About: I’ve had various pets my entire life (mainly cats) and have always loved caring for all animals. I grew up around families with dogs, so I’m extremely comfortable caring for dogs as well and have pet-sat many dogs over the years. At one point, I had 12 cats, so I’m able to care for multiple pets and keep up with their individual needs. I’ve also cared for two senior cats and understand the extra patience and attention older pets may need. I’ve rescued and cared for kittens, including helping them feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I also have experience caring for a cat who needed medication and experienced seizures, which taught me the importance of following care instructions carefully, paying close attention to changes in behavior, and staying calm when a pet needs extra care. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for and keep an eye on your pet. I’m usually available throughout the day for walks and other services. If my availability ever changes, I’ll make sure to communicate that ahead of time. I currently offer dog walking and house sitting services. When house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet stays comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own home. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated while you’re away. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
