“Being a first time user, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. They were excellent, kept me updated, sent pictures and videos throughout their stay. Will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have always had pets in my life. From rescued dogs I would fine abandoned on the side of the road to horses who were about to be euthanized by our local rancher. Cats, kittens, puppies and adult senior dogs always have a place in my heart and home. I am an adopter and rescuer. I would love to help you with potty breaks to walks. Feeding to medication administration. Let me know what you need help with and I’ll be there. I’m currently looking to help pet owners as I have been in situations where I needed help with drop ins for potty breaks to needing someone to walk my dog while I was at work. I’m familiar and comfortable with doing all of the above along with giving oral or topical medication. I’m recently retired and would love to spend time helping out. I am very familiar with dogs and cats and all that goes along with making sure they’re comfortable and well taken care of care of.
“Joe Ann was a fabulous sitter for our 2 year old golden retriever. She showed care and loving attention which eased our minds while we were away. This was our first time leaving our fur baby for an extended vacation and we felt confident that she was being well taken care of. Our home was vacuumed, dusted and the bed linens washed when we returned. We Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Joe Ann worked together with her daughter Emily who is also listed on Rover.”

“Craig was amazing! Had him housesit with our two dogs for 3 nights and he was so great about sending tons of updates/ pictures. My dogs seemed to really love him. Would 100% recommend!”

“Aspen was truly great with my pup. She kept me updated and I was super happy to receive pictures of her and my pup together. You can tell she is really good with dogs. Highly recommend Aspen!!!!”

“Rachel is awesome! She put up with my problem furchildren so I could enjoy a weekend with my human children. As a very successful rover sitter myself, I hope this review holds extra weight because Rachel deserves it! I look forward to using her services again and even referring some of my clients to her when I can't help them. Hire Rachel, she's a good one!”

About: I am currently a veterinary assistant, so I am comfortable paying close attention to an animal’s behavior, routine, and overall well-being. I also have experience working as a behavioral training assistant and dog walker at a humane society, where I worked with dogs that had many different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, and I understand how important patience, consistency, and a calm environment can be for pets who may feel stressed when their owners are away. Through my behavioral training experience, I have also practiced working with dogs on basic manners, confidence-building, and adjusting my approach based on each dog’s personality. I also have practice giving medications and assisting with vaccines, so I am comfortable following specific care instructions and making sure each pet receives the attention they need. Overall, I try to treat every pet like they are my own while still respecting the routine and expectations their owner has already built. Whether a pet needs extra playtime, a slower approach, medication, walks, or just someone calm and attentive nearby, I am happy to adjust my care to what works best for them. Pet care fits very well into my current routine because I am only working as a veterinary assistant in Antigo two days out of the week. Outside of those workdays, I have a flexible schedule and am especially available on weekends. Since I will be in the area for the summer before I move, I would love to use that time to help people in the local community with pet sitting, dog walking, drop-ins, or other care needs. I know summer can be a busy time for travel, work, and family plans, so I am happy to provide reliable care when owners need someone they can trust. My schedule allows me to give pets the time and attention they need while still being consistent with their normal routine. I care for pets in a client’s home by trying to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I know pets can feel more comfortable when their feeding schedule, walks, playtime, medications, and quiet time stay close to what they are used to, so I always pay close attention to the instructions each owner provides. I am also very detail-oriented when it comes to caring for someone’s home. My goal is for you to return to a space that feels just as comfortable as when you left it, whether that means cleaning up after your pet, keeping food and supplies organized, bringing in mail, watering plants, or making sure the home is tidy before you return. Overall, I want both pets and owners to feel comfortable. I treat every home with respect and every pet with patience, care, and attention to their individual needs.
“Cannot recommend Maddy enough. She was very kind and easy to work with. It was so comforting knowing how much she cared for our pets while we were away for the week in Mexico. she sent regular updates, pictures and videos! She paid extra attention to detail and made sure to ask if our pets had any specials needs / routines. Our cats were very relaxed when we returned which was a sign of excellent care while we were gone. Will definitely be rebooking with Maddy for our next trip! :)”

“Emily went above and beyond with our puppies. She sent pictures every day, spent LOTS of outdoor time with them and did everything she could to make sure they were not only taken care of, but happy. When she left she cleaned up to the point that we hardly knew she was here. Highly recommend, will definitely be hiring her again!”

“Madeline is Great! My wife and I had a good feeling from her right when we met her. We have never left Ace with anyone overnite before, she is going on 18 years old. We felt very much at ease when we were gone. Madeline kept in contact with us via text when we were gone. We both would recommend her in a second!!”

About: I’ve had multiple dogs and cats growing up, and loved playing and watching my neighbors animals, taking them on walks, playing fetch and loving them. I have a cat and a 1 year old corgi of my own so I know how they can sometimes be a lot to handle. I’d love to help you get some of your time back if you need to do some errands, go on a trip, or just sit In bed all day. Im currently working full time at the university here in Stevens Point but my job is very autonomous, which allows me to work with you and figure out the best time for me to come care for your animals! Unless I have meetings, my schedule is very flexible! Im also very open on weekends unless plans already set. I would do anything for my fur babies and anybody else’s. They deserve just as much love and care for as humans do. My corgi loves other dogs and does so well with them- we can host your dog for a little bit or I’d be happy to sit at your place. Whatever it is, I can work with it!

“Arianna is a wonderful, efficient, personal, and caring dog sitter. She stayed at my residence for a full week and did an excellent job of caring for my dog Tigger as well as frequently communicating, through texts and photos, regarding his care! She is caring, capable, responsible, and trustworthy. During her stay she and Tigger experienced severe storms and her attention to the safety of Tigger and herself was paramount as well as ensuring the care of my home. I highly recommend her as a sitter; she certainly deserved the 5 star rating!”

Again Brittney was such a big help with our animals. She was even coincidentally available to help us batten down the hatches for the big storm. I was immediately notified and updated when my dog injured herself and she took great care of her with surprise meds. She has clear communication and takes beautiful pictures of my pets! Thanks Brittney!

Ava was a lifesaver for us, picking up a “sit” with short notice. She came for a meet-and-greet and our dog, Paddy and cat, Chicken, loved her right away! She was punctual in coming to our home and took great care of the animals during a cold and snowy weekend. The house was left nice and tidy, too. THANKS, AVA!

Brit stayed at our home for a week to look after our two golden retrievers who are both incredibly energetic and high-needs!! We didn’t worry one bit while she was here. From day one, Brit jumped into our routine with warmth, reliability, and a calm that instantly put our dogs at ease. Brit kept our dogs happy, safe, and well-exercised. She managed their high energy with patience, engaging play, and plenty of mental stimulation. She kept them on their feeding schedule, followed routines, and made sure they had ample outdoor time, naps, and plenty of affection. Communication was exceptional. We received regular updates and photos, which was a huge comfort while we were away. Our dogs clearly bonded with her, and we felt confident that they were in capable, loving hands the entire week. They were sad to see her go… watched Brit drive away through our living room window! Bottom line: if you need a trustworthy, dog-loving sitter who truly understands high-energy breeds, Brit is your person. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended.
