About: I live on a farm back home & have over a decade of animal care of all kinds! I have many farm cats and two dogs at home, as well as two cats that live with me! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes & would love to spend time with your best friend! I would especially love to hang out with dogs as I don’t want to get my own until I can give them a fenced in yard:) My boyfriend Gabe also helps out with the pet care! I am pretty free all summer & I can give as much or as little attention as your pet requires! I’m available to do random walks throughout the day or stay full time at your residence to give 24/7 care to your pet. I would like to follow your routine as much as possible, so honestly whatever you do with your pet I will copy! It’s important to keep their routines from changing frequently!

About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

About: I currently work at an animal rescue. I spend a lot of my time caring for animals of all medical and behavioral needs. I have worked in the animals industry for 5 years, with 2 of them being a shift lead at a boarding, daycare, and grooming facility for dogs and cats. I grew up around dogs and treat every animal as if they are my own! I even have my own rescue dog, Nova and a cat named Jerry! :) I have graduated from the University of Iowa and work in animal rescue full time assisting the directors. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. About: I started my journey working at a doggy care, interacting, playing with, care the dogs. For the last couple years, I have been at the animal shelter. I have experience in emergency medical care for both cats and dogs. Your pet will be safe with me, in every way. I can give you peace of mind. About: I've had animals in my family since I was a kid so I am very familiar and comfortable around all sorts of animals. I have cared for dogs of all sizes. Such as Shia tzus, Golden Retrievers, Australian Shepards, and German Shepards.I have experience giving a cat insulin and providing medicine day and night to both dogs and cats. I have taken care of puppies and older dogs. I have stayed the night at friend's houses when pet sitting and I have no fears of any kind of animal. I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I do play pickleball about 5 times a week and workout but those are activities that can be moved around to best fit your schedule. Pickleball is only about 3 hours of my day so it won't interfere with any pet duties I may have. In my home we use a company called Halo to keep my dog in my lawn so I am familiar with electric fences its technology. I always stay outside when letting my dog out for the bathroom and know how to work a leash when talking them on walks. I clean litter boxes and pick up poop. I have experience taking care of pets in their home but since I have animals of my own and no fence, I will not be available to take care of pets in my home.

About: Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I am a huge animal lover. I am located in Cedar Rapids and almost always available. I have about 15 years of experience with both cats & dogs and have 4 dogs of my own. I have 3 little girls who are 5, 4, and 9 months 😊 We live in a ranch style home and have a fenced in backyard. I am an active person and will give your pet plenty of love and attention. I will also take dogs on walks if they enjoy that. I have never had an owner unhappy with their pets stay. I work from home so I will be there most of the time to make sure you fur baby gets plenty of attention and play time! I have a fenced in yard so dogs can be out there and play around as much as they want to when we’re home. If they enjoy playing with other dogs I have 1 bigger one and 3 smaller ones. They will be crated whenever we are not home to ensure they’re safe unless they’re used to free roaming and won’t have accidents or be destructive.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! My family has had two doodles, and I also care for my sisters golden retriever when she goes away! I helped care for my family dog until the day he passed away, and helped train our new puppy when we welcomed her into the crew. I’m pretty flexible, and my class schedule is a little different every day, so I am able to make just about anything work for you and your dog! I’m very used to caring for dogs and keeping a safe environment (putting things back on counters, away, making sure they have their collar on, etc) as I have been living with a dog since I was around 4-5! I have been with puppies and senior dogs and love them all! I want to help however I can so your pet gets the care and attention it deserves.

About: I have taken care of cats all my life and have taken care of dogs the last 15 years. I love pets and would love to meet yours. I do have a sweet kitty that gets along with dogs - she is a little picky about being around cats, but I have rooms they could stay in if necessary. I have also cared for my sister's cat that has diabetes, so I am familiar with giving insulin shots and the day to day care for these type of pets. I currently work from home during the week so I am able to hang out with your pets all day long. I am also able to take them for walks over my lunch break or let them out if they are at your home. About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.

About: Experienced in walking all size dogs and looking for a walking buddies on regular basis in the Cedar Rapids area in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule I am looking for a dog to walk anywhere from 2 to 4 miles depending on the dog and day and can be flexible with the time. I do have a fenced yard and can entertain at my house for short periods of time. But I am willing to take care of each individual dog depending on its regular routine.
