“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”
“Daniel and his wife did an exceptional job with my dog Bandit. I was so nervous, Bandit is 8.5 years old and had never been with anyone alone. He did phenomenal with him giving me updates and texts with photos. Made me feel at ease. I had just recently moved to the area and knew nobody had to be an away for a long weekend which required a need for Bandit to be in care. This was just what I was looking for. Very conveniently located also. Would recommend and plan to book again in the future.”
“We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our 2-year-old Cavapoo, Ollie, with a sitter for the first time, but Sylvia put our minds at ease the moment we met her. She is incredibly caring and attentive. I loved receiving the photo updates showing Ollie happy and enjoying his stay—it meant I didn't have to worry about him at all! I can’t recommend Sylvia enough for anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”
“Amy is amazing. She is kind and flexible and has done amazing job caring for Kalooki. We don’t have to feel guilty about leaving her behind because she is always excited to visit and has a great time either Amy’s family and the other pets to have fun with. Amy sends great photos and videos along the way that give us insights into her daily activities and friendships. She always comes home from her “vacations” exhausted in a good way, which is the best outcome of vacations for her humans too. Highly recommend!”
“Carlie and her husband were an excellent pet sitters for our Jack Russell dog. They were very caring, reliable and accommodating to our schedule. We traveled from New York and be were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pet because she was in good hands.”
“Staying with Kelly and her family was perfect for Eva. She and Kelly’s dog, Charlie had a great time together. Just as I had hoped, she was totally wiped out from all the running and playing.”
“Jill was a great host for our pup! She sent lots of pictures and made sure Luna got all the love and attention she needed. As a good bonus there were a few other dogs, so Luna always had buddy, and Jill was great with managing the dog introductions and making sure everyone played well together.”
“Megan watched our Charlotte and kept us up-to date with her activities. She cared for Charlotte as if she was her own! This was definitely an upgrade to leaving her at a kennel. Megan is super kind and thoughtful. Our Charlotte loved her vacation so we could, stress free, enjoy ours.”
“Bullet loves staying with brenda. She has a beautiful big backyard for him to run around in and he loves the company she is able to provide while watching him. I wouldn't even consider anyone else if brenda is available!”
“Michelle was very attentive to our dog Mickey and took him on many walks which they both enjoyed. We loved getting lots of photos of Mickey and, when we picked him up, he was brushed so nicely that he almost looked groomed.”

About: ❗️❗️🙂 CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS🙂❗️❗️ I've been working for Rover since 2017, and I can truly say that I adore this job! I mainly specialize in working with dogs and cats, however I am willing to work with different kinds of animals if needed. I'm also a Washington DC native, who has recently moved to Salisbury, Maryland 💛🖤❤️🤍 ⚠️❗️❗️UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2024❗️❗️⚠️: If you are new client and need someone for a extended stay Home Sitting, the longest I will be willing to stay is 3 to 5 days. Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.
“Jill has been absolutely wonderful with my dog! She truly loves him like her own, which gives me so much peace of mind. Throughout the day, she sends lots of updates and messages, so I always know how he’s doing and can see how happy he is. When he gets home, he’s exhausted from all the fun and attention he’s had. She even sends special treats home, which is such a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend Jill for anyone looking for caring and reliable doggy day care!”
“Absolutely wonderful! Daniel, and his wife were the absolute best w/ our baby. They were sweet and patient with her, and Azura was right at home with them. I highly recommend them! Many thanks to them for being such great hoomans! :-)”
About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care. Pets in my care can enjoy walks in your yard or around your neighborhood depending on what they are comfortable with. We also have a spacious yard that gives dogs plenty of room to move around and stretch their legs. Our home is calm and family oriented. Pets are always supervised and included in daily life. I make sure they feel comfortable, settled, and part of the environment while they are here.

Happy to provide drop in visits to make sure pets are fed, watered, given potty breaks (and litter boxes if needed), and of course lots of love when you're away!

About: I’ve had various pets my entire life (mainly cats) and have always loved caring for all animals. I grew up around families with dogs, so I’m extremely comfortable caring for dogs as well and have pet-sat many dogs over the years. At one point, I had 12 cats, so I’m able to care for multiple pets and keep up with their individual needs. I’ve also cared for two senior cats and understand the extra patience and attention older pets may need. I’ve rescued and cared for kittens, including helping them feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I also have experience caring for a cat who needed medication and experienced seizures, which taught me the importance of following care instructions carefully, paying close attention to changes in behavior, and staying calm when a pet needs extra care. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for and keep an eye on your pet. I’m usually available throughout the day for walks and other services. If my availability ever changes, I’ll make sure to communicate that ahead of time. I currently offer dog walking and house sitting services. When house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet stays comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own home. I’ll follow your instructions closely and keep you updated while you’re away. I will also treat your property as if it were my own!
“Lacy was absolutely wonderful with my dog Raven. She took the time to do a meet and greet and asked a lot of questions to get to know my dogs routine. She was on time and provided great communication about how the walks went with Raven. I could see that Raven was well taken care of. I will definately use Lacy again for my dog care needs. Thank you so much!”

About: Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a dedicated animal lover. I have an intense passion for animals that stems from being surround by them at a young age. In my free time I like to learn details about different dog breeds such as the best environment for them, common health issues, grooming needs, and training methods. This hobby came in handy when I decided to pursue an education to become a veterinary technician. Here's what I offer when it comes to dog walking. Having my own supplies I am always prepared to scoop up some poop. I will use the entire 30 minutes to allow your dog adequate time to use the restroom. During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. I can teach your dog fundamental commands such as sit, leave it, kennel up, and come. Thank you for your time. I look forward to scheduling our meet and greet. 😁 I am available after 3pm and have open availability Friday and Saturday. Need a same-day visit? Feel free to send a request and I'll see what I can do for you. Your pet will be in safe hands. I will follow your instructions on how you want the pet handled. Such as if you want your pet outside for most of the visit then I will do so.

I had no worries during my trip about my dog being cared for b/c I know my dog was in good hands. I dropped a list minutes book and she responded quickly, which we are very appreciative for.”
“Cheko had another great visit with Jenna. They played at the park and had a wonderful together to the point that he has pretty much slept since I brought him home.”
“Johanna cared for Maggie like her own! Mags seemed to have a wonderful time, was happy and calm when we picked her up. Safe home. Look forward to having Maggie with Johanna in the future!”
