About: Not only am I dedicated to earning your trust, but I also want to earn the trust of your beloved fur babies! I have grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, and a variety of farm animals. In 2021, I had the opportunity to work with Okinawa Stray Pet Rescue in Japan, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in animal care, training, and supporting dogs with behavioral and emotional needs. This experience taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and building trust through gentle, positive, and respectful interactions. I understand that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and comfort level, and I strive to provide the attentive, loving care that makes them feel safe and at home. Additional Bonus: As a photographer, I also love capturing beautiful, candid, and downright hilarious moments of my furry friends! You can look forward to receiving plenty of adorable photos and updates from their stay. I work fully remotely Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care, frequent potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I kindly ask that pickups be arranged before 10 PM unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon in advance. I also travel frequently, so my availability may vary from week to week. However, I make it a priority to keep my calendar up to date so you can easily see when I'm available! Your pets will be thoroughly spoiled with love, attention, and affection while in my care! Since I don't currently have pets of my own, I love being able to dedicate that extra time and attention to yours. For dogs, this includes walks (weather permitting and provided they are leash-trained), outdoor time, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Cats receive the same love and attention, minus the walks, unless that's something they already enjoy! My experience working with a variety of animal personalities, particularly those experiencing anxiety or behavioral challenges, has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and recognizing each pet's individual needs. I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment where your fur babies can feel secure and build trust at their own pace. **Please note:** For everyone's safety, I am unable to walk dogs who are not leash-trained or who pull excessively. As an alternative, I have a secure yard setup with a lead that allows dogs to enjoy outdoor time and frequent potty breaks safely. Please let me know in advance if your dog is not leash-trained so we can discuss the best arrangements for their care.

About: Hey there! If my calendar doesn’t match what you need or with how far in advance to book- please reach out! I’m pretty flexible with that! I’ve taken care of pets for many many years! From my own to families and friends. There is NOTHING more that I love, than dogs!! My two labs I’ve raised since 6 weeks old. I talk to my two babies all day long. If I’m not with my boys, I’m constantly thinking of them and wanting to know how they are! If I run an errand I always want to call my dogs and talk to them and let them know momma will be right back! I am that crazy dog lady that tells my boys everything I do! I feel they need to know and I want them to feel loved! If I’m not snuggling my boys or playing with them I’m telling them stories or just loving on them! I will do anything for my babies and any dog in my care! The more the merrier!! My two labs are laid back and great with other dogs. They really don’t mind that they are around! Though I know they would love a playmate at times! Anyone can rely on me to check in on a pet, feed, take out and any other duties especially loving on them! I’m not one to just drop in and do the duty- I want to get all the snuggles and kisses and let them have some play time! Some friends and neighbors have been having me stay and take care of their pets or drop in care for 10+ years. There’s nothing I love more than caring for pets! They give me the happiness that my loved ones do because they are “my loved ones too!” Some people say I’m a dog whisper. I live and breathe for my 2 dogs I currently have. Ages 10 and 12! I enjoy seeing them run, play, tail wag and smile! I’m home with them daily and talk to them as if they can understand ;) they are my Velcro babies and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! Let me know if you would like to meet up and we can get things rolling and I can be a help with whatever it is that you need to make sure your pets are well cared for, happy, loved and having fun. It’s like a mini vacation for the pets! :) I look forward to making your pets stay, walk, boarding, or any help I can be, comfortable, safe and loving! I am super Excited to give all my love for your fur baby and then some! I would love to and enjoy sending pictures and updates on my own and also anything that would help you know that your pet is having a fun time and well cared for! Can’t wait to chat and meet up and be your dog’s new friend!! I will love them like my own! :) I’m available most of the day to play with, feed, take out, or just some extra snuggle time! Evenings also! Don’t hesitate to reach out even if it’s for one little helping! I take care of our 2 dogs we have now during the day! But I’m looking for extra snuggles and putting that smile on your pets face as much as mine!! I would love to play with, take out, feed and love on your pet for 5 minutes or 1 hour! Very happy to do so! I’d love for your pet to feel loved and safe in my home with my babies , my two black labs who love everyone!! They bring me soo much happiness and joy!! I’m home always to be with them and adore and enjoy them!! 🩷

She agreed to watch our pups with very short notice having never met them or us before, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for them to go while we were away. She loved them like they were her own, and it was obvious they loved her right back.

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

98% of sitters in Whiting can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Whiting home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Whiting.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whiting. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

You and your Whiting sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
