I have been a responsible pet owner since a young age. Professionally, I have worked as an animal curator and veterinary assistant and am certified by the Red Cross in pet first aid. I have cared for many types of creatures, great and small, and thoroughly enjoy making new fur friends! I love giving belly rubs, scratching backs, and a good game of fetch. I'll treat your pet like what they are, - my newest friend! I am self-employed and am able to offer complete flexibility in my schedule and availability. I work from home and am available for pet care continuously. As such I am easily able to care for animals who require more attention, such as puppies or senior animals. I have a large fenced-in backyard with 400 feet of 6-ft privacy fence. Playtime is supervised and occurs often. Pets are with a human at all times, or are put in a crate temporarily for their own safety - for example, if I have to administer medication to another animal.

Kate and her daughter were absolutely wonderful with my very shy cat! They were incredibly patient and sweet with him, and by the end of the week he was coming out of hiding, letting them pet him, and loving on them — which is HUGE for him! They took great care of everything and kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout the week, which gave me such peace of mind. I would absolutely trust them with him again and highly recommend them!
Kate and her daughter were wonderful to our little Cricket. I was immediately put at ease when I dropped him off because they were so warm and caring. She has excellent communication and sent us lots of updates and pictures during his stay. She took great care of him and we picked up one happy doggie after our vacation. Thank you Kate!

Kate took wonderful care of our two kitties while we were away for three nights. She was reliable, communicative, and gave us peace of mind knowing our cats were in good hands. A typical day
My home is a dog's sanctuary! We have lots of treats, a huge fenced-in backyard, and plenty of belly rubs to go along. For walks, there is a park nearby with streams to walk beside and explore.
