“Shawna and Hannah were wonderful sitters for our dog. They kept her entertained and she made herself right at home with them. She loved it so much she didn’t want to leave when we picked her up! Will definitely be booking with them again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for communicative and reliable sitters.”
“Chloe’s kennels were perfect for my pupper. Plenty of space to run around and the kennels were separated by a fence so he was able to smell and greet the other dogs. He slept the entire day after he got home! Will use again!”

“Steve was fantastic for Danny Boy! Several updates with photos each day and very conscious of Danny’s needs. Prompt replies to texts and questions. Daily walks at nearby parks and evening fetch in the yard. Steve’s home is well-suited for hosting animals and Danny was very comfortable. I picked up a healthy and happy boy on the final day!”

“Aryal is very knowledgeable and has a great setup for hosting kitties! She took excellent care of both cats and helped one get recover from an eye infection. I also appreciate the detailed updates and photos! Thank you so much for your help!”

“She took amazing personal care of my dog, and highly recommend to anyone that wants their pet well taken care of while they're away. She also gave daily updates and pics of my dog while under her care which was greatly appreciated.”

“Amanda’s communication was excellent and we discussed my dog’s feeding schedule and needs and she made sure to accommodate. I also received several cute photos during his stay. I could tell he was happy when I went to pick him up. Definitely recommend!”

“We think Erin is great and would book again. It’s nice knowing you can leave town and your pet is well taken care of. Erin sent us pictures of Winston while we were away and that was so nice because we sure missed our boy! When we got home Winston got to play with other pups and he loves that, I think he was sad he had to come home.”

“Our experience with Jamie was fantastic. This was our first time utilizing Rover services for our dog Ruby. Jamie sent pictures and updates each day. It was such a reassurance knowing Ruby was so well cared for and loved. I highly recommend Jamie!!”

“Pam watched our Standard Poodle for 8 nights. We had an absolutely amazing experience! She was outstanding from start to finish, her communication was consistent and thoughtful, with daily updates and photos that gave us so much peace of mind. Sansa was clearly so well cared for, she got daily walks, tons of attention, and was honestly spoiled in the best way. It was obvious she was treated like part of the family. Her home is beautiful and very well maintained, and you can truly tell she loves what she does. That kind of genuine care is hard to find. We will 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust with their pet.”

“I was nervous using Rover as it was our first time. Aimee watched my dog for 9 nights and she and her family did an amazing job looking after our dog, including walks and playtime. I highly recommend Aimee as she is a caring and compassionate provider.”

“Was out of the country for the week and this was my first time using Rover. Brie had amazing communication and took very good care of my cats! My super shy kitty even let her pet her by the end of the week, which is huge because she doesn’t come out for anyone. They were in very good hands!”

“We’ve been using Maddie for about a year now, possibly longer. It’s great knowing that we have someone we trust anytime we need to head out of town or have something pop up. She does an amazing job with the kitties and we love having her!”

“We were extremely happy with the care Amanda provided for our three cats, one of which required an insulin injection twice a day. It was rather short notice on our part due to a sitter canceling. Amanda did everything we asked, and then some — and provided photos and reports after each visit, which added to our peace of mind. I suspect she is an animal whisperer because our very shy girl cat made several appearances, which is rare. Thank you Amanda!”

“Carol was great! She provided pictures and updates during her drop in visits. She kept my cats food topped off, left fresh water and wet treats for them, and cleaned their litter boxes. She is easy to work with; I would definitely rebook with her!”

It was obvious how much she truly cares about animals, and Walter absolutely adored her. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

About: My two Bernese Mountain Dogs both recently passed and while I am not yet ready to get another pet, I miss having a pet and would enjoy taking care of yours. I'm a 58 year old male who has taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. Had cats as a child and got my 1st cat in college, a brown tabby named Marty and have loved cats ever since.

My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.

“My 9 year old, handicapped, German Shepard, little lady had an awesome time with Aryl, her pack and her family! We've already booked another stay. 🥰 This stay took place over overnight for 7 consecutive nights while I was at work. This was the first time not to allow her to stay at home alone. After a few rough nights alone, getting stuck a couple times, and then not able to make it through the night without apotty break, I knew I needed to find someone. Because Miss Black has lost use of her hind legs and is now in a wheelchair her care is a little more complex. Aryl administered her medication, assisted as needed going potty, and kept her cleaned up and smelling fresh every morning. This has been such a relief knowing she is in good hands. It gave me such peace of mind while I was working. Aryl didn't have any problems reading her communication signs. Even when she had other Rover dogs over, she was able to give Miss Black everything she needed. I believe Aryl's past experiences have given her the insight she needed to provide great care. Instead of wondering what I was going to walk into after a long shift, I was greeted by my smiling pup right inside the door.”

“This was our first time doing Rover and Amanda made us feel confident that we were leaving our puppy in good hands. Amanda and her family were amazing from start to finish. We would definitely recommend her to anyone we know.”

“Myle was great at taking care of my dog! She made sure he was comfortable around her other dogs. Myla also kept me updated on how he was doing and sent lots of pics and videos of him throughout the day. Will definitely book with her again! Thank you again Myle!!”

About: Family and Friends have called me the “dog whisperer”, because I am able to connect with their pets so easily. I feel pets are such a big part of your family; your baby, your little one, or your child almost. You would be entrusting me with the care of this most precious part of your family. I love to be down on the floor giving the fur babies my undivided attention … whether it be petting, playing, belly scratching, brushing, or loving on your fur baby. I Love to be face-to-face and making a connection with the pets. I am also a walker myself, so I I love to be outside walking your pets. I work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible. My schedule is able to be put on hold for periods of time, if more time and attention are required or needed. I am able to leave to walk your fur baby, pet-sit at your place, or take care of your fur baby at my home. Pet care is as on-hands and giving as much attention to your fur baby as you wish. I am ready to love them as much as they want and need. I do live in an apartment with places surrounding the building to take dogs outside to potty. There is a new dog park just a block from where I reside. My building is a secure building that is locked with cameras everywhere in the hallways. There are long hallways in my building with very few residents and lots of room to run inside when weather outside is not good. I am able to leave as often as needed to walk dogs. Also, I am able to care for your fur babies in their own home or at my residence.

If you are requesting house sitting M-F please be aware that I work full time days so it's basically just drop-ins and my house sitting does not include sleeping overnight at your home. About: I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience, and an Equissage-certified canine massage therapist. I notice things most pet sitters don’t. I understand that boarding can disrupt a dog’s nervous system. Some dogs do better at home while you’re away, and my massage therapy background means I have techniques that genuinely help calm and settle an anxious or overstimulated dog in their own environment. During drop-in visits and walks, I’m assessing your dog the whole time. Gait, energy, behavior, subtle signs that something’s off. You’ll hear about it either way. I’m experienced with medically complex dogs, seniors, and anxious dogs, and equally comfortable with your healthy, bouncy lab who just needs a solid walk. Cats are absolutely welcome. Cat owners, I see you. Your cat has a whole life, a whole routine, and very strong opinions. I get it. Fill me in on the Royal Treatment and I’ll do my best to make sure it happens. I look forward to meeting you and your animal friend(s) soon. 🐾 I offer drop-in visits and dog walks seven days a week. Visits are typically 30 minutes. I send updates with photos at every visit so you know exactly how things are going. I’m a veterinary technician with emergency and critical care experience. I know how to recognize when something is wrong and what to do about it. All dogs are kept leashed on walks unless we are in a securely fenced area. If your dog jumps fences, we do not go off leash outside. I do not combine your dog with unfamiliar dogs without prior owner approval. I come to you. Drop-in visits and walks take place in your home and neighborhood, which means your dog stays in a familiar environment with their own smells, sounds, and routine intact. I treat every client’s home with respect and leave it exactly as I found it. For drop-in visits that occur at dark or during nighttime hours, I may occasionally have another person with me. This is for my own safety.

About: I've had animals in my family since I was a kid so I am very familiar and comfortable around all sorts of animals. I have cared for dogs of all sizes. I am currently not working so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I do play pickleball about 5 times a week and workout but those are activities that can be moved around to best fit your schedule. Pickleball is only about 3 hours of my day so it won't interfere with any pet duties I may have. In my home we use a company called Halo to keep my dog in my lawn so I am familiar with electric fences its technology. I always stay outside when letting my dog out for the bathroom and know how to work a leash when talking them on walks. I clean litter boxes and pick up poop. I have experience taking care of pets in their home but since I have animals of my own and no fence, I will not be available to take care of pets in my home.

I have a fenced in yard so dogs can be out there and play around as much as they want to when we’re home. If they enjoy playing with other dogs I have 1 bigger one and 3 smaller ones. They will be crated whenever we are not home to ensure they’re safe unless they’re used to free roaming and won’t have accidents or be destructive.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large breeds, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I spent years volunteering with All Breed Rescue & Training in Colorado, where I gained experience supporting rescued dogs. For a year, I traveled across the country providing in-home pet care through TrustedHousesitters, staying with pets in exchange for room and board. This allowed me to care for dogs in many different homes, routines, and regions—learning how important consistency, communication, and trust are when owners are away. Today, I share my home with my own small dog, so I understand firsthand how much your pet means to you. Whether your dog needs playtime, structured walks, companionship, or just a calm and reliable presence, I treat every animal like they’re part of my family. I currently work remotely from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available for drop in visits and walks in the middle of the day and check in on your baby. I treat every dog like my own but also respect every dog's individual needs. Whatever approach or structure is needed to make your pet happy, I am happy to follow.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire adult life and have been caring for dogs for over 20 years. I currently have a 9-year-old Boston Terrier who is truly the love of my life, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. I’m attentive, patient, and very tuned in to dogs’ individual needs and personalities. I love giving dogs plenty of time outside with walks, hikes, and safe play, along with calm companionship and structure. I’m experienced with basic obedience and fun training, including sit, stay, shake, lie down, roll over, heel, and more. I’m comfortable reinforcing routines, providing mental stimulation, and making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog is high-energy or more laid-back, I meet them where they are and treat them like they’re my own. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize dog care throughout the day. As a photographer, I can plan my shoots around walks, drop-ins, and check-ins, and I don’t have many long, all-day commitments this year. This means I’m available for consistent walks, extended visits, and quality one-on-one time. I love being active and would genuinely enjoy filling my schedule with caring for dogs and keeping them happy, exercised, and well attended to. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, routine, and clear communication. I follow all instructions carefully, respect your home, and make sure your dog feels comfortable and secure at all times. I’m attentive on walks, mindful of surroundings, and experienced with leash handling and basic training cues. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and notes so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.
