About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.

About: Drop ins: I’ll take your dog on a little walk before feeding them and spending time with your little furry love (20-30 minutes or so) Walking: I’ll take your pooch for a walk and/or run for as long as they require. House sitting: we will go on walks, snuggle, eat and I will be respectful of the owners home- clean up after myself and the animal so you come home to a nice clean home and you don’t have to rush to take care of your beloved fur baby! Boarding: not my preferred method of watching your pooch but if it’s absolutely needed, I can accommodate to make your pooch feel warm and welcome in my home.I have 2 large male dogs and a 2 year old- they’re great but getting older and less tolerant of other dogs.

About: I provide personalized care, puppy training support, and gentle senior care, ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable while maintaining routines and clear communication. I’m currently working part-time as a dog daycare attendant, and pet care fits naturally into my routine with daily walks, feeding, playtime, and reliable experience. I follow pets’ routines per the client for feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, and medications, keeping spaces clean and safe while providing care in the client’s home.

About: I've taken care of dogs specifically since I was like 5. Whether it was a friend's dog, a family members or my own. Cats I have taken care of since I was 8. Changing litter? Done. Walking dogs? Done. Training? I do that too! I actually trained my own service dog who has since retired. Feed and water? Of course! Gotta get the essentials. Following directions, I will follow how YOU want your pet(s) taken care of. I have dealt with chihuahuas to great Danes to dogs bigger than that! No animal is too small. I will pick up messes, play with them, train them if you want, and obviously feed and water them. I can even stay over night with a pet if needed! I know some pets need extra support when their humans are a away, and I understand that may mean me staying over night. I have two dogs and two cats. I take care of the two dogs on a daily basis. Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

About: I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience, and an Equissage-certified canine massage therapist. I notice things most pet sitters don’t. I understand that boarding can disrupt a dog’s nervous system. Some dogs do better at home while you’re away, and my massage therapy background means I have techniques that genuinely help calm and settle an anxious or overstimulated dog in their own environment. During drop-in visits and walks, I’m assessing your dog the whole time. Gait, energy, behavior, subtle signs that something’s off. You’ll hear about it either way. I’m experienced with medically complex dogs, seniors, and anxious dogs, and equally comfortable with your healthy, bouncy lab who just needs a solid walk. Cats are absolutely welcome. Cat owners, I see you. Your cat has a whole life, a whole routine, and very strong opinions. I get it. Fill me in on the Royal Treatment and I’ll do my best to make sure it happens. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend(s) soon. 🐾 I offer drop-in visits and dog walks seven days a week. Visits are typically 30 minutes. I send updates with photos at every visit so you know exactly how things are going. I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. This is for my own safety.

Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. About: Hello I’m Joy. I live in Oxford where I work remote for the University of Iowa. I have been passionate about pets my whole life! My family always had pets; dogs, cats, birds, etc while I was growing up. I am very outgoing, I love taking my dog Rosy to the parks and on walks. I want to see more happy more happy tails in the neighborhood! I’m looking forward to meeting your pup, and getting them out for much needed exercise or just some nice couch cuddles and scratches! I work remote from the University of Iowa, so I’m at your pets beck and call! Just my chihuahua mix, Rosy and I will take at least 2 walks a day. I am flexible to what your pet needs; lots of walks to lap time cuddles! My apartment has a generous front and backyard, as well as plenty of sidewalk paths for walks in every direction. I have crates if your pet finds kenneling comfortable, or many sizes of dog beds in most every corner.

About: I currently work at an animal rescue. I spend a lot of my time caring for animals of all medical and behavioral needs. I have worked in the animals industry for 5 years, with 2 of them being a shift lead at a boarding, daycare, and grooming facility for dogs and cats. I grew up around dogs and treat every animal as if they are my own! I even have my own rescue dog, Nova and a cat named Jerry! :) I have graduated from the University of Iowa and work in animal rescue full time assisting the directors. About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I will provide the love and care that your dog desires. There will be lots of cuddling, walking, and playing. I have been pet sitting and taking care of animals for an upwards of 14 years, staying with my neighbors dogs and caring for my own. I am an energetic person who loves to exercise and be outdoors. About: Experienced in walking all size dogs and looking for a walking buddies on regular basis in the Cedar Rapids area in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule I am looking for a dog to walk anywhere from 2 to 4 miles depending on the dog and day and can be flexible with the time. I do have a fenced yard and can entertain at my house for short periods of time. But I am willing to take care of each individual dog depending on its regular routine.
