. We have two dog parks and I am often at these dog parks at least once a day. However if you have a dog that is not comfortable with that I would not take them there. I would focus on other activities that are more suited to your pet. I also take a lot of pictures and I am constantly in contact with you so you don't have to worry where or what we're doing. I currently work as a therapist with an office in the Madison area, right next to the plow and hearth. My schedule is pretty flexible and it changes weekly as my client needs change. I am almost always around, that makes me a great person for any last minute bookings needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of affection, daily walks, and playtime tailored to your pet’s needs. I keep the space clean, secure, and low-stress, with my own well-behaved dog Daisy as a companion if your pet is comfortable. When staying in your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, maintain regular updates, and work to ensure your pet feels safe and cared for in their familiar environment. I aim to build trust with both pets and their people every step of the way.
